  1. Islam is so overrated. Religion of peace my azz. Biggest cult in the world. I would never visit a Muslim country.
  2. I bought my parents a nice set of cutlery 50 years ago. It is still in excellent shape and was only used for family gatherings. My Mom is now in a nursing home and has cleared out her house for selling. She asked if I wanted anything so I asked for the cutlery. She sent it last month and said it's on the slow boat and that I should get it next month sometime. Can anyone tell me what fees/costs will be due upon arrival?
  3. I loved Nha Trang. Spent 6 months in the area back in 2012. I went south during Christmas as the place got invaded by Russians, who I found to be loud and arrogant and disrespected the locals. I returned after they left. During my time in South Vietnam I took a month and came to Thailand for the first time. Found it to be 40 - 50% more expensive than Vietnam. When I reentered Vietnam I went on a business visa, which allowed me to look into business opportunities. Found it to be a nightmare. The following year I came back to Thailand for 6 months. The next year I returned to Thailand and bought a pub/restaurant on Koh Lanta. Met my future wife on Phi Phi Island. The next year got married in Isan. Took my wife to Canada and then we did 6 months there, 6 months at the Pub for 4 years. Following year sold the pub and bought 5 rai in east Ubon. The wife stayed, I went to work, and we built our house over Covid. I retired here in 2022. We now have a nice hobby farm with chickens, ducks, fish and pigs and 2 rai in garden. 9 cats and 4 dogs, all by gift 🙃. I've often thought about taking my wife to Nha Trang. It's a 16hr. drive from my house. I've been meaning to look into the possibilities of driving there. Not sure if it's allowed. Anyone out there have experience driving to Vietnam?
  4. The illegals were offered a free ride home and $1000. If they didn't take it they are fair game. Thailand is more strict on illegal immigration than the USA is.
  5. Before moving to Thailand I spent 6 months in Vietnam. I loved Nha Trang. The people were awesome, food was great and it was cheaper than Thailand by 40%. This was in 2011. My thoughts go out to these lovely people.
  6. You used to be able to have a gun at a knife fight. That's where Britain lost the plot. Trying to take your country back will now be a lot slower, if it ever happens.
  7. Hopefully there will also be charges brought on her in New York as well. She committed fraud on her property there as well. She is one nasty women.
  8. Thanks for this. I have to say, if Brits, at this point in time, do not see the immigration problem and the clamp downs on free speech, to name but two, are not serious problems, one has to wonder what the hell they are thinking about. Perhaps Tommy Robinsons next march/concert will light the necessary fires to wake the rest of the Island up. It might be a good time to invite the Irish to participate to create solidarity ( for a change ) and become a united force to bring about, what I believe to be, this necessary changing of the guards ( so to speak ). King Chuckles, one would hope, should be able to see the writing on the wall. In that vain, I haven't heard anything coming out of Williams yip. One would think he has an opinion. Any news on this front?
  9. Honest questions. Is there a legal way to have Starmer removed before his term is up? If so, why is it not being done?
  10. No you don't. Nice to see some karma come back at them. They let Antifa in to stir up trouble and they paid for it. It's about time the Brits stood up and be counted, they are close to loosing their Country as they know it. Mass immigration has been a total failure and needs to stop. On top of that, they need to now start mass deportation of the proven scum.
  11. 1 down, the rest to go. hopefully soon. looking forward to the march this month.
  12. You get a bigger sentence for stating that there's <deleted> grooming gangs about, or your school sucks or some other post not accepted by the tyrants.
  13. A simple google search for corrupt police officers will show thousands of cases where the police have been shown to be corrupt and their brethren defending the blue line. If immunity was taken away for many of these cases I think you would see a decline in all the corruption. Even when sentenced they seem to get off more lightly than the average Joe.
  14. New nickname ; Donny Doo Doo Get a reality check Doo Doo.
  15. The Thai's love their whistles. The Airports are the same, I watched the guys while I having a smoke. Blowing their whistles so constantly & unnecessarily. They seem to think they have the power of a tiger. Not only excessive noise but it also echo's throughout the passage way. Hand signals can work 95% of the time. Save the whistle for uncaring drivers & parkers. Very annoying.
  16. This may help to explain the excessive use of horns in Vietnam. It was great to get the baguette there but they could of, should of, left the horns in France.
  17. Before visiting Thailand for the first time I went to Vietnam for 6 months. I couldn't believe the noise of the horns. Seemed everyone was beeping everywhere. Even on straight streets with no obstacles. It was annoying sitting in a cafe having morning coffee and reading a book with all the horns going off. I rented a motorbike one day and took it back 2 hours later as it was mayhem on the roads. With all the beeping going on you didn't know what the hell you were supposed to be avoiding and from where. Talk about unnecessary noise, sheesh. Maybe that was how they kept the crime rate down. I never saw an issue the whole time I was there, and I did a lot of walking.
  18. Agreed. The thing I was trying to get across was as the pole shifts the magnetic field protecting us gets out of balance thus letting in more sun rays which I believe shifts things. It gets unbalanced. Thus I think it will effect the weather in ways I don't understand. There seems to be a lot of science guys that can't seem to be able to nail it down. I just don't think that 100 years of industrial progress can screw us up the amount they are trying to sell us. As mentioned, hard to trust these numbskulls in power. Just look at how many predictions have not fruited over the years. The magnetosphere is going a bit bananas at the current time and we are seeing an increase of wild weather patterns at the moment. Something is happening, but I doubt it is what they are trying to sell. When I do research on this subject I get all kinds of theories but it seems even the so called experts can't agree. Anyway, it seems we have just about reached a 1.5C increase in temperature, aurora's are being seen further south all the time and i just feel that there is a connection here somewhere. Any retired scientists out there?
  19. The experts never seem to mention the axis going off kilter with the poles wandering off. It seems to me that this constant moving of the north pole will effect the jet streams and the angle to the sun. One would think that this would affect the weather patterns that we have been used to. It appears we are slowly heading toward a pole shift which will once again change the world dramatically. There's no stopping this reality. The cleanse is coming. Unfortunately it is becoming increasingly more difficult to trust the so called experts. The most recent survey determined that the Pole is moving approximately north-northwest at 55km per year. NASA claims that pole shifts don't have much effect on weather. Seems an odd statement considering Antarctica used to be fertile ground. They also state the last pole shift was 700,000 years ago but also that the average pole shifts occur every 300,000 years. It may be true that NASA stands for Never A Straight Answer. One fact everyone seems to agree upon is that the shift was about 10km per year until recently. https://media.cnn.com/api/v1/loops/stellar/prod/20250113-geomagnetic-01-loop.mp4?c=original Just thinking out loud.
  20. Perhaps Britain isn't big enough to grow outside. Back in the day we would go for a long walk in the woods and spot plant along a stream. Worked fine.
  21. 100 SEEDS is all these idiots need. Drop ship from Amsterdam. Doesn't anyone work anymore?
  22. Mikey, Mikey, Mikey...do give it a rest. Not just for your own sake, but for ours as well. You're pounding the keys so hard & fast that you misspelled Pete's name. Shame, Shame, Shame.
