    Absolute nonsense, I lived in Thailand and got bankrupt I don't get all the benefits in Thailand as I get in Australia. Do I get free health care in Thailand or Cambodia? Absolutely not. It would consume most of my pension. And those statistics only apply for stupid people who max up their credit cards which I don't have I lived many years in Thailand but moved back to OZ so did my Thai wife of 20 years

    I am in the west now where fireworks are strictly forbidden one cannot buy fireworks. Yes, we have some fireworks on special occasions, but they are organized by experts.

    Last time I flew I choose Malaysian Airlines never again. Got ripped off with the luggage the ticket stated 20 KG each but at check in we are being told it is for a couple and paid extra 200 AUD. Arrived in KL and had to change terminals with no time at all, could not find a lift since I had a broken ankle. No facilities for handicapped on the bus we had to use. So that is why I use Thai Airways less than 7 hours nonstop.

    There is nothing wrong with Pattaya if you don't like the red lights districts just stay out of it. I have been to Pattaya many times and never been to a bar or paid for a lady drink. I always stay at nice hotels and if I like a drink, I just go to the hotel bar and for food to my favourite's restaurants.

    Well, I am a pensioner, I could fly for much less than that with crappy little airlines and stop over twice for about 18 hours.

    I do not live in Thailand at the moment, but I did I do send money to Thailand sometimes to help out some people and no not to a girl. I must add I am a pensioner.

    What overpriced tickets? I can fly Perth to BKK for 506 US dollars and that is return nonstop.
