"If you are stroking wood in the hopes of a trial before the election, its not going to happen." English. If: "a supposition; uncertain possibility": I love the way you argue about stuff you dont know in a language you dont understand either. -
Stay in hotel/condo, what with TM30?
Yagoda replied to Confuscious's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
TM30s mean nothing unless you seek an extension of stay -

Well if you were familiar with the US system of justice, you would know that, to quote the boilerplate, the case is back to Judge Chutkan for "further proceedings in accordance with th[e] opinion.' If you are stroking wood in the hopes of a trial before the election, its not going to happen. -

And perhaps, since you have already confessed your ignorance, your reliance in the views of others, and your lack of interest in learning about the subject you seek to expound on, you should refrain from continuing to add nothing to the discussion except baseless ad hominems. -

Hes a Frenchman, he knows nothing of the our system and grew up in under the French style fascism of socialism system. Hell, how many governments have they gone though since 1789? Off with their head and Alfred Dreyfuss is their system of justice. Yet he is going to explain to us the effect of the Supreme Courts decision. Say what you want about Trump and the USA, but unlike across the pond, we don't line folks up at the scaffold for their political views. Thats why you see so many calls for lawfare against Trump from that lot. -
Or alternatively, it could be you who lack experience and a certain aspect or type of intelligence that might make you realize that Fox and Trump are setting forth policies that are in tune with the US electorate and that the attacks on Trump, and Fox, and their voters are based on lies and hoaxes and abuse of the system, and that further, that Biden and the Dems do not have the interests of the American people at heart.

Well Im not the one making snide comments about a complex US political/legal subject like "fake" electors when I dont live in the USA, dont have an American education, was raised in a different legal system, and live under a different political system. But, looks like you guys will have your own Trump soon.

What is Arab Street in Bangkok?
Yagoda replied to Conan The Barbarian's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Some good food down there. I have had some great biryanis and schwarmas. Pastries too. The kid on the corner of Soi Arab and sukhumvit has some good weed, ask him. Tell him his friend from Cambodia recommended. Im blatantly American, I get a few looks but its no big deal. I wish the Bamboo would get a Russian chef again, no more uzbek bread or plov -
Well hes not American and surely doesnt know what an elector even is. There are Americans who dont know.

You have no idea as to the facts other than what you read in your media bubble, nor do you have the legal knowledge to comment on electors, so why would you make such a silly comment?

What has happened to Wise Transfers lately

US Banks. The scummiest part is that they pull the money out of your account and *poof* it disapears in a few days. -
My go backpack when living in a natural disaster (earthquake) area was: 1. Glock 19, 4 mags, 300 rounds 2. Colt M4, 4 mags, 300 rounds 3. Svea 123R stove 4. Extra Fuel bottle. 5. Two weeks MREs and 60 days meds 6. Pro First Aid Kit (scalpels, sutures, morphine, etc) 7. Illumination Device 8. Paracord 9. Firestarter 10. Water filter 11. Glock entrenching tool 12. Glock field knife 13. Flexible saw Now I just grab wallet, phone and passport and hope someone else is prepared.

Yeah. When did it arrive.? Mine is yesterday to Monday. And Im not the only one. -
Bangkok is an assault on the senses. So much more fun that the mundane sterile USA or Hicksville Cambodia. I live 7km from Angkor Wat. So I can wake and bake at sunrise over Angkor, look at some monkeys then catch the Air Asia shuttle to Bangkok to wallow in the steaming and moist fleshpots like the loathsome freak I am. Then, once my filthy appetites are sated, I ride back to the sticks where I cruise around in my Tuk Tuk smoking weed like a King to tarp roofed villages and backpacker bars. Great weed $1-3 a gram. Cheap beer. Insanely good food everywhere, even in Cambodia outside of their ethnic watery bland peasant food. Beaches, monkeys, bar girls, rotting garbage, boats, flowers, smiling people, gorgeous art, strange spirits, weird people and customs, giant Ganeshas and shrines, go go girls and the great smashburgers at Nana Burger. Where else would anyone want to go but here is SE Asia. No matter where you are, there is something cool

This probably should be a separate thread, but, was on the phone with some call center dude from Wise for almost an hour. Bottom line: with no notice, there are no instant transfers into your anymore unless you use your card or Wire, at a higher fee. So there is no standing in front of the ATM outside Nana with an empty Thai bank account trying to feed your Wise card for some barfine cash. Planning, I reckon. -
