Gaza has been governed by Hamas elected by the people of Gaza. There had been hope they would pursue peace and cooperation with the state of Israel after Israel gave up their settlements there. It had incredible potential being on the sea. Sadly they did the opposite. That's on them not Israel.

A realistic list but back to reality: Biden is old BUT He's the incumbent He's objectively had a successful first term The economy is in great shape even though the people don't perceive that (very low unemployment, recession avoided, stock market booming, inflation under control) Historically no incumbent in such a position wouldn't run (and they would usually win) Trump is on the path to be nominated and Biden beat him before Biden has hinted he might exit if it isn't trump, but it looks like it will be trump Yes, things could change. Trump could be in jail. Either candidate's health could fall apart. But as it stands now, dream on, Biden is running.

I find polls meaningless at this point. More so than ever before at this early stage. Why? It's true most democrats would prefer a younger candidate than Biden but that doesn't in any way mean they will vote for Trump when it is Biden. Yes, the mostly likely contest now by far for better or worse probably worse is Trump vs. Biden. But there are huge contingencies. Trump will probably be convicted of a felony before the election. He may even be in prison. A president that can't even vote? Unacceptable even to a large percentage of republicans. Either one may have a health crisis or worse before the election changing everything. Again, polls now in this race are meaningless.

There is no way that Trump picks Haley! His base sees her as a globalist and many will just stay home if he does that. Biden's options may be bad but he has been a successful president and if it ends up Biden vs. Trump Biden is without any doubt at all the best choice. Also consider -- the majority of Haley voters say they will vote for Biden over Trump. It is not only possible but LIKELY that Trump will be convicted of a felony before the election. So what? This what. 30 percent of republicans will not support him in that case. Could Trump win? Yes, he's a clear and present danger. But in no way is he a shoo in.
