I smoke so a air-conditioning bar is a no-no for me.I miss my old favorite bar in sukumvit soi nana in Bangkok.Loved sitting there looking the streetlife.No its hooters there where i never visit.In soi nana my favorite bar is kick-off where u also can look the street life.. people come and go and in weekends live music.

I speak thai well and my exwife learned me when we lived in surin. It took years to where im now.I helped the local police translate when a foreigner made problems. I also help the langueschool in my country learning our langue to thais who arriving here with bad english skills. A friend of me study at a langue scihool in chiang mai and it took 3 years included writing/reading.When we lived in surin i was around thais everyday and the locals also helped me to speak thai.

Have never been stopped and asked for my passport or a copy since my first trip in 2003.Been there 76 times until now. That said when my exgf had rented a apartment in Bangkok someone knocked the door after short time.The manager and a IO stood there and asked for my passport because they though i migth was on overstay. I gave my passport to the IO and they left. After 30 minutes the IO came back and said everything is ok.

I was married to a thai lady for 11 years..2 kids together..moved to my country 19 years ago.Divorced 8 year ago.I speak thai well.My experience when visiting other foreigners in Thailand they brag what a great sexlife they have and so on.When i listen to the wifes its often opposite.They complain nothing happens in bed for years and another thing is the drinking on daily bases.And of course the lack of money.I know some of these ladies just lying, anyway its a totally different story compared to what the foreigner telling.I was in my embassy and a guy came inside with his young lady and a newborn.She admit to everyone who asked that he was not the real father..it was a young thai guy.I took a bus from morchit and a young lady was followed to the bus station by a much older foreigner.He tried to kiss her but she refused.After a short ride she told the bus driver to stop and she left the bus.Many people on the bus told her that this was not good but she didn't say anything and left the bus.

Nothing surpricing me anymoy.We also know how many foreigners they arrested in airports in Thailand who stealing passengers suitcases. Ur not safe anywhere. People steal money..phones..gold..and so on.

By have them pay a wery expencive trip without telling them he braking the laws! And no refunds!

Makes me wonder about the condo owners in Thailand that is based on thai nominees..maybe their next.!

Right. When i paid some land for my exwife the landoffice in surin told us its not allowed if she get the money from me.me.This land wawawas her grandfathers land. So her grandfather had to give the land to my exwife mother first.first.And after her mother transfer the land to my exwife. It took thththe whole day at the office and i was lucky my exwife mother and grandfather went with us there.there.Had to pay about 9000 baht for this prosess to the landoffice.

Thailand think they r special as usual. They was sure the US didnt gave them high tarrifs and get slapped in the face. Now this happend..well im not surpriced at all.They allways say they r the hub of this and that and karma bite their butt again and again.

Im not sure that ur plan will work out positive. Its up to the IO to decide. IF the IO think ur a visa runner u will be denied entry. That u speak/write thai have nothing to do in ur case.What people say here isnt a 100% right answer..its just how things migth go in ur entries.I wish u good luck and hope the best for u but i want be surpriced if u get problems on ur entry.

U was at my embassy and a thailady applied for a tourist visa to my country. The thai guy at the counter asked her if she had proof of money and she gave her bankbook and asked him if 40 millon baht was enough. The embassy employee get a really red face and didnt say nothing.

I meet a bar manager in surin i used to have fun with. One day she asked me for 25.000 baht..i said no. Then she said if i not give her that money she would go to Bangkok and sell her body for sex so i gave her 300 baht for the busticket.

I brougth my exwife and our 2 kids to my country 19 years ago. Never regret that. She still have a good paid job..my daugther good well paying jobb.. my son study National safety at universety here. That said if the finance start to being a problem the marrige is a daily figth with ur wife.Its a stressful and bad relationship that often ends with a divorce.
