If they want money to live then they better shape up! Because people will stop eating there. No customers = no money. It would behoove the waitresses to be extra nice all the time to make as much tips as possible. simple economics which quite clearly Thai people just can’t seem to grasp.

so PAYING customers need to change. Not the establishments who depend on OUR money to survive. with this kind of attitude its no bloody wonder that pubs and restaurants are going out of business like theres no tomrrow. How the hell can you better yourself if you dont get told where you are going wrong??

Adapt with politeness? how long have you been here? You sound like you’ve just got off the boat or are on a 2 week holiday.. Your logic is baffling to me. your wife’s not a waitress is she? 😂

Whether she is having a bad day or not is none of my business. A waitress is there to serve customers, supposedly with a smile, not with aggression and hostility.

what is it with these moody waitresses in Thailand I just ordered an english breakfast and the eggs were very runny I asked if the chef could put them back on the fry for a minute and she looked at me like i'd just farted. then she said 'next time you say well done OK' well I never the bloody cheek eggs well done?? whatever next.. then when she came back she literally threw the plate at me and almost spilt my tea all over me she then started the obligatory bad mouthing me to her buddies in Thai.. what is wrong with these people at all i've never known a population so sensitive to a bit of criticism and the service really is shocking at times this is not an isolated incident, many similar situations have happened to me over the years. if you don't like your job then quit! with an attitude like that its a miracle that anyone would want to hire you in the first place!!!
