The difference between us is that you are talking about land while I'm talking about people. As for the land, there is no technical problem to give it back to Ukraine. As for people, this just impossible. How about asking Crimean people, are they want to be part of Ukraine again? The result will be devastating. Or you willing to do so anyway and not care at all how many lives will be broken?
-
This is just impossible. The key reason is Crimea, which is deeply integrated to Russia now. For over than 10 years people in Crimea are living under same laws, same currency, same language and so on. Children are born, diplomas received, pensions earned, healthcare policies implemented. There is no acceptable way to cut it out, either for Putin, either for Russian people.

Maybe pilot decides that the problem will be escalating over time. For example, loosing some pressure or leak of some liquid. So he decided to land asap, while the problem is still manageable.

I have read some research, according to it everything depends of number of warheads to being used. The predicted value is 10-15%. This petty low number is predicted because of various reasons: not all nuclear countries are in conflict, some warheads are destroyed because them are the primary target, not all warheads will work, not all waheads are moved from “cold storage”, some warheads will be shot down. if assume that the 10-15% will be correct, the prognosis is this: - northern hemisphere: complete death because of temperatures are -50 for 2 winters -Thailand altitude: two winters with temperatures around -15 to -5 (depending on 15% or 10% of warheads usage). Theoretically survivable.

It is obvious for everyone who is able to think little deep that this offer been made to be declined. Zelensky would answer: "Okay Vlad, we will do what you will say". Really? No, it is designed to be declined. The media is not quoting the main phrase from this statement. It sounds like "later the conditions will be other". I think that after some more thousands of lost lifes and some more of lost territory we will face another offer, with more bad conditions.

How this corresponds with the fact that according to the 2021 census there are 171k Ukrainians living in Crimea, and Ukrainian being is one of three official languages? People not afraid to call themselves Ukrainians when being asked. Where I can read about mass deportations or genocide in Crimea? -

Yeah, I admit that in 2014 he claimed 2 weeks. Not any 3days claims then he started the war in 2022. Neither Putin, neither other officials. -

The article date: SEPTEMBER 2, 2014 I thought we were talking about ‘SMO’. I even think that in 2014 that was possible, Ukrainian army been much more weak in that time, they have not been ready to any military aggression and have not been receiving any help from West. The fact that you providing 10-years old quotes only proves my point that Putin didn’t claimed any dates then he have started this war. -

I will repeat again, to be sent to war this Ukraine, you must appear by yourself a sign the contract with MOD (and get paid for it). This is fully voluntary. However it is similar to signing contract with the devil, because after there is no way back, you cannot cancel it. If you will, there will be a jail time. There is mandatory conscription still for 1 year service, but those personnel serving in Russia and not being sent to Ukraine. There are million ways to avoid this conscription, having a kid and being single parent is one of them. -

The facts are: 1) if you don’t want to join the war, you just not going there. Participating is fully voluntary, he could normally live in Russia taking care of his daughters. 2) When money started to run out, why he just didn’t went back to home country to work and earn? There is a shortage of manpower there, salaries increasing because of that, he could provide his daughters for sure. Instead, he just preferred to stay in Thailand and doing nothing? -

In Russia supporting other side is punishable by law. First time there is a fine, second time - jail time. So you suggest that West should not step far from Russia in terms of freedom of speech and apply the same punishments? -

From my opinion: -migrants from Asia -low class -foreigners -middle class - high class -
That's absolutely right. People been buying European and US assets through brokers. There are dozens of brokers with millions customers accumulating assets, some maybe using infrastructure of bigger brokers. At end the end of this chain was Euroclear, freezing all assets. Whatever mechanism it is, people who have no any connection to state facing their investments to West frozen, and this will work as a vaccine to do not invest there in future.
-
If you never heard about something, that doesnt means it not exists. There are a lot of private investors at Russia who been holding foreign (mostly European and US) equities with Euroclear as the depository. All these assets are frozen now, just by passport color. Moreover, one the stock Russian exchanges (Spbexchange) been sanctioned and thousands usual people who been holding US, European, and moreover, China assets got all their funds frozen.
