  1. I should be fine then. :) Was just wondering if I would need a record in the new TM30 system they launched a while ago.
  2. This is very useful, thank you. I don't have a TM30 record on the new system. Do you know if I can just use the one I have from the old system?
  3. I use the CW office. Does anyone know if, for CW particularly, my updated Kor Ror 2 needs to be dated to the same day I'll be applying for the extension? I planned to go get the updated Kor Ror a few days beforehand... do I just ask the officer to date the Kor Ror 2 to a specific date?
  4. Okay, thanks everyone! I was hoping I wouldn't need an updated version, but oh well. BKK
  5. I'm preparing for my first Non-O marriage extension. Wondering if anyone's done this recently and could confirm for me if I'll need to go get an updated Kor Ror 2? Or can I just use the one from last year when I registered my marriage here?
  6. Hello, would anyone be so kind as to point me out to where I can find the list of documents required for the non-O visa based on marriage (yearly) extension? I can't seem to find it anymore.
  7. @Red PhoenixCould you PM me the guideline please? Thank you!
  8. Thank you! Should I bother booking an appointment in advance or it'll be quick and so I won't need to be there at, say, 8am in the morning?
  9. I am due to contact CW immigration again tomorrow to pick up my final stamp for the marriage extension. I have already been under the consideration period. Do I need to bring anything with me (beside my passport) when I go there tomorrow? Also, is it advisable to book an appointment in advance? Thanks a lot!
  10. I'm currently living with my wife on the Non-O visa and will be applying for my first 1-year extension based on marriage next Thursday at the CW immigration. I'm aware that I need to submit a funds deposit certificate as part of the application. I have 400k Baht deposited in the Bangkok Bank for the past two months, so my funds is already seasoned. I'd like to ask if it's advisable that I go to the Bangkok Bank at CW on the same day of appointment with immigration (next Thursday) to obtain this funds deposit certificate, or will the bank need more time to issue said document? Thank you!
  11. So I was at the immigration today and the staff told me I did not need to do the 90-day reporting. They told me as long as I was not informed of the date to come report at the time when I got my extension stamp (wife visit extension), I don't need to do it.
  12. Can I ask, have you been using CW office? When was the last time you did the extension?
  13. That was my understanding too. But checking the list of docs required again now, it is confusing to me as the way it is written, it sounds like I will need to provide all 3 of the following: 1. Marriage Certificate (Kor Ror 2) 2. Marriage Certificate (Kor Ror 3) 3. A copy of letter certifying marital status before registration of marriage Or am I actually required to show only one of the above mentioned items? ????
  14. Hi Pib, I am wondering about the "A copy of letter certifying marital status before registration of marriage" though, which from my understanding refers to the marriage affidavit confirming I was single before I registered my marriage. Said doc was also supposed to be certified by my embassy (which it was.)
  15. I am going to apply for a change of visa from my Tourist to Non-O visa tomorrow. One of the docs required from this list is a letter certifying my marital status. I registered my marriage in Thailand back in Sep 8, but cannot remember if the Amphur actually kept both my English and translated marriage affidavit. Could anyone who has had the same experience or knowledge on the matter confirm this? Do I go to the Amphur I registered my marriage and ask them to give me a copy of both versions (Thai & English)? Thank you
  16. Thank you everyone for your help so far. So to report in person, do all I need are my passport and the TM47 form? Can I grab the form at the immigration office and fill it there? Additionally, I am planning to go apply for a change of visa to Non-O next week (doing it a bit early as my current extension allows me to stay until Dec 2). Since I will need to go do the 90-day reporting in person as well, I'm thinking I might as well apply for Non-O on the same day, then do the 90-day reporting. Hopefully, it will not be deemed too early for me to apply for Non-O.
  17. My original confusion stems from the below quoted line from this page. Since I did get an extension once, and thought the 90 day may have now counted from Sep 20. So in conclusion, I actually need to do the reporting now?
  18. I am a little confused about when I need to do the 90-day reporting for the first time. I initially entered Thailand with a Tourist Visa back on Aug 5. Then on Sep 20, I went to get my visa extended on the basis of visiting my wife. Could anyone please advise what would be the correct date of my first 90-day reporting? Also, can I use the online system for this first reporting? Thank you in advance!
  19. I wanted to report a successful extension of my Tourist Visa today, thanks to all the help I got in this forum over the past two weeks. Immigration Office: Chaengwattana Original TV Expiry Date: Oct 3 New Expiry Date: Dec 2 Documents used: TM7 application form Copy of passport bio page Copy of latest passport page with arrival stamp Marriage Certificate (Kor Ror 2 & 3) Copy of marriage certificate (Kor Ror 2 & 3) WIfe's ID card Copy of wife's ID card Wife's housebook Copy of wife's housebook TM30 record The officer also asked for a copy of my Tourist eVisa. I did not bring it, so I had to go downstairs to get it printed out before submitting it to the officer. After every document was submitted and checked, I waited around 5 minutes before they gave me a shiny new 60-day extension stamp. I booked an appointment online, arrived more than an hour before the appointed time, and the officer told me to get a queue from the front desk so I get served faster due to the fact that there were only a few applicants waiting.
