  1. Moderna Stock Looks Sick; Here's How To Take Advantage With Options Moderna (MRNA) stock has bounced off its 52-week low but still looks incredibly weak and that could provide an opportunity for a bearish option play. According to the IBD Stock Checkup, Moderna stock is ranked No. 165 in its group and has awful ratings. It has a Composite Rating of 6, an EPS Rating of 4 and a Relative Strength Rating of 9. 2. It's recommended that OP proceeds as follows: #1 - Contacting his local Imm Office, explaining the situation that he needs to fly overseas on 22nd of December and requesting whether it would be possible for his local Imm Office to do the 'home-visit' prior to his leave on 22nd December #2 - Buy a re-entry Permit although that will only be granted till 28th of December as he is currently already 'under consideration' #3 - Re-enter Thailand with that Re-Entry Permit prior to 28th of December (and ensure that he is stamped in again for that 28 Dec Permission to stay and NOT that the Imm Officer would grant him a 30-day Permission to stay which would invalidate the 28 Dec Permission to stay and the Non Imm O Marriage Visa on which it is based) #4 - Once in Thailand again, go to his local Imm Office latest 28th of December to have the 1-year Permission to stay stamped in his passport. Note that if OPs overseas business would not make it possible or very inconvenient to return by 28th of December, that he should enquire during his contact with local Imm Office (point #1) whether it would be allowed to come for the 1-year Permission to stay stamp at a later date than 28th of December, and if so how much 'grace period' he has for that. And if he would not be able to meet the 18th December return-date nor the maximum grace period that his local Imm Office might provide him, then it is very unfortunate for him, but he then would have to start the whole process of applying for a 90-day Non Imm O Marriage Visa and subsequent 1-year extensions from scratch again.
  3. My most precious stamp, is the Thai Immigration one in my passport confirming my 1-year extension of stay...
  4. ~ This is only one of the many court-cases against Pfizer (as well as Moderna) that are in the making or already underway/ongoing. There is a reason that the share-value of both companies is now way lower than before the pandemic, and this despite the fact that both made billions of $ with their covid-19 vax contracts to governments. The financial markets are not so confident as you seem to be, that both companies will survive the outcome of these court-cases. Imo they deserve to both go bankrupt and the culpable serving long jail-sentences with all their ill-gained profits confiscated.
  5. ~ This thread is not about Ken Paxton's legal troubles, but about Pfizer being sued by the Texas Attorney General for 1 - unlawfully misrepresenting the effectiveness of the company’s COVID-19 vaccine and 2 - attempting to censor public discussion of the product. Do remain on topic instead of deflecting.
  6. The 54 (!) page plaintiff petition provided to the Honorable District Judge for his consideration is not the usual legal mumbo-jumbo but is a truly awesome and easily readable factual and evidence-based overview of Pfizer misrepresenting the efficacy of its product. Here is the link (a PDF download) > https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/sites/default/files/images/press/Pfizer Vaccine Petition Filed.pdf.
  7. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has sued Pfizer, Inc., for unlawfully misrepresenting the effectiveness of the company’s COVID-19 vaccine and attempting to censor public discussion of the product. Pfizer engaged in false, deceptive, and misleading acts and practices by making unsupported claims regarding the company’s COVID-19 vaccine in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. The pharmaceutical company's widespread representation that its vaccine possessed 95% efficacy against infection was highly misleading. That metric represented a calculation of the so-called “relative risk reduction” for vaccinated individuals in Pfizer’s initial, two-month clinical trial results. 8. ~ Christianity is one of the cornerstones of Western esoteric tradition. So I actually do recommend reading the Bible and getting acquainted with its content. Especially the New Testament and the Book of Genesis contain pearls of knowledge and wisdom. But of course 'reading the Bible' should not be to the exclusion of any other sources of spirituality, as the message in all religions and spiritual sources is universal. And most certainly one should not treat the Bible texts as Dogma or the One and Only Truth.
  9. Turning your 1-year marriage extension down because the Kor-Ror-2 (extract from the Thai national marriage register providing evidence that you are still married and have not divorced) is 1 day old instead of being issued on same day as your application, is total bureaucratic nonsense by clueless Immigration officers. And as your Thai wife has to be with you when applying for the 1-year Marriage extension, makes it even more laughable. Luckily most Imm Offices allow that the Kor-Ror-2 was issued 'recently' (depending on the office that being 1 week to 1 month).
  10. ~ There are none more blind than those that refuse to see, and instead of using their own eyes and thinking skills, uncritically accept and parrot what they are being told...
