Well, as a farang your kids should be better educated in a private school. However, I see many fathering young girls and not being able to give the kids adaquate education as they got (hopefully) because of lack of money. As I realised the education in private schools is relatively good when it comes to English or Maths or science.

I'm more on the optimistic side. I realised University's students speak English a bit, at least are able to read. If doing research on internet many abstracts eg are in English. But I admit it's a longer way to go. Sometimes it comes to my mind what might be the percentage of Thai speaking farangs. Or how many people in UK or US speak another language?

Friendly relations are ok. But Russia is in an aggressive, brutal, barbarian war invading Ukraine killing civilians. I doubt it's a good decision to let them visit Thailand.

Another tragic accident. Another 2 young lives extinguished by a reckless driver. However, it was early morning, the danger of getting involved in a fatal accident here in Thailand is very high. There are people driving on the roads not able to perform in an appropriate way. Too fast, too much alcohol or other drugs, or just too tired to drive properly. For those who come here for holidays I got an advice: don't use a motorbike but rent a car or use public transport.
