    You are right. But living in Bangkok or Chiang Mai with someone you hate is worse. I'm yet to discover the perfect city. So you have to make choices. Love or more activities.

    Then you are living your dream. Do what you like, not what others like. I respect that. I like Sukhumvit but living there wouldn't suit me. I like peace and nature. Seeing poor people in Isaan isn't so much depressing. I see it as an opportunity to appreciate simple living.

    Some markets get major artists singing. Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen do. Saw one of Thailand's biggest artists. Went to a restaurant with live rock band and good food. This is better than 77 repeats of Dreamy leaks oil.

    I prefer the north or coastal. Isaan has appeal though in some towns. I liked Nakhon Si Thammarat more than I thought.

    20 to 40yos enjoy nightlife and night markets. All the main cities have that. Doyle shows none of that. Don't know what he was doing at night. Udon has some large restaurants with singing and rooftop bar. Why wouldn't you show that?

    He is 36 or 38. Not so young. 33% talking about "Dreamy" and 50% on a dinoaur museum isnt going to win the younger crowds.

    Not for me. Never been sick eating local food.

    There is a very good temple near the museum he missed with views. Ran out of time. Had to talk for 10 minutes about Dreamy.

    In Khon Kaen he showed zero nightlife or night market. Spends 33% talking about his bike problems or having stomach issues. How about showing us a music bar or the live music at the night market. Or perhaps a good hotel with pool under 800 baht. Or a temple outside town with no tourists followed by a good local restaurant.

    Paddy spent 4 or 5 days in each province on a scooter. I went to some of the same places and covered more things in 2 or 3 days in a car. Have a look at his Kalasin video. 50% is on the dinosaur museum.

    On a scooter riding 200km a day. Terrible idea. Doyle cannot even pronounce the town names correctly. He also said Hat Yai and Songkhla were awesome - his new favourite cities. Every 2nd city is his new favourite. In one video he said he wanted to move to Khon Kaen. Then he wanted to move to Hat Yai or Songkhla. He also rates Samui highly. These vloggers are full of it.

    I find that hard to believe. The towns are totally different and the plane ticket says the destination. Like saying I went to Pattaya and thought I was in Bangkok.

    If looking for a good town write down your top 5 interests then match with suitable options. Say food, western or Thai or regional Beaches or mountains Quiet or busy city Road trips nearby Other activities

    Totally agree. I like Nong Khai but think That Phanom is lame. Each town is different.

    The Phitsanulok/Phetchabun/Loei region offers a lot for nature lovers.

    What is an interesting bar? 240 baht for a beer to look at some pretty decorations whilst pretending to like some citrus flavoured beer that tastes like washing up liquid.

    Caves and beaches in Sukhumvit now? Mountain views? It has loads of cars and people. You must love busy. I find Sukhumvit fun for 3 days. Like Patong. 3 days I'm done. Top fun. Time to leave.
