  1. Looks like Trudeau or Freeland have to give personal approval for every Canadian fleeing that woke failed state...
  2. @megapix - Thanks for this report, quite helpful overview of the requirements for anyone wanting to apply for the 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Marriage Visa at the Savannakhet consulate. One comment > With 'signed copy of Marriage certificate' you most probably refer to the Kor-Ror-2 (Marriage registry) which you can get an ANY Thai amphur for 10 to 50,- THB and which is an extract from the Thai national marriage register, providing evidence that you are STILL married to your wife. Note that you also would need to bring the ORIGINAL marriage certificate when applying in Savannakhet.
  3. ~ You wrote that you have a 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Marriage Visa. Such Visa allows you to enter/exit Thailand as many times as you want to during the 1-year validity of the Visa. On each entry you will receive a 90-days Permission to stay. The huge advantage of such Me Non Imm O Visa is that you would NEVER have to visit a Thai Imm Office when exiting the country before the 90-days Permission to Stay expires (and then re-entering providing you with a new 90-day Permission to stay). Also, since you never stay longer than 90 days in the country the 90-day reporting requirement does not apply to you. > Note that if you do not like the 3-monthly border-hops that you can apply for a 1-year extension of stay at your local Imm Office. However, that's a lengthy bureaucratic exercise with a truckload of required documents that you need to provide (including proof of funds on a Thai bank-account seasoned for more than 2 months at moment of application for the 1-year extension). On top of that you would then be required to do your 90-day reports. All in all, if doing the border-hops every 3 months is not too inconvenient for you it would be far easier to simply use your 1-year ME Non Imm O Visa (which allows you a max of 15 months trouble-free stay in Thailand). And of course once the Visa expired, you can during your last 90-day Permission to stay do the trip to Savannakhet again and apply for a new 1-year ME Non Imm O Marriage Visa. But be aware that since a couple of weeks the Savannakhet consulate now requires you to provide evidence of having 400.000 THB on a Thai bank-account for a 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa.
  4. ~ You are correct that 'you are supposed to ensure that a TM30 notification has been done'. But if you are exiting/re-entering Thailand every time before the expiry of the 90-day Permission to stay from your 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa, there is no reason for you to ever visit an Immigration Office. So in such case - to avoid the rare possibility of being asked to show the TM-30 during a raid - simply ask your landlord/owner of the place where you are staying, for a copy of the TM-30, as he is required by Thai law to notify local Immigration that a foreigner is staying at his premises. Note: The problem when staying on another type Visa, and you want to apply for an extension or need a residence certificate, is that YOU need to visit Immigration and they will decline to provide you with a service when the TM-30 requirement has not been met. And you can even get fined when it was not done, when your landlord did not do the notification.
  5. "A BMJ investigation has raised concerns that the VAERS system isn’t operating as intended and that signals are being missed." ... "VAERS is supposed to be user friendly, responsive, and transparent. However, investigations by The BMJ have uncovered that it’s not meeting its own standards. Not only have staffing levels failed to keep pace with the unprecedented number of reports since the rollout of covid vaccines but there are signs that the system is overwhelmed, reports aren’t being followed up, and signals are being missed. The BMJ has spoken to more than a dozen people, including physicians and a state medical examiner, who have filed VAERS reports of a serious nature on behalf of themselves or patients and were never contacted by clinical reviewers or were contacted months later. Our investigation has also found that, in stark contrast to the US government’s handling of adverse reaction reports on drugs and devices, the publicly accessible VAERS database on vaccines includes only initial reports, while case updates and corrections are kept on a separate, back end system. Officials told The BMJ that this was to protect patient confidentiality—but this means that patients, doctors, and other public users of the database have access only to an incomplete and uncorrected version." 6. ~ You won't find what you are not looking for...
  7. Yahoo News features the story of Jamie Scott and his wife Katie: "He is now a test case; the first person to lodge a claim for damages against AstraZeneca in a landmark legal action that – should he win – could pave the way for hundreds of claims and damages that will run into the tens, if not hundreds, of millions." ... "A little over two years ago – on April 23 2021 – Jamie did what so many other Britons did." ... There had been warnings starting to emerge of possible blood clots associated with the vaccine – two weeks before Jamie had the jab, the UK had stopped giving the AstraZeneca vaccine to the under-30s. But Jamie had wanted to do his bit and get vaccinated so he and the children could visit his elderly father. He wasn’t having the jab for himself. For a man his age and in excellent health, Covid-19 posed little threat. The AstraZeneca vaccine proved to be near fatal. Source: https://news.yahoo.com/were-told-vaccine-safe-happened-170000679.html
  8. ~ So by honorably retiring his crimes have been white-washed? Pathetic! ... and you know it.
  9. ~ Yep, and that was BEFORE the new evidence turned up. See the relevant paragraph in the Newsweek report: Last month, Paul said during an interview with Fox Business: "We now have emails that show [Fauci] saying that he knows it was gain-of-function, that the virus looked manipulated, and that he was worried that this came from the Wuhan lab...This is a bombshell revelation, and this will eventually bring down Anthony Fauci."
  10. ~ Obviously, Senator Paul is attacking Fauci as Fauci is a serial-liar and lied on many covid-19 and vaccine related issues. But the evidence on Fauci's lies while providing testimony under oath to congress, will hopefully result in his downfall.
