Is anyone else finding that if signed out either intentionally or other an attempt to sign in again gets a site response suggesting either user name or password is incorrect ? Following what seem to be only automated prompts to reset using exactly same details as originally is successful. Now for the 8th time plus verifying email several times fails to "lock in" for some reason . Not very encouraging for participation !

Smokin’ scuffle: Foreigner’s taxi tantrum goes viral in Phuket

Is that a "Could have been worse......in another report a man had an arm hacked off for objecting to smoking ! " detraction from the ridiculous behavior or a very sad attempt to attract further attention to another news item? And people still refer to trash editions of printed wastepaper . -
My personal opinion is that the vague definitions of "democracy" are rapidly being twisted into an indecipherable abyss of bs that is simply a product of insidious indoctrination . Unfortunately that has included an assumption that that indoctrination has been so successful the global population is subject to it. In not too far into the global future I increasingly have come to expect an unprecedented scale of chaos .

Thai doctor in Swiss expat case says she has ‘stress’
0ffshore360 replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
So sad to read such typical reactive negativity to a justifiable pursuit of action against an arrogant attack. This young Doctor and friend were sitting on the very boundary between public and private property. Not advancing expectantly on a private pool well inside the property as given as a previous example to justify aggressive behavior. That the victim is financially and occupationally well placed enough to viably pursue legal action is certainly an advantage as opposed to a situation where the victim is an aged vendor of such as fruit juices to eke out a survival income. In that circumstance it is unlikely identical aggressive actions would have ever come close to news and the Swiss individual would be feeling further superior . In the western arena a simple wrongful placement of a hand can elicit claims of assault. Yet it seems Western opinion of a kick to the kidney area of a Thai woman in Thailand woman with her back turned is dismissable as false ?- 228 replies

Why do super markets insist on re stocking shelves during the day?
0ffshore360 replied to Asquith Production's topic in Isaan
What you describe confirms ,in my opinion and experience, the true nature and attitude of the majority of the Thai people. Recognizing your genuine limitations and assumedly benevolent attitude begets respectful and helpful response. I have lost count of the times when careless arrogance on the part of foreigners who assume superior presence results in a charade of deliberate obfuscation or even hostile reaction. Stacking shelves or pleading attention to promotional items is paid employment designed both cater to customer needs, wants or potential desires regardless of time of day. No doubt complaints would be louder if shelves emptied in the morning due to heavy demand remained so until the following day. -

Under body salt damage to that vehicle should be grounds to "Condemn" it. If the driver is not the owner then new vehicle replacement cost should be extracted at a minimum ! -

" Capture" ? Such drama to assist media interests? I personally doubt there is much in significant public interests in this saga. -
B-quik maintenance issues
0ffshore360 replied to villageidiotY2K's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Your friend is up to speed on every B-Quik operation in Thailand? Franchise operations vary greatly (unfortunately). Customer opinion counts for a lot . How does knowing a CEO provide you with in-depth knowledge of all or any branch? Out of 3 such same name type services I have found only one which provides satisfactory outcomes. Obviously it is that particular operation that now gets my repeat business. -

To some the format of "tissue" paper obviously evokes responses not necessarily as rational as could be. Same or similar grades of paper products are sold as serviettes ,hand towels, etc in single, multi layered stacks and rolls. I find it a mind jolt on the occasions I have seen "Recycled Toilet Tissue" before then comprehending the more realistic "green" intent of the description. Yet further contemplation of tissue paper industries I am led to wonder if the soft and silky "facial tissues" have a similar origin at some point?

Foreign woman criticised for urinating on Bangla Road, Phuket
0ffshore360 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Really? I rarely defecate without urinating also so it must be an Oriental thing. But then again I have never paused to witness primal functions in public other than being annoyed at having to drive around vehicles stopped inconsiderately on the road while the ( invariably Male) driver irrigates vegetation roadside. -
Thai man exposes father for stealing electricity to run ice factory
0ffshore360 replied to george's topic in Thailand News
There seems to be a disconnect between allegation and credible reaction. Is there a real situation involving assisted fraud and corruption ? Is there a situation where eldest prospective inheritor attempted early extortion of funds and having been told to walk is attempting retaliation based on real or debatable "evidence" ? Full information would be nice to read. -

Foreign woman criticised for urinating on Bangla Road, Phuket
0ffshore360 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
In urban areas the lack is an original relic of removing receptacles for explosive devices targeting the general public. For a short period of time "see through" bins were available outside major complexes but sadly even those were demonstrated to be a risk.
