Right. In neighbor village a foreigner build a big house with a big balcony on second floor looking at people everyday. The neighbors felt like he looked down on them.He wasn't a popular person in that village.- 118 replies

Been working in Aberdeen for years.Never had any problems with people there. They love to curse and speaking loud but anyway nice. -
I was 19 years older then my exwife Nobody talked negative about that.Everybody friendly and nice Often came visit and also invited me to their home.Eating and drinking together and we laughed even we didn't have a clue what we talked about. After i learned to speak thai more and more it was so much easier to stay there The locals also learned me to speak thai and Khmer. My exwife parents cant speak English at all and they also with my exwife only spoke thai and Khmer to me Sitting and listen and people speak to u all day is the best way of learning i think.

The foreigners who gave millions of baht to their exgf/wife and lost it all never hit the headlines in Thailand. -
Im here if i get bored and have to read some funny stories. Some topics is really funny specially if people tell how they get special treatment at immigration. I also like to read how happy some people saying about their loving wife who never asks for money..and i know it's not true at all.And i like to read the latest news from Thailand and shake my head specially when TAT come up with their fantasy numbers.

I never been stopped for checking my passport in Thailand. But when my exgf had booked a room in her name in soi 93 they get suspicious. After 30 minutes the manager knocked the door with a officer from IMM. He asked for my passport and i gave it to him. After 15 minutes he came back and gave me my passport back and said everything is ok. -

Good luck.I only had overstay for one day in the past.Didnt get any fine but get a stamp in my passport about that.I told the officer right away i had 1 day overstay and they took me to a table near the passport control. The officer who i sat down with was wery nice.Asked me alot of things after he cleared my overstay. Asked where i learned thai.. about my exwife and our kids and just normal things. Both my kids had 4 year overstay but because their age under 15 that time it wasn't any problem at all. My kids mother is a thai. -
