That depends on where you live. Our cats live outside most of the time because we live in a rural area on a property that is open to the weather and the only rooms that are fully enclosed are the bedrooms. When they are not sleeping around the house they are outside in the jungle. All the cats are healthy and have never had any problems despite there being lots of other cats, dogs, and plenty of wildlife in the neighbourhood. They've learned how to look after themselves.
