    Well they've got that going for them. I remember when I first came to Thailand 25 years ago. Almost no Thais were overweight. You can thank my lovely America for exporting all the crap Thais now enjoy.

    A 10 year tourist visa? For how much? I'm sure it will be at an unreasonable cost, like all of their other harebrained ideas.

    This guy should go to jail and have his dogs taken away from him. I have nothing but disdain for irresponsible dog owners. Ours are always on a leash. People let their dogs roam here in our neighborhood and it sucks.

    They complain about tourism being down and now they're making it harder to come here. Once again, bureaucrats who have nothing better to do than make people's lives harder. And what about the lines at immigration? I suggest they have separate lines for anyone not from a visa-free country. But that would make way too much sense.

    Unfortunately, building inspectors here can be bribed, allowing them to build unsafe structures. I'm not saying that's what happened here, but I'm not not saying it.

    I just doubt that there's a demand for an airport in that area, although since it's half the distance from our house to BKK, I'd love it to happen. But I don't see major airlines booking flights there to all the places I want to go.
