The intentions of the new rebel group/Government are not know . It is a wise move by the Israelis to secure that land and the dam , as the dam wasn't being guarded , some group may have decided to wreak havoc and destroy the dam and caused water shortages in the region . I wouldn't go that far , I was pointing out that his "crime" was to help a person get documents to get a legitimate mortgage . Same as any felang in Thailand suggesting an agent to get a retirement visa without the documents and all those involved getting jailed for a year
