I really do not trust the mail delivery in Thailand. Considering all the parcel thefts that even occur in Europe by dishonest postmen or postwomen, one can immagine abroad in a poorer country what can happen.

The OP should take the spanish lady to bed perhaps ? ....that should release the excess pressure on all sides ?

Is it not for the owner to handle the maintenance and not for the renter to shell out the ripoff of the technician who will always enjoy to ripoff a farang ?

The issue is not so much the validity of ticket but the over long delay most thai embassies take just to issue a visa like an e visa that takes ages for so called "pending documents verification" aka just lazy.

just take care that the officials against who you complained do not try to seek revenge as they have the details of the complainant.

What advise for a prepaid debit card for users living abroad who visit thailand for a few months annually ? A firm where one can send foreign currency, have it directly changed into THB and not have any other surprise expenses or issues when using the card like a credit card in THB when in Thailand ? All advice appreciated. Thank you.

I have bought a house on leasehold, I paid for the house but my name is not in the blue book I however have the land lease and another document that is oversized. and always an issue to stick under the photocopy (you surely see what I mean9 For a certificate of immigration the land lease paper goes fine, accompanied with the blue book despite that it does not have any name. To open bank accounts in Bangkok these 2 documents also go fine.

What does the embassy say ? Anyhow, all the retirees in France or Switzerland who mooved to Vietnam (and not Thailand), are delighted. The visa issues are much more smooth and the Consulates or Embassies abroad dont' harass for notorised copies on every document like Thailand.

The medias report and re report of the horrific thai roads that are amongst the worst and most reckless in the world. Yet one always finds those from the west who consider that they are above the average and untouchable. Hope things get back to normal or rather to shape for the victim.
