  1. I think most people over age 60 should avoid traditional Thai massage Also the medical knowledge of the workers is usually poor. I've always thought they should promote Swedish massage here as a more relaxing and safer alternative.
  2. No. This is serious. Don't be boiling frogs. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/01/28/tennessee-bans-maus-snowflake-red-states/ Opinion: Current weather: A blizzard of snowflakes in the red states
  3. They think their product is more attractive than it really is. Perhaps this is about the education system here..
  4. There is such a thing as a middle way. Thailand will.never succeed as an elite only tourism destination but at the same time yes mass tourism can also be reduced.
  5. It's too much. The vast majority will say forget the tests, let's not even go. Do they bother to do research on the feelings of the target people first, or don't they really want people to come in numbers?
  6. No! The people that use agents mostly do so because: If their embassy won't do income letters its way too difficult logistically to meet the extremely nit picky rules to do the then required 65k monthly import. They sensibly don't want to tie up 800k here for five months and then 400k for seven months of dead money. I use the 800k method but face reality. The onerous rules as they stand are PUSHING people to agents and there are many people in immigration super happy about that.
  7. Those that at this point are refusing vaccinations have made their choice. Its like a death cult for right wingers. You're not wrong to be skeptical about everything but anti vaxxers are objectively wrong. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2022/01/human-sacrifice-ritual-mass-vaccination/621355/
  8. I'm currently watching Shrill (or as some might say the fat girl show) binging on the second and third seasons. There are plenty of black, gay, and Asian characters but as its set in modern day Portland Oregon hardly a stretch.
  9. That's definitely the direction that its going.
  10. Well you got super lucky then. I went in today about noon hoping to pay for and get a booster today. Nope. I was able to pay for it for a booking in.a few weeks. So not too bad. The vaccine window this week there is Wednesday and Thursday 11 am to.1. I was told that if I had arrived at 9 am and queued I could have been.jabbed today. So PROBABLY if you go there tomorrow at 9 am you can be jabbed tomorrow. But waiting two weeks isn't so bad. https://m.facebook.com/PattayaMemorialHospitalfanpage/photos/a.101422868792041/256580926609567/?type=3&source=48
  11. Yeah but there is a good chance those are included. But we don't know.
  12. The number is meaningless unless they define which categorles are included. But anyone who is paying attention has noticed a significant percentage of retired expat drainage due to immigration policy changes. Its not only about the income letters. The onerous changes with the 800k account rules were a big factor as well.
  13. No sir. I most certainly di'int live with yo momma.
  14. According to Numbeo the cost of living in Mauritius is almost the same as Thailand. https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/rankings_by_country.jsp
  15. Yes the restriction is a feature not a bug! Respect it!
  16. The design philosophy is very enlightened. Offer something very addictive but limit play to once a day. You're left always wanting more which you can have a little bit tomorrow.
  17. No they won't because they'll know the stats showing massive numbers of global deaths.
