I was thinking of that, I'm assuming a tourist visa is granted after 5-10 days and let's me get back in faster.

I arrived in March 2023 and after the initial visa waiver got an ED visa for one year. I was going to renew it but since Thailand changed the rules on visa waivers I decided to use these as long as possible. I did two visa waiver runs to Laos and flew to Germany once and again got a visa waiver. As the extension expired on the 15th I flew to Malaysia for 2 days. But after arrival in Chiang Mai a young lady from immigration called her boss over. As I'd stayed in Thailand 1 year and 7 months they said I'm not a tourist so he's refusing the visa waiver. Bizarrely he said I should fly back to Malaysia and apply for a tourist visa. I refused to sign the expulsion order but of course it made no difference. What is my best option here, apply for a tourist visa, go back in and then apply for the DTV? Can an EU national apply for a tourist visa in Malaysia? And if I get it could Chiang Mai immigration then not make the same argument that due to living there 19 months I'm not real tourist and deny entry despite a valid tourist visa?

Actually looks like there's a good chance I can hook up with plane girl anyway, let's call her Sophie. I had the good sense to get her Insta details and we've been talking all day today. As it's only two days from her break up the wound is still raw. The Thai guy and her are still texting. She said he told her he enjoys life without her more. This of course only has her convinced she loves him more. Hence when I offered her to come visit me and forget about the past she said I'd have to speak to her father cause she still lives at home. Of course I will, no problem. But we agreed she'll have to let things settle unless her father thinks she just sleeps around. It suits me though to wait a bit, better to be sure her ardour for her ex has cooled. Besides I have to meet that 19 year old in Bangkok next week. I might arrange to meet Sophie in Bangkok as well. I much prefer it to KL.

However, it's not all dating site. I don't know what the universe is doing with me currently but I'm stunned. I was in a plane to Malaysia today and this very tall and slim 22 year old girl sits next to me. She was Indonesian. I introduced myself and we got in a convo. Turns out she had a Thai boyfriend. And said boyfriend broke up with her a day before the flight. Just as my inner choir started to chant she also revealed she was taking a connecting flight to Jakarta. So no chance to hook up in KL. However, the girl was touching her hair non-stop, asked me to check her nail job, which was spectacular. I held her hands and told her so. Then I said "let me make sure you can still hold hands" and clasped her hand in mine. She giggled with giddy excitement. I then asked to take a photo and held her close to me as I took a few snaps. She did as well. Even though I had only slept two hours the conversation was sparkling , her English superb. We exchanged our mutual stories of heartbreak and bonded accordingly. When we left we walked together until she had to do her digital form. I'd already done mine so I ditched her as I had to go to work and was late. If it weren't for that we would have banged, either at the airport or my hotel. What a shame, but what a lovely flight companion she was.

Checking the date site maybe 30 minutes. The secret is consistency. Of course then texting the girls is probably a good couple of hours in total. Even if I have 4 promising girls I would still ensure to text new girls as regular as possible. Just to maximise chances and to counteract time wasters that fall away, like Shen. That was a good lesson. Even if I were in a very firm relationship I would do this routine just to ensure there are always girls that can fill the spot as it were. Miki showed how even if there's no sign of trouble they can force you to throw them out in the blink of an eye. If you had no one lined up, the wait would be far longer. And Snoopy taught me that the best way to get over a break up is to have great sex with a new girl.

And Shen texted she changed her mind. She's not coming to stay with me, not to pick her up on 21st Nov. Obviously she has another guy. I was just plan B. What a time waster. And btw, she had a money problem, owed 23000 to a friend. I offered to give the money. She did not want it in the end. So again, money totally irrelevant.

So Shen came to dinner. She put on her mother on the phone to talk to me in my language. Nice conversation, mother is lovely. Shen is leaving to Bangkok today but will return on 21st Nov. She asked me to pick her up thenand said she will move in with me for 2 months. Yet when I try to kiss Shen, she gives me the "just hug", turns her head away and says "wait one week". What the hell is this??? How can she put on her mother, say she'll move in with me and then turn away and say I should wait a week?? She was talking openly about how the Chinese guy wanted to have sex without condoms but she would not let him. Clearly she has no hang ups about sex. What is this, wants to move in but refuses to kiss???

I totally agree, he lived and worked in Sweden so he had good money, he flew to Japan during their rel, alone, so it's safe to say he had cash. Yet she says he never gave her any (so accusingly lol) and she never asked for any. But I'm sure he flaunted what he had financially, would pay her taxi etc. Sadly money is the sine qua non, the condition on which it all rests. But it's not all, on top of that comes personality and looks and many other things. Like us men, women are demanding. We also don't just want someone good looking, she should have personality, be smart, useful and helpful etc. They should teach relationships in school really, this stuff is so complicated it beggars belief. And when you get the rel, maintaining it is even harder. It's a nightmare really, if it weren't for the benefits.

Shen, the 21 year old I'm going to see for breakfast now, is beautiful. Perfect body, face an 8. She got chatted up by a tall Chinese guy of 44 years old in Chiang Mai whom she considered very good looking. Showed me a picture proudly. He was tall and easy on the eye but no model. Anyway, she was crazy in love with the guy, when he blocked her calls she tracked him down online and flew to Bangkok to pin him down in his hotel. This guy never paid her anything. She never asked him for anything. If the account given is true, it underlines how women do not just go for money. There's more to it as well.

If they had millions in the bank they wouldn't look twice at anybody, lol. And I certainly wouldn't look twice at them then, last thing I want is a boss beatch.

