  1. Yes, I thought they were normally pretty good at avoiding public holidays, so I got a bit nervous there. Thanks!
  2. Okay, thank you DrJack. I will also try to call them tomorrow to see if they're really close.
  3. Hello. I recently went to extend my Non-O stay based on marriage, and got the appointment to collect the final stamp tomorrow - Feb 12. However, I realized just now tomorrow is a Thai public holiday. Is there a way to check if CW immigration will be open tomorrow? And in the case that it's not open, will I be penalized for going on the Feb 13 instead? Getting a bit worried...
  4. Hello everyone, this is for the application of extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai wife. If my TM.30 address is registered in the same address as my wife's house registration, do I understand correctly that I do not need to provide a rental agreement and/or ID of the house owner? I can just use my wife's ID and house register in the application?
  5. I should be fine then. :) Was just wondering if I would need a record in the new TM30 system they launched a while ago.
  6. CW office. I've been reporting TM47 using the same address. What is unbroken permission of stay?
  7. This is very useful, thank you. I don't have a TM30 record on the new system. Do you know if I can just use the one I have from the old system?
  8. I use the CW office. Does anyone know if, for CW particularly, my updated Kor Ror 2 needs to be dated to the same day I'll be applying for the extension? I planned to go get the updated Kor Ror a few days beforehand... do I just ask the officer to date the Kor Ror 2 to a specific date?
  9. Okay, thanks everyone! I was hoping I wouldn't need an updated version, but oh well. BKK
  10. I'm preparing for my first Non-O marriage extension. Wondering if anyone's done this recently and could confirm for me if I'll need to go get an updated Kor Ror 2? Or can I just use the one from last year when I registered my marriage here?
  11. Hello, would anyone be so kind as to point me out to where I can find the list of documents required for the non-O visa based on marriage (yearly) extension? I can't seem to find it anymore.
  12. @Red PhoenixCould you PM me the guideline please? Thank you!
  13. RIP Joe. Thank you for everything.
  14. Thank you! Should I bother booking an appointment in advance or it'll be quick and so I won't need to be there at, say, 8am in the morning?
  15. I am due to contact CW immigration again tomorrow to pick up my final stamp for the marriage extension. I have already been under the consideration period. Do I need to bring anything with me (beside my passport) when I go there tomorrow? Also, is it advisable to book an appointment in advance? Thanks a lot!
  16. Perfect. Thank you so much for the help!
  17. I'm currently living with my wife on the Non-O visa and will be applying for my first 1-year extension based on marriage next Thursday at the CW immigration. I'm aware that I need to submit a funds deposit certificate as part of the application. I have 400k Baht deposited in the Bangkok Bank for the past two months, so my funds is already seasoned. I'd like to ask if it's advisable that I go to the Bangkok Bank at CW on the same day of appointment with immigration (next Thursday) to obtain this funds deposit certificate, or will the bank need more time to issue said document? Thank you!
  18. So I was at the immigration today and the staff told me I did not need to do the 90-day reporting. They told me as long as I was not informed of the date to come report at the time when I got my extension stamp (wife visit extension), I don't need to do it.
  19. Can I ask, have you been using CW office? When was the last time you did the extension?
  20. That was my understanding too. But checking the list of docs required again now, it is confusing to me as the way it is written, it sounds like I will need to provide all 3 of the following: 1. Marriage Certificate (Kor Ror 2) 2. Marriage Certificate (Kor Ror 3) 3. A copy of letter certifying marital status before registration of marriage Or am I actually required to show only one of the above mentioned items? ????
  21. Hi Pib, I am wondering about the "A copy of letter certifying marital status before registration of marriage" though, which from my understanding refers to the marriage affidavit confirming I was single before I registered my marriage. Said doc was also supposed to be certified by my embassy (which it was.)