  11. The topic is about a US Senator providing evidence that the 'good doctor' Fauci LIED to congress. You will have to do better to 'debunk' this story.
  12. "Senator Rand Paul is still aiming to take down Dr. Anthony Fauci — or have a new law passed to regulate gain-of-function research. ... "He lied to Congress, that's a felony," Paul said while speaking about Fauci. "I've referred him for prosecution, and [Attorney General] Merrick Garland has responded saying he got our letter, but there's been no investigation as we know of. ... 13. When entering Thailand on a Non Imm O-A Visa you also need to show the documents that you have a Non Imm O-A compliant Health-Insurance policy, You will then be stamped in for either - 12 months (as the Non Imm O-A Visa entitles you to) OR - the expiry date of that Non Imm O-A Health Insurance policy, whichever is shortest.
  14. When you have a MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa, you receive a 90-day Permission to stay when entering Thailand. And if you exit Thailand every 3 months (before expiry of that Permission to stay) and then return you will receive once again a 90-day Permission to stay. When doing that there is no need to visit an Imm Office to file a TM-30 nor to do 90-day reports (as you never stay longer than 90 days in the country).
  15. ~ Thanks. Visiting the Kun Ming mountains in Yunnan province (closest Chinese province to Thailand) would have been nice. I always had some reservations about visiting China due to its totalitarian reflexes, but mandatory swabs on arrival for 'health' are a definite non-no for me.
  16. ~ Thanks for sharing your personal experience. Two questions: 1 - Was this testing conducted at Suvarnabhumi airport or at Shanghai airport? 2 - Was the testing voluntary or mandatory, and if mandatory were there any reasons for singling you out?
  17. No, that doesn't make sense. As a foreigner you cannot stay long-term in Thailand without ever needing a service from an Immigration Office, and the Imm Office will require proof of your address in their province before providing any service. Note: The only way of staying long-term in Thailand without every visiting an Imm Office, would be on a 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa, and exiting/re-entering Thailand every 3 months (before expiry of the 90-day Permission to stay such Visa provides you).
  18. ~ Might have missed it, but I didn't come across any articles in major Newspapers announcing this program of testing international air traveler samples to include flu, RSV, and other respiratory viruses.
  19. ~ You know full well that according to AseanNow's Community Standards that one should limit the quotes from an article to max 3 paragraphs, so I opted for the 3 most relevant ones to provide the jist of the article.
  20. As others already remarked, if the owner/landlord is not willing to put his name on the rental agreement, such rental agreement will almost certainly not be accepted by local Immigration as proof of your address, and your application for an Immigration service like a 90-day Non Imm O Visa or an extension of your current Visa wlll be rejected.
  21. Three days ago the CDC quietly released a statement announcing the start of its Traveler-based Genomic Surveillance program. While the program was first introduced during the pandemic specifically to screen for COVID-19, this announcement from the CDC informs us that it are now expanding the program to test for other viruses as well. “The expansion of the Traveler-based Genomic Surveillance program to flu, RSV, and other pathogens is essential as we head into fall respiratory season. The TGS program, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic, acted as an early warning system to detect new and rare variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and will do the same for other respiratory viruses going forward,” said Dr. Cindy Friedman, chief of CDC’s Travelers’ Health Branch. In total, the program has been expanded to screen for over 30 different pathogens. According to the CDC, the way that this program will be implemented in airports across the country will be three-fold: - it will involve taking nasal swabs of arriving passengers, - testing the aircraft wastewater, and - testing samples of the wastewater in seven major airports. 22. The problem is not so much the length of the 'under consideration' period, but the fact that you need to be available at short-notice for the possible home-visit, making domestic trips during that period somewhat risky. Of course one could contact the Imm Office and ask for their permission to be not available for home-visit during a limited period while under consideration.
  23. Just for info that there is some possible conflicting information here. You wrote that 'the 30 days under consideration period starts on the day the current permission to stay ends.' But @steve187 wrote that 'some offices do the 30 day period from the date of application as does mine, but others start the 30 days from expiry of old permission to stay stamp'. > In the latter case - like at my friends KhonKaen Imm Office - it would be inconvient to do your application early, as you need to be available at short notice for the home-visit during the under consideration period (limiting domestic travel to close-by destinations. Note: My friend is living far away from BKK, but is starting up a business there, but the required short-notice availability during the under consideration period prevents him from going there as he cannot make it back to his home-address in less than 8 hours.
  24. That's not what the Imm Officer told him when my friend applied 3 weeks before the Permission to stay expiry. According to the Imm Officer he is 'home-bound' from date of application till 30 days after Permission to stay expiry date, which in his case is a 7 week period (3 weeks before Permission to stay due date + 30 days for come back-date after that due date) I am simply repeating what my friend told me, but thanks for response.
  25. ~ The 70-day homebound is of course a mistake by me > I meant '7 weeks home-bound' as he applied more than 2.5 week before his Permission to stay expiry date, and his come-back date was put 30 days after that Permission to stay expiry date. And it is thus much more than 'a few days waiting for the home visit', as the Imm Officer explicitly told him that he could not make any trips abroad during that 7-week period nor any longer domestic trips as he has to be at his home 'within a couple of hours' in case the Imm Office would call him for the home-visit.
