I worked at both Regent's and St Andrew's. If you weren't an absolute top drawer, qualified teacher, you were shown the exit. Again, they pay their teachers a very good wage AND can fail students who don't perform.
Sure, private schools that are effectively paid to hold students back.
How does this remote relate to hundreds of poor public schools holding backtens of thousands of poor students that had received a poor education?

Unless they, parents alcoholic or religious, allergic I never trust people that don't drink. It's anti social. Nothing worse than mid life crisis exercise and bland diets freaks - especially living here which is totally ironic as well.

Reading your screed - I'm not in total disagreement but you obviously have worked, are working in some sad schools. There are better... adminstrations, facilities, students and yes, teachers.
Failing students is simply not possible the school can't house them not can parents afford to have children not move on with their lives as well.
If the teaching is poor and thereby assessment is poor, lessons poor as you rightly state why should the student be held back to endure same misery.
The foreign teachers are just as bad as the Thai.
I'm a licensed teacher with ten years experience in Thailand. I also hold a teriary license in US.

See if going without water is a better idea.
IMO the wars of the future in Africa will be about water. Check out what is happening on the Nile.
Absolutely ridiculous. False dilemma.
Fact is currently the world doesn't need desalination plants and only doomsday cult countries have such needs and funds (Israel). I'm not saying there won't be some time in the future...
Egypt is a total mess whatever you are directing my attention to.
Africa, perhaps. Why not? Mineral wealth to be exploited. Central Asia - O&G.

No reason for lack of water in any western country. Just desalinate as much sea water as wanted.
Of course, if they wasted the money on things they should not have been spending money on they may not be able to afford the infrastructure, but that's a political problem.
Desalination is very expensive. Been around forever and still not widely used. This is no solution to anything. Additional unbenefit of appearing woke.
Water wars have been on horizon for decades.

Ah yes, the world is going to hell and a moon base at a cost of trillions of $ is just what we need. Party on.
70B for another lost war in Ukraine. We are now in last phase of current rules based order. The wealthy are now circling wagons.
One day it will all just seize up like a decade ago although this time there can't be similar bankster mmt applied, inflation will double and everyone shy of a few million dollars will be screwed for the balance of their lives, children..

These polls are an absolute laff. 99% population have the political acumen of a turnip.
Here in paranoid Thailand they think nuclear war is more probable than UKRAINE. Please note additional countries that have filled their populations with paranoia and lies.
The real and immediate problem will be to keep ones head above water when things fall apart this year and beyond.

Im quite surprised none checked the shopping mall or marked. I have been approached so many times by girls in shopping malls around Thailand, either by a group of girls or just a girl out with mom or an older auntie. Some excuse themselves and ask if they can talk to me so they can practice their english as their opening line, except from where do you come from, and next do you have a gf?
Definitely not central Bangkok ????

Have you loaded extensions that slow the connection? Save the bookmarks and delete the program. Reload

I don't think there is any organized scam. There must be millions of pictures out there from units which were once for rent or sale. Just copy them, done.
It's also funny that sometime on the same site the same pictures are used for different units with different sizes, etc.
Yes, some have taken to watermarking. Or the ones that just have pictures of the condo exterior haha.
The reason I think it's a scam is that various RE companies operating same way. Wife messages in line, condo discussed no info, everything goes dead for a day or two - then *agent* appears she has no idea.. checking.. oh, full, oh, renovation poof gone. Same story all companies

But I don't think that one, or any other, is good for searching individual now available units. It seems they are all full of units which were rented out or sold long ago.
I think the best way to use these sites/databases is to search buildings in a specific area, price range, etc. And then go to these buildings and get personally up to date information in that building.
Here's the alleged scam.
Fictitious ads created for rentals to bait and switch. Use your imagination which sites 555.
Often, imo the condo never even existed as a rental. It's all run by a few large IT scamsters and then they pass contacts onto agents. The agent apologies and says it's full but offers to help you find another or aid in search.
I'll just go to the condos

I had never previously shown a 90 day report receipt at CW for extension retirement.
My most recent extension (Nov last year) I had to deal with document check even though I had appointment.
Anyway the first thing that I was asked for was my receipt of TM 47.
My comments that "no not required" ignored.
BTW the io for extension put it with all the docs provided.
Fortunately I had it in my "spare kitchen sink" folder and was able to provide it.
What do you mean by latest report.
"Do I need to have the latest 90 day report complete before getting my extension stamp?"
Just take your most recent receipt TM47.
BTW online appointment for extension works a treat.
I'm due for my 90 day report. Since I'm already up there to grab my extension I thought that I would just do the report there as well.
My question was whether I will need the 90 day report updated to the best of its ability when I pick up my extension. Now that I think about it I don't recall ever giving them the but I very well might have just to avoid questions.
I want to continue to do this in person until we change condo and then I'll try the new and improved online service but looking ahead and trying to avoid problems

You will not need to do a 90 day report unless it is due.
It's due. That's why I had asked. ???? I will be in CW during the 15 day widow prior by about a week.

So your not a motorbike enthusiast I presume. Don't knock it if you have never ridden a bike, and no I am not talking about the dodo birds who have never ridden, jump on one here while on vacation and then do not wear a helmet, those are the idiots.
Driving a car or riding in one can also put you in a wheelchair or in a bed, seem many of them during a 30+ year in law enforcement doing traffic accident investigations. Everyone is just 1 foot out of the grave every day, and yet you think you are bullet proof if you don't ride a motorbike, better think again.
Actually, I have ridden and owned motorcycles. Never would I ride one here and I got my wife off hers as well.
Dying on a bike is sop. I've known three men now deceased. The thing is it's often not the bikers fault especially here.
Dead right I suppose

Wasn't the insurance from Lloyd's Bank?
Yes, to be honest I obviously didn't read the article and just made an assumption he bought a cheap policy when he was signing up for his rent a bike.
But these sorts of trip insurance policies are next to worthless as well. Whenever we buy such policies to go to the United States I always hold my nose and hand over the money but know that they're pretty much worthless

Another Darwin award really.
Do you like your life? Fancy not living the rest of it in a wheelchair or perhaps in a bed? Stay off motorcycles.

So, basically Thai insurance is worthless. There we go. It's funny, the legions of insurance addicts that will pontificate mercilessly about holding policy. Thai insurance is worthless save for SSO.

Do I need to have the latest 90 day report complete before getting my extension stamp?
I'll pull two tickets and monitor each queue but if I must have the 90 day before I get the stamp then this strategy won't do me much good.
As we are thinking about changing condos I will probably hold off on doing the report online.
Thanks

Our lease is currently in her name, Immigration hasn't made too much fuss but did want it in mine. I think it's better in hers for a variety of reasons. Will pick up next extension in a few days.

If you read the Act, you'd be aware who is responsible for filing a TM30, and it's not the responsibility of your wife as you suggested.
Oh, you again. I sincerely hope you were a lawyer in your past life.
I never stated it was my wife's responsibility nor even suggested it. Guess you're not a lawyer just pedantic.
I simply was looking for an easy option for a hesitant landlord I might encounter.
You're now on ignore.

Nothing wrong with going out for coffee too and maybe a woman for ice cream as well.
Men have been congrating over drinks since forever. Probably not long after we learned to make fire. Add some naked women dancing around the fire and BAM you had your first beer garden with nekkid maidens.
Or, go drink soy
