I only hang out with Thais making 100k a month. Yes, that is about 0.0001 of the population. I came here for the weather and to relax, not wonder about calculus and existentialism while mapping out non-Euclidean graphs of dark matter. The language in Thailand is money. English means bank. Learn English to get rich, then retire and dabble ina few Krap krap sawastee (transliteration at its worst). My Thai is intermediate, but only out of boredom, not necessary.

8 years, met TWO fluent English speakers born in Thailand. I've talked with about 30 doctors in hospitals, and some have told me their English is "advanced." It was equivalent to a 5-year old. I would guess there is a 90% chance any urologist you meet will have only a very, very basic understanding of English. Deep in water buffalo country? 99.99999999999999999999999999999999% almost zero, besides the same ridiculous phrases, etc. "significant".................yea, you are asking way too much. Others will say I'm wrong, that's fine. I've known about 300 Thai English "teachers," and not one was even remotely close to anything resembling a "significant" understand of the ABC's. lol.

Ah......I can't deal with 10,000 ChiangMai vloggers who thinks they found the best coffee shop or hotel room or waterfall or tourist spot..........Yes, I watched a few, went mad, now never again....it's just unrealistic, lying <deleted>......of course, they won't ever say anything negative, so their value goes to zero........it's not honest stuff. i am jealous that MateNate guy is super rich. yes. i don't watch his stuff. I like one fat Thai guy who does food blogs......I'll watch one video every few months. YouTube, for me, is for sports, my passions (not tourist stuff), a take on current events when I'm bored for some biased reporting, music videos, music, and movie trailers.

No luck in selling, but BUYING on Facebook marketplace has been 99% positive. It's nice that Thais (IMO once you recognize a legit seller) really keep used stuff in pristine condition. I've been buying stuff there for about 5 years, only one item DOA and was offered a refund. I would try to sell there first. you will get the jokers who want a 10,000 item for 3000....but that's everywhere. my suggestion.

Canada isn’t even in the top 100 most dangerous countries on every list I found. I guess it’s because they speak English we are reading about it. Make sure you fact check, the documentary did miss some things and a different ending in real life with all those tourists. With that said, give him 10000000 years in prison. Similar death a few years ago to a 21 year old girl, but it never made TVF. Fell, head crushed, and her friends were numb with hopelessness. This is Thailand, where cars are too expensive if you are in school or work for 10000 a month. In America, I probably owned and sold over 10 cars, never a motorcycle. Got older, bought an SUV. Not easy to in Thailand for most, but they have to travel. Sad endless loop of deaths.

It’s partly a business, if partly means 99 percent 400k to save money in Thailand on marriage visa. if in farangland, you might be a little happier but spend millions more. sinsot is ok at the right number. since no guarantees and you can lose it all in a second…. go the 800k retirement route instead.
