If we look at the divorce rate in the USSR, at around 70% or more iniated by women, it is clear that women are not loyal. Nor are men, but women definitely are not. I had put aside 2500 baht per date, but it came out much less. The flight and hotel were the main items, the whole trip was 560 baht. I did expect full sex on the first date and indeed aunch or dinner was planned in. I actually was not averse to either.

Day 4 As the Filipina had flaked this was a day to explore Bangkok. Had lunch at Din Tai Fung which was 578 baht. Hit on a few girls but could not score. Just general exploring in Bangkok. The total budget for the trip was 560 USD. The bulk of that went on the hotel suite. You can reduce the hotel room price by half if you take a normal room. The dates themselves cost less than 1800 baht, mostly because Snooy was happy to spend the whole day and night having sex and paid her own taxis. The key take away it's not enough to put your passport and wallet in the safe, they will snoop through all parts, so if you paid a deposit to the hotel which has your date of arrival, do hide it as well. This place is a shopping mall with typical stores and restaurants you get in Central type malls, but in a narrower and visually less appealing format. Taxi there was 300 baht. I texted Miki I'd be in tea shop waiting for her. She came up and snook up on me from behind, the rascal. After a warm and long embrace we walked to a place I scoped with good seats. Miki rejected the suggestion as she didn't like the menu. Instead she took me to a cheaper noodle place. Her noodles were great, the crispy orange chicken with rice I got was almost uneatable. The cost was 374 baht. Miki had suggested we go to this giant fair taking place in Samrong. Not what I had in mind as it meant another BTS ride even further from Silom and I wanted her to come to Silom. But there was no two ways about it. Miki had set her sights on this fair. We would go there. Let me tell you, if you combine Venice and Tokyo they still would have been less busy than this Samrong temple fair. It was like a Michael Jackson concert. Reports of deadly stampedes flashed through my mind as we dove into the sea of humans trying to move at snail pace. Throw in the fact that there were hundreds of cooking stations and you get an idea of the heat we had to endure. It was literally like a sauna. Within minutes my face, back and whole body were drenched in sweat. My carefully combed hair went to the worst possible look, sweat drenched NBA. After getting a few morsels like insects clearly Miki was not enjoying the experience either. My chance had come. I suggested we go to Silom. She agreed. After a long and change over ridden BTS ride we finally arrived at my hotel. With taxi, BTS and insects this night had cost 1200 baht so far. In the hotel Miki was clearly not impressed I had booked a Premier suite with living room, couch and bench. She was impressed I had a charger and she could charge her phone. After an hour or so of building up an emotional connection, showering and me agreeing I was fine if she did sleep over fir the night lest her mother killed her we finally got down to action. The bench came in very handy and a good time was had by all. Three times I finished the night by going opposite the hotel with her for a New York pizza and a coke. I gave her 200 baht for the taxi. So the day cost 1400 baht in total. Her last words were "See you in Chiang Mai".

First of all thanks to all of you who came up with creative and original ideas. Below is a trip report with budget and other details, in case it helps anyone. Day 1 - Arrival As I had never done it before but was travelling light and wanted to keep costs down I took the BTS to Silom. That cost 35 Baht twice. Doable but changeover and walking clearly make a taxi a better option. The hotel said 500 and 800 metres to the Silom and Sala Daeng stations, but it's a good 10 minutes walk in Bangkok heat. Next time I'll take a taxi. Because the ladies were at opposite extremes of Bangkok I took a Silom hotel in the middle to keep trip times down. In the BTS I texted Isaan uni student, I'll call her Miki. I had weighed up going down to Samrong to meet her or asking her to come to me in Silom. She was clearly excited and agreed to come meet me in the hotel at 6.30pm. As the time neared, problems. I got a never ending stream of texts that reported a major argument between first her and her mother and then the aunt and uncle got involved. Apparently this girl was used as labour in her mother's Som Tum stall. The mother was clearly not a fan of 53 year old Farangs and expected her to work in the food stall that night. Using a mixture of arguments, screaming and pretend CRYING she had forbidden her daughter to meet me. This went on for 5 hours. The girl apologetically told meshe can't go today lest she be thrown on the street by her family, but that tomorrow she would lie to her mom and sneak out to me but it'd have to be close to Samrong. I agreed reluctantly. I went out by myself to a trendy foodcourt by myself. This place was frequented by students and some of the girls were highly attractive. Actually this became a theme as wherever I went there were stunning young ladies in Bangkok. Quite different to Chiang Mai. Anyway I cursed my bad luck and in particular the Som Tum mother who had beaten me badly in the psychological battle for her daughter's mind. Not a great start to my Bangkok adventure.
