  1. The scum of the country, taxi drivers. For decades they've been controlling the monopoly on ripping off the public. Street fights near enough always involve packs of them stamping on people's heads on the floor. Diddums... they've been undercut because the public have had enough of their scams and cheating. Long may it continue.
  2. The man goes out cutting ancient trees for no apparent reason. No sympathy from me. Cretins like this who think they are above nature's own ways are the reason the environment here is so messed up. The rules don't apply to me...I can do as I wish. Thailand as a country is stunning in its natural place. Those that show no respect or gratitude get caught up in the own wrongdoing. Karma
  3. Agreed. This is miraculous to me. I'm amazed that a Thai school has this equipment let alone maintain it properly. Fantastic work by the school, kids and everyone involved. I'd like to think all Thai schools are on board but I very much doubt it. Sadly, many Thai schools can't be bothered with any of the aforementioned lessons or won't invest in such hence the wish for many Thai families to avoid Thai education in favour of international schools. Can't imagine families back home paying over the odds to avoid being taught by our own countrymen. Reiterate the outstanding effort part. Well done lads.
  4. Priceless... I'm not doubting this stuff...so upto 5pc...I'm sitting on a busy train of say around 100 passengers. 5 of my fellow commuters therefore have shagged a goat.
  5. Nahhhh.... let's get the English correct here. Beastiality exists for sure...but common? Nah, isolated incidents maybe but definitely not common. This is a freak show. Nothing more or less. That's why it's in the news. Years back, a man was shagging his goat in his garden when a train full of commuters pulled up. Can't imagine one passenger saying...nothing to see here chaps. Happens quite often don't you know...
  6. My thoughts also. Seems to be able to access a phone and internet in order to sell her organs. The pessimist or realist in me doesn't buy this. Seems like the usual attention grabbing social media freak. Take the boy away. Anybody trying to adopt a child on FB is a complete liability as a parent and doesn't deserve children. See how quickly she sorts her act out then.
  7. Nothing unusual or uncommon in shagging a cow, or better still, politely requesting the use of some cattle to hump???? Not unusual??? Certainly made me chuckle rather than freak out but saying that..... anybody saying this is a common occurrence must be living bloody remotely.
  8. Thought the same. My money's on it all dribbling away with the other progressive plans. The "traditional" members of society will never allow their crappy system to be challenged. Back to whacking kids, falsified grades and one of the worst educational upbringings in the world. The hub of....
  9. "You said Neehow to me.... I'll get you deported...." This nonsense breeds little b**chess like that jumped-up little twit in the news last month. All mouth and camera phones. Do we get to claim hate crimes every time an offensive, gobby katoey starts mouthing off? Not saying the victim deserved it but it's hardly an innocent bunch of well-mannered folk who can't hold their own. Most LBs have bigger balls than the native males, in both senses.
  10. The first 4 words derails the entire story.... In a SHOCKING case. No shocks here, just another dishonest, scamming cheat using a faith and the local community to feed his habit and greed. I wonder what the stats are on criminals being reformed after joining. Scum. Had another chance once before and p'd all over it. Hope it rots in a cell with all the other holes.
  11. Go to a non-tourist beach after a Thai public holiday and see the state of it. Traffic....air pollution....that's 99 percent Thai. I agree that the standard is much worse but the "Thais are fed up with it all," doesn't add up. They cause a lot of their own problems.
  12. "expressing a strong dislike for the police." Not mentally unstable in my eyes.
  13. Eating that much is an indication of the kid's mental wellbeing. He may only be a kid but lacking self-esteem, having little or no hope and adding the confusion of autism to the mix and you have all the ingredients of a disaster. The guardians probably give him the food and a phone because they don't know what else to do. Poor lad hasn't been given a good start to life. I sincerely hope he gets the care he deserves.
  14. Hhhh...that coming from a grown man who uses the word "dork." I relate that term to Bill and Ted or Beavis and Butthead. Must be who you were named after. Nope, later stages of life and blissfully single. Nice try though. Your psychology skills are commendable like everything else that I idolise about you. However, to help you out once more, random examples of random distractions, that's my point Sadly, you still don't get the nature of the examples I gave. Read it again Sherlock. I love a good debate but this is like talking to Zippy from Rainbow.
  15. No....maybe it's a British thing and it's not coming across clearly. The examples I stated were just flippant ones based on what I grew up being told. The views of the ideals rather than reality. I was taught to keep both hands on the wheel at all times. Don't cross your hands when turning. Keep your eyes on the road at all times, look at the road and stop changing the music over etc...etc... Of course you need to look left, right, at the radio, talk, everyone does but they're considered to be distractions that we should avoid. Your reaction is actually the point I was making. It's not realistic to drive like that, just as it's complete lunacy to suggest that someone who grabbed a bottle was doing so through choice and did so deliberately.
