I arrived back 8 March and went to Jomtien Immigration 9 March to do TM30. Was pleasantly surprised they had a TM30 Tent in carpark and it took 5 minutes with no need to get into the snake queue for inside the building. They also had 90 day report and retirement/marriage visa seperate so queue seemed to only be for visa extension.
Go back yesterday to get 30 day extension and the right side of the car park tents are all gone and everyone needs to get in the queue outside except 90 day reports which are now to the left of entry (why wouldn't people just do that online anyway).
So what seemed to be a good work around for the numerous extensions being applied was gone within 4 weeks. I had to line up for 1 hour outside, 20 minutes inside for 2 minutes with IO to give paperwork and pay. Then 1 hour outside again waiting for passport stamp (all of this used to 15-20 minutes total).
I arrived back at condo looking like I had heat exhaustion so I don't know how older people do it.
