I just copied this off another thread. It was a moderator's reason for closing it.

"1) You will not use thaivisa.com to post any material which is knowingly or can be reasonably construed as false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, referencing suicide, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law."

Seems to me that the moderators really should do their jobs better as there is a heck of a lot of "sexually oriented" writing on this board.

Personally, I think the BurmaVisa board's rules give more freedom to posters. What's the saying a a 'jumped up' moderator?

If you are going to close threads based on the the above then close them. Don't pick and choose. The Incident thread has a LOAD of sexually oriented posts. It should be closed based on your Thai-government approved rules.

Any comments? Any explanations why it pick and choose here? the board really is 'Thai ' as the controllers of it don't enforce the rules equally.

Too many posters take this lightly. Anyone who would do this is obviously a real sick person. Fawn should have thrown a brick through the windshield. Let the police sort it out after. Does this guy usually do this to the young girls walking home from school? She said this was on a school road. The guy who did this could be a pedophile. It's no joke at all and the posters who laugh about it have warped minds.

Could be the guy has citizenship. There are chefs working in hotels in Thailand. he may be a 'chef' but then again he could be married to the chief of police's daughter.

About four years ago I started getting into reading Charles Bukowski's writings. I had a friend who gave me a few of his books which I quickly cherished. I felt I could absolutely relate to what he wrote. I knew Bukowski was an angry drunk and womanizer but I never really appreciated how much of a horrible angry drunk womanizer he was until I saw a video of him at youtube.com Now I am humbled.

Life wasn't good for a lot of our ancestors on all continents. People have a right to complain and if need be fight for their rights.

Jealousy will always exist. Race, age, sex, nationality, religion, education, status, ethnicity, intelligence, looks, strength, character and all the rest of it will always be targets of humans. Every poster here has looked down on another for some reason.

If you would like a fresh slate move on. If you don't you will have to live with what you have chosen - things won't miraculously change. By the way, a fresh slate does not mean that whatever relationship you come into and whatever partner you have next will be better.
