    I have noticed that also that if the opinion doesnt fit in with the old grumpy UK male, then you will cop flak, as I probably will for this post. Sensitive bunch very stuck in their negative ways, they hate positivity.

    A lot of the places I travel to in Thailand dont have higher quality hotels. I am usually there, as I was on the weekend, meeting a new friend to play with. The TV i am talking about is the little box thing with a separate remote control to the main remote.

    I do like to watch the Thai news, quite enjoy watching old Thai movies and I use it to improve my Thai language listening skills. No point you watching is because you wouldnt be able to understand it. 555

    complete and utter krap. Ads for herbal remedies for all sorts of ailments, dodgy kitchenware, old blokes who cant perform anymore, fat womens clothing to make them appear skinnier etc etc Even the old Thai movies they put on are interrupted at the worst possible time with ads.

    Bought and sold thirteen houses in Thailand and made a profit, some large, on all but one. Other blokes buy a house for their little teerak, which is a 100% loss and end up standing in Laotian Immigration queues in the hot son for hours under a pink umbrella.

    You cant speak Thai. Do you want them to learn American just to speak to you. People who are too lazy to learn the language shouldnt expect to hve any real friends. It is impossible. Your fault, not theirs.

    Yeah mate, I know how you feel. I went to an Aussie bank in outback Australia and asked them the rate for Thai baht. They told me the rate but didnt have any I dont know how they make money. idiots
