Trump's Vision for 2025: A Sweeping Crackdown on Immigration
Hawaiian replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The U.S. has 2 B visas, one for ag and the other non-ag. There are more applicants than available visas. So that is not a valid reason. Same thing for some European countries. And Israel along with a few Middle East countries. -

Agree. Mass deportation will never happen. They will target those with criminal records and "troublemakers." -

Trump's Vision for 2025: A Sweeping Crackdown on Immigration

Why must you inject race into the issue? People of all races need to follow U.S. immigration law. Japan is slowly loosening up its immigration policy. They definitely will not make the mistake the U.S. is making by allowing undocumented workers into their country. Illegals are flooding American cities burdening local governments and sucking up resources meant for Americans. Breaking up families? Where I live many Asians enter legally and once established sponsor their families. Why should illegals be given a free pass? How many undocumented immigrants have you fed and housed? There is absolutely no justification hiring illegals. The U.S. has visa categories to address jobs difficult to fill. Again, you need to stop your racist comments.- 141 replies

Are you justifying unchecked immigration as a means of keeping food prices in check. Isn't that similar to Biden raiding the strategic oil reserve to keep gasoline prices down? Comprehensive immigration reform? Why not first enforce the existing laws?- 141 replies

When I first visited Thailand twenty years ago I had the same impression. On repeated visits and traveling all over the country with new friends I discovered there is so much variety. Not all Thai food is prepared using the same seasonings. There are so many regional variations. Being from Hawaii I am accustomed to eating all the different ethnic dishes found here and over the years have learned to prepare many of them, including Thai food. Online recipes and suggestions from my Thai girlfriend helps. In fact, she says some Thai dishes are comparable to what her mother cooks.

When joining the U.S. military enlistees agree to follow all lawful orders. Accordingly, the Secretary of Defense has stated that vaccine mandates are "lawful orders." In your opinion, would you classify this as a Hobson's Choice? -

Of course employers have rights. I never indicated otherwise. I said there was a steep price for not following the rules. I had my own business for over 35 years and expected my employees to follow company policy. There were consequences for those who didn't. -

Prior to January of last year, U.S. military members were mandated to have Covid19 vaccinations along with nine other shots. Unless they were granted a religious or medical exemption, refusal could mean disciplinary action. Outside of the military, many employees, both government and private sector, faced suspensions or dismissals for not getting vaccinated. While no one was forced to be vaccinated there were steep costs for refusing. -

Had not has. This was back in 1988 when he had two brain surgeries. It is questionable whether his aneurysm is responsible for his cognitive decline. -

True, but they can also omit some facts to bolster their position. As columnist Paul Harvey used to say, "Now for the rest of the story." -

While the Secret Service is supposed to protect the president from harm, the rules could be amended to prevent the president from harming anyone without justification. I am not familiar with their protocol, but why would this be out of the question? I think this should be given serious consideration. Can't wait for the naysayers to shoot down this suggestion. -

You don't know why Biden "lied, but you definitely know that Trump lied. Please explain why Biden's false statements are not lies, but Trumps are. Why the double standards?