  16. That was my first reaction oddly. Nobody else was involved fortunately and it was an accident. If you get a fine doesn't it need to be in relation to breaking the law? Honestly, I'm just asking because I don't know how that would be possible without witnesses and based on the testimony of a very shaken and disoriented individual. They could go for driving without due diligence but again, no solid proof so a compromise will probably be sought. I think the license test is a good idea but again, being it's Thailand the test isn't worth a thing. I'll pm all the routes I take so you can avoid me and if you can do the same, so I can learn from you, well, my life would be complete.
  17. Absolutely. Now that makes more sense. Let's say he dropped something, panics, swerves and pulls the steering wheel too hard or whatever and ends up wrecking the motor. All over in a flash and complete shock after the event. Sounds very much like previous experience and lingering anxiety would do that for certain.
  18. Do I get what? You have lots of experience in dropping things whilst driving and not picking them up right? The points, you so eloquently call ridiculous, are general responses to what driving authorities have down as distractions. They're not my ideals but what people preach but never practise, including myself. You have misunderstood the entire post. Looking left or right at passing distractions, pretty ladies, sights, viewpoints etc...tbst was my example, not looking in your mirrors or turning. Clueless. Changing the radio station requires you to take your eyes off the road numbnuts. 2 seconds is not going to be dangerous no? How long does it take to reach down and pick something up? Both depends on who does it. Talking to someone whilst not looking another 2 seconds? Again, depends on the person. How many times have you seen passengers telling the driver to watch the road? It happens far too often but once again you've completely misinterpreted it for your own benefit. So taking your eye off the road for 2 seconds is safe then? I get it now. You're my hero.... If you had any concept of what my post was talking about it would have saved you time. All distractions are potentially dangerous but some are unavoidable or simply caused by human reactions. These clowns who say you should do this and not do that are the, "I told you sooo," brigade. The most annoying, sad, desperate group of outcasts around. Just to make it clear enough. In hindsight, stopping would have been the correct path to take but I'm guessing he reacted as normal humans do.
  19. Sick and twisted. I deplore seeing the brave, native males attacking people in mass, stamping on them as they lie on the floor but in this instance I'd love to watch it.
  20. Do me a favour. As if people do that. Of course it's safer, responsible and the correct way of doing it but in reality nobody stops every time they drop something. It also warns us of distractions whilst driving. Same rubbish. Yes, we should all face frontwards and never look left or right. Don't talk to anybody in the car. Don't look at the radio when changing the track etc...etc...should of, could of, would of. Easy to preach after the event and when it's not you. There is another scenario that probably caused his reaction which is panic. If you drop a bottle onto the driver's foot well it will roll under or around the peddles. Most people's instant reaction, rightly or wrongly, is to grab it.
  21. I agree with the joint v yaba argument but I think the yaba explains more. A stable person would take a beer, ciggie or joint and take a breather but if he is taking yaba it would "suggest" he must need a complete block out and at rock bottom prices. Either that or he's reached his destiny already. I might be entirely wrong and he could be a selfish so n so but equally it could have been a way out that a counselling service could have helped avoid. I'm not entirely sure the many we see as stable are just that or more a case of treading water until it starts to crumble. The debts, inequality, limited chances to progress and overall struggles many face on an annual basis must have consequences down the line. But yep, we only hear news when it's tragic or shocking which is why I tend to avoid the mainstream news now.
  22. Sympathy for the victims but stories like these highlight the mental stress many natives are under. The elite and many in control are content with the Land of Smiles, Thainess hub BS as it hides the truth so conveniently.
  23. I don't think money comes into it with helmets. Some are too poor to afford one but the overwhelming majority don't wear them because they're too lazy or vain to do so. As for skin colour, the west is obsessed with tanned skin but Asia is the opposite. People always want what they don't have.
  24. Won't matter to those in power. They get their palms greased so the local economy can go whistle as far as the elite are concerned. Shouldn't blame the Chinese. If the zero-caring elite allow them to do it why blame China? Like putting a steak on the floor and kicking the dog for taking it. Always someone else's fault
  25. Absolutely nailed it. There is no point trying to convert the stupid and selfish. How many years does this go on and yet the native adults still WON'T change. You're preaching to those that know the dangers yet CHOOSE to drive like idiots. You can take horses to water and all that, but in this case swap the horse for a cow looking creature whose name we cannot mention.... Pointless indeed. They'd be better off saying....2024 X amount dead. 2025 how many will die YOU DECIDE! Get on with it.
