Let's blame the app... seems that blaming everything except the perpetrator is the norm in Thailand
I met my wife through a dating app and both of us are as happy as can be... the difference was not the app but the people using it.

Paranoid until you get robbed. I got robbed 4 times before having my cctv and (knock on wood) not once since having them. I guess some of us just don't have any valuables to worry about save for a laptop, a mobile phone and a cheap led TV in a 1 1/2 condo...
Then you agree that he is being paranoid... the camera is reducing his risk of being robbed and he thinks that the neighbor is spying on him... 5555

Alternatives to fossil fuel use - EXPLAINED, in 1 sentence.
Every time I use the EVs or Solar at home, I save money instead of spend money.
You pre-spent the money... what's your breakeven point... 10 years to 20 years is the norm.

Where's your follow up to your post... it has been corrected that it was a lie that there were any balloons flown over the USA by the chinese during Trump.
Oh well... as usual no follow up when the lies are found out to be Trump syndrome and not fact... 555

There is NO consumer protection in LOS as is the case in most western countries. Like so many other issues here, you don't have to like it, you just have to accept it. Move on.
There actually is a consumer protection law in Thailand... "Consumer Protection Act, B.E. 2522"... but it requires someone to go against all that is sacred in LOS and actually complain when it is violated... thus there might as well not be a law at all.

His wifes sister had arrived from Beijing a couple of days before and speaks perfect English. I asked her, what's the real story about covid and what's happening with it in Beijing presently? She said, "pretty much everything is normal, life continues there as though nothing much has happened, hardly anything has changed". Some people have covid/flu but it's winter, that's to be expected. She went on to say, the media is making up all sorts of stories, particular western media.
If she were to say any different it would be a death sentence... what do you expect...555

So the mere fact that one immigration office or another plays by another set of rules shouldn't preclude that there are requirements needed by that office...

Go to Wise.com... use the comparative analysis tool that they provide to determine which money transfer company provides the best option for you... right now Moneygram is most favorable for USD to THB.

Doesn't matter if the hotels do TM30 or not.
You are not changing your address.
Do nothing.
Yes... do nothing... then when you try to do your 90 day report you will get a notice that it is being rejected... Contact immigration to update the (TM30) accommodation notification to date. The last declaration of accommodation at _________________ not Chiang Mai.

"Lol! Similar analysis on Fox News!"
Always with the <deleted> "whataboutism"... I am not necessarily a proponent of Fox news or any of the talking heads for that matter... try to understand that one's actions are not justified by nor are they relative to another's

And you're taking a big chance on reliability with a Chinese vehicle, re: MG.
Every car manufacturer produces lemons on occasion... from Mercedes to BMWs to Chevies... and yes MG does as well... be cautious of painting with broad strokes... it show's ignorance.
PS... I have an MG HS i-smart SUV and it is one of the best cars that I have ever driven...
