What sentences do you need to say to 7/11 staff ? Why do you need to speak to them at all ?

What ? They talk English but they cannot understand what they are saying ? Thats a strange situation

If Thais can speak English, they usually get jobs other than being 7/11 staff . Also some staff that can speak a bit of English are too embarrassed to speak in in front of the other staff , just incase the guy asks her out for a drink after work

Are you saying that the USA and Thailand have different rules and laws ?

My point was that Western guys can go and live in Thailand quite easily , but Thai men cannot easily go and live in Western Countries

Sales are all computerised these days , all the sales are logged Just exchanging for something else will mess up their inventory , 7/11 would have had scan the items at the till to register them being sold , you just taking items would have been theft and the shop assistant would have been complicit in the theft had she allowed you to take them . She did the right thing by scanning the returned goods and then scanning the sold goods , otherwise the records will show one bag of bin liners not in stock and whatever you took without paying still being in stock

You are posting that Westerners have difficulties in going to live in non Western Countries on a forum that is full of Westerners living in non Western Countries and try being a Thai trying to go and live in a Western Country .

I reckon its because the film director and cast want a free long holiday in Thailand and its cheaper to film it on location in Thailand , so the film writer sets it in Thailand

No need to congratulate me, because I never said what you claimed . I didn't say the quote that you attributed to me . My point was that its unacceptable to say anti Semitic things in response to the situation ,although its quite acceptable for him to criticise the situation and Israel (without resorting to anti Semitism)
