    Anyone here remember the health check at this border? A local lad used to shine his torch in the farangs eyes,say"yes ok" then charged you 20 baht. All done in-front of the IO's. Entrepreneurship at its very best.

    Chaos at Jomtien Immigration this morning. Most of the old lads turned up with just their passport as usual.All told to go and get photo copies of about 5 things.Gone are the days when you got your number and before you sat down they would call it out.Progress?