  11. ~ Re the relevance of my last 2 points: # When officially married to a Thai national you are ALWAYS eligible for a 60-day extension of stay, irrespective of whether you entered Thailand VisaExempt, on a Tourist Visa or on a Non Imm O or O-A Visa. # Depending on the length of the 'several' months a 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa for reason of retirement might be a good option, hence the age question (you need to be 50 years of age to be eligible).
  12. @OP - Do provide some more details, in order to allow us to provide you with all possible options. Specifically: # How many months approx do you plan to stay in Thailand? # What is your nationality? # What is your age? # Are you officially married to a Thai national?
  13. Every entry into Thailand on a still valid 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa (like the one you have which is valid till Dec 23) you will be provided by Thai border-immigration with a 90-day Permission to stay in your passport. There is no difference in how you enter Thailand, be it by land, air or sea. Your local Imm Office is never confronted with entries on a 1-year ME Non Imm O Visa, and it seems they are clueless about it. But that doesn't matter as it is Thai border-immigration that will stamp you in and they are well aware that entering on a still valid 1-year ME Non Imm O Visa entitles you to a 90-day Permission to stay. Entering on Dec 21 will provide you with a Permission to stay till March 20, 2024. So no need to change your March 14 flight-date, when re-entering Thailand during the Dec 15 - Dec 23 window with your 1-year ME Non Imm O Visa.
  14. ~ Thanks for your kind words, and glad to hear that your application went smooth!
  15. ~ So that means that 88,2 % of the US population did NOT opt for that latest booster shot. I can think of a couple reasons why...
  16. ~ The knowledge, beliefs and values of the Na’vi are most akin to those of the native American Indian tribes. Check out the wisdom of Chief Seattle (as well as many other native American Indian chiefs). Chief Seattle or Sealth (Lushootseed: siʔaɬ) (c. 1786 – June 7, 1866) was a leader of the Suquamish and Duwamish Native American tribes in what is now Washington state. One of his most famous quotes reads: The Earth does not belong to us: we belong to the Earth. There is no death, only a change of worlds.
  17. Reminds me of Frank Zappa, who had a somewhat similar problem with a girl named Dora... Kiss my aura, Dora It's real angora Would y'all like some more-a? Right here on the flora? An' how 'bout you, Fauna? < Dyna Moe Hum, featured on Zappa's Overnite Sensation album >
  18. ~ I presume that you have a 1-year MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa (a SingleEntry one is only valid for 90 days, and hence the expiry date of such SE Visa would be before 4 March). Wity your MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa, you can apply any time before ts expiry for a 1-year extension of stay at your local Imm Office. Be aware that the first 1-year extension of a Non Imm O Visa must be for the SAME reason (i.e. retirement or marriage) as the original Visa. And the requirements for such 1-year extension will be applicable, meaning that for an extension for reason of retirement, you would need to provide evidence of having met the financial requirements during the 12 months preceding your application. For an extension for reason of marriage, you would need to provide evidence of 400.000,- THB on a personal Thai bank-account seasoned at least 2 months at moment of application (I don't know for sure what period would be required in such case when making use of the income method, but presume it will be 3 monthly income transfers of +40.000 THB). = = = Alternatively you could exit Thailand just before expiry of your current ME Non Imm O Visa, and then return VisaExempt which will provide you with a 30-day Permission to stay. And you could then based on that VisaExempt entry apply for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa at your local Imm Office. That needs to be done when you still have at least 15 days left on that 30-day Permission to stay from the VisaExempt entry (note that at ChiangMai they require 21 days left, and in Phuket they require 15 business days). = = = When considering one of those alternatives it is recommended to visit your local Imm Office and ask about their requirements for either the 1-year extension, or the 90-day Non Imm O Visa application. This because every Thai Imm Office has different requirements and that you would not encounter any surprises when doing the actual application.
  19. ~ Fine and will sent you a PM tomorrow with my going-ons. Godspeed!

  25. To summarize > In your case 3 options are open. 1 - First applying for the 60-day extension of stay for reason of visiting your wife, and then applying for the 1-year extension of your Non Imm O-A Visa. Which on first application needs to be done for reason of retirement (and requires a Non Imm O-A compliant health-insurance policy issued by a Thai TGIA-associated insurer). 2 - You can do a border-run on the last day of your current Permission to stay and after returning VisaExempt, then apply for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa for reason of retirement or for reason of Marriage. As the window to do that is very short, you could of course also on return first apply for a regular 30-day extension of stay, which would give you ample time to then prepare for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa application. > Since you already have transferred the +800K to your personal Thai bank-account, I would recommend doing the border-run and then apply for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa for reason of retirement. Having done this, you have effectively gotten rid of the dreaded Thai health-insurance requirement which is connected to Non Imm O-A extensions for reason of retirement.