That's a bit unfair. These women may be young, 24, 21 and now 19, but one thing they all want is a real partner and real relationship. Just because at that young age they have little money and welcome help in this regard does not mean they do not want a relationship and a real partner. If a partner is all in really depends more on attraction to you, rather than on whether they're "mature". Personally I don't like "mature" women. I actually made a date with a 41 year old, and she flaked of course. Only one to do so. It's a very one-dimensional view of young women to suggest they want only one thing, money. I reality of course all women, mature and young, want money, but they want so much more as well. And this is where the artistry comes in, to provide all these other things too.

It's so funny. A few days ago I was stuck on Snoopy. Now, Shen comes along and I realise she's ten times better than Snoopy in almost every way. It really goes to show, there's no girl so good that there isn't a better one coming down the line. Sadly though it looks like Shen is a lost cause. Still. A good lesson.

It's 363 per day? I thought it was per hour? Who works for 363 per day, my God. My gf works in the factory. It is indeed an electronics factory. So for 12000 baht it's pointless, she'd get that as an allowance from me. But she thinks she will make 23000 with overtime.

Okay, if her hourly rate is 363, that's 10 x 363 =3630 per day Plus 544 x 2 overtime, so another 1088 on top. That's 4718 per day. She works 20 days in a month. So she makes 94360? What??? Surely there is an error in this calculation. That can't be right..

She's wearing sports shoes from her mom. I'm sure they don't fit right, but she claims otherwise. It is working on one spot, she's assembling motherboards I think.

Thanks for explaining that. So there's no way to know how much she'll get unless she extrapolates. But I'm not sure she'll want to do the overtime every day the way she is complaining about standing so long.

She gets a 10 minute break at 10 am, 40 mins break at 11.30 am, and 10 mins at 14.30, then 20 mins at 16.30 and that's it. Still very long bouts of standing without sitting down. She's saying her feet hurt like mad. Let her appreciate what Daddy can do for her, I don't mind. I say "Daddy", but she doesn't call me that, this new 19 year old in the pipeline insists on calling me "Daddy" and "Dad". Not sure I like it.

Yes, there is bonus, that's right. But it was the overtime that was subject to the formula. She actually sent me screenshots of the presentation they did to supposedly explain it. Anyway, she has to get up at 4.30 am to be at the factory at 7, then stand all day on her feet, no sitting down, from 7.40 to 19.50. So I'm pretty sure she won't last very long. Sounds brutal.

I'm sure it is, but it seems pretty complex, there's a formula, and even now Miki is not sure how much she will get paid at the end of the month. Anyway, more thinking of Shen this morning. She is uber-charming but her leaving to Bangkok for a week this Thursday is not good. Then she'll come back only for 10 days and will return to Bangkok to study for good. And she's serious about two more years to finish her law degree which she already invested 4 years in. So it could basically never work, I'd have to move to Bangkok. She was so affectionate though, hugging me out of herself twice. And I can't believe she did all the dishes. An amazing girl. But screaming red flags as well.

So last Friday I started a Line conversation with a 21 year old girl, let's call her Shen, who lives literally next door to me, well 14 minutes by bike. We had a long phone call, and Shen suggested out of herself that we meet the next day. Odd thing was she abruptly ended the convo saying she had to take a shower which came across as strange. Anyway, I then texted a few hours later to meet me at this restaurant the next day. I went but was stood up, she never showed. When I texted her she just gave me some nonsense excuse that she was online studying. Despite that I had a great time anyway going to the Saturday market and sent her a few pics of what she was missing. She texted a bit about the pics and that was it. Come today the whole thing annoyed me a bit, I felt I got ghosted after she suggested a meet. So I sent her a text asking her to tell me honestly why she changed her mind about meeting me. She replied she still wanted to meet. But she was in a bad place worrying about her life. We then had a very long text convo and at the end I asked her if she had had dinner already. She said no. So I texted a video of Mongolian Beef recipe and said I was going to cook that if she wanted to join me. She was very eager to come. So today she finally arrived. She was absolutely beautiful, a slim, skinny Bangkok type. When she saw the the sink full of dishes, she said "Oh I can help you with that" and immediately started to wash this giant pile of dishes. I could not believe my eyes. I cooked the Mongolian Beef with her and we had a delicious dinner. The time flew by in literally an instant. She's studied for 4 years as a law student and just got off a break up with a Chinese guy. Just as I was thanking my lucky stars for finding this girl, she told me she was leaving to Bangkok this Thursday for a week. Then she would come back for 10 days to Chiang Mai, and then move back to Bangkok for good. I can't catch a break. The first girl who does the dishes, is smarter, younger and nicer than all the girls that have been here and she's moving back to Bangkok. Anyway, I'll go take her to on a big date tomorrow. But this is doomed from the start, she's a serious law student in dire financial need, and intent on living in Bangkok. It can never be. Such bad luck.

Why 9 years old though? It's way to young on anyone's calendar, surely? How did they come up with this age?

I saw her live in the intro meeting of the company on a video call, live in the company canteen and live in the bus of the company. So there is no doubt she's got the job. I am also sceptical about her claim she can make 23000-24000 baht at this company. They have a highly complex remnueration calculation, where they pay the basic salary plus bonus if you work at night and overtime. It will also require her to get up at 5 am to catch the company bus to be ferried to the factory and to work until 5 pm. So I suspect after 2 months she'll be begging for a flight to CM.
