Whats the best 1 year package unlimited (AIS/ Dtac/True)
NextG replied to kwak250's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
AIS has multiple bands at their disposal, as do DTAC and Truemove H. They provide MOBILE service. NT have only Band 40. Their mobile service uses DTAC/AIS infrastructure. Wireless uses Band 40 that DTAC leases from them in the first place. -

Mobile means…. you can take it with you and it will connect to other wave bands if necessary. The Wireless service is on a single waveband. If no service where you are, it will not connect to another band. -

No one has a 5G router here. You are patently aware of that. 5G smartphone at best. -

You are just repeating ridiculous advertisements from certain sellers. See if you can find even a single speed test online from a buyer or seller. You’ll likely see speeds of up to 100 Mbps and only only obtain that with 2CA or 3CA. Furthermore, even if they were offering 5G, you would need a 5G router. Expect to pay in excess of 20,000 baht for that. Likely in reality, you would use a 5G smartphone. -

Of course they would. The promo I mentioned was for new SIM. Though if you were insistent(leaving), they would offer it to you on request. A bit late for you, as AIS have stopped their Unlimited capped speed offerings for now. Though they have a Marathon SIM offer to which you can subscribe if on Prepaid. For 1490 baht per annum you get 100 GB of data per month at up to 15Mbps, 60 minutes of free calls to any network and unlimited calls within the network. For existing numbers they offer just the data portion for 1890 baht per annum with Disney + Hotstar access. DTAC and Truemove H maintain their Unlimited data at up to 30Mbps and unlimited free calls packages at 265 baht per month. 900 baht seems on the high side unless for Business standard service. -

Yes, it’s NT now ☺️ Note that the Mobile service differs from the Wireless service. Mobile roams, Wireless does not. -

Is this helpful somehow? ???? I guess my unlimited data at 20Mbps with unlimited free calls at 300 baht per month goes some way to beating it. -

PoorSucker has experience with the SIM pack. There are no restrictions other than it being on LTE Band 40. It can be used on higher floors, depending on the available signal. Get a base SIM and add a small package for the purpose of testing; https://www.totmobile.net/en/Prepaid/710.aspx Though you might need a device that you can manually choose the LTE Band 40, otherwise it may roam on Band 1, unlike an NT Wireless SIM which is Band 40 only. Enquire at a TOT/NT office as to coverage. -

Not necessarily, even though it may state ‘up to 100 Mbps’, the speed depends on your location, as you found out when comparing DTAC and AIS. I can only receive around 4Mbps with DTAC at my location, even with a max speed plan. With AIS I can get up to around 17Mbps. That’s why it was suggested to you to run speed tests before committing to a longer term option. The SIM above needs your device to be able to see LTE Band 40, so it’s not for everyone. If you don’t use more than 100GB monthly, your best bet would have likely been the AIS Marathon SIM. -

https://shopee.co.th/-เน็ตไม่อั้น-1-ปี-NT-wireless-net-Thunder-999-i.235326805.3979061813 is the cheapest 12 month Unlimited data with the speed not capped. It’s Internet supplied by SIM rather than a mobile service. -

You asked about Unlimited. The AIS package doesn’t fit that description. -
Not all of the offers will be available by the time you need them. AIS has already changed their offerings, so the advertised offers may not be available unless pre-activated. Best to ask the vendor before ordering. Some of the offers shown are for simply purchasing a base SIM card along with a code you have to apply after topping up the required amount. But the code may be out of use by the time you need to use it. Best is to just test with normal SIM and when you know which gives you the best signal and speed, apply a suitable code. Don’t look for them in the official websites, just run your tests and when you know which network is best, ask here for a suitable 15Mbps to 30Mbps code or try entering one you find on Lazada/Shopee. You can also obtain a three month pack, such as this one; https://www.lazada.co.th/products/dtac-10mbps-60-3-i1778552388-s5189212188.html Can also be obtained directly from DTAC. Obviously limited compared to their 20Mbps and 30Mbps offerings. But useless if you can only pull down 2Mbps at your condo. So test before committing to a longer term pack. A bewildering array of options. So narrow them down by testing which can supply the highest speed at your location and then we here can point you towards the best available at that time. Usually just a matter of applying a code to your newly tested SIM. Has to be done within seven days of activating the SIM.

Exact numbers? ???? Good that you’ve managed to calm down and write in a more respectful manner. As aforementioned, until you inspect the scene for yourself, it’s probably best not to make such assertions. It is like driving in a tight circle and obscured on the left by a hedge. Then of course there is the height of the car and the length of the bonnet. As a layperson, what percentage would you give to anyone who opened the gate for her? Furthermore, would you work crouched down with your back to a barrier if you knew it could be activated behind you? You don’t need to be a lawyer to be able to use your intelligence. -

If you write the worker was in her blind spot, then how did you get to the over 50% figure? Just off the top of your head eh? Another one who has not step foot near the place. Even if we ignore the sharp left turn with blind spots as you mentioned. What about the gate being opened to gain her entrance? What about the worker’s colleague? I won’t even mention if the victim made mistakes, but the point is you seem to think that all of those things add up to less than 50% of the blame. Three people possibly making mistakes on one side and one person on the other. How does the one person, who by your own admission could not see because of a likely blind spot and possibly exacerbated by the position of the worker, translate to more than 50%? It’s tragic because everyone involved failed in some way. If even one of them spotted the issue, disaster could have been averted. -

Did the security guard state he was otherwise disposed or was that the worker’s colleague? If the driver does not activate the gate, then how did it open? Because without it opening the driver would have stopped. The gate opening on approach would suggest ‘all clear’ to the driver, It’s all really unfortunate. I would not be so quick to blame the driver. The ones shouting the loudest should get themselves to the scene to survey the landscape for themselves before continuing on with their crusade. -

Have you actually been to the scene? I am guessing that you have not. It’s an awkward turn. Though I’m not sure as to how the barrier is activated nor what she was thinking when something was not as expected. Either way, a tragedy. -

I disagree. You can buy branded Cat.4 routers for easily 1000 baht less. The price level indicated could net you a Cat.6 router. https://shopee.co.th/product/104686285/11737712884 https://www.lazada.co.th/products/tenda-4g09-ac1200-4g-cat6-router-wifi-4g-2ca-wireless-dual-band-i1140998609-s2650066767.html https://shopee.co.th/Archer-MR600-TP-Link-4G-Cat6-AC1200-Wireless-Dual-Band-4G-LTE-Advance(CAT6)-Router-By-Vnix-Group-i.104686285.14359212789
