Cameron’s Threats and Political Maneuvering in Brexit Battle: Johnson Reveals All
I wonder if elsewhere in BJ's memoir he'll come clean about his gross negligence in his handling of COVID that directly led to the deaths of tens of thousands of people? Or about all of the obscene corruption that happened during that time? Or how many illegal parties he actually had during that time? I won't be bothering to buy the memoir to find out of course.

At The UN Russia Warns the West Against Provoking a Nuclear Power Amid Ukraine Conflict
Really? Iran? North Korea? Seems you are unaware of all the proxies in this. Yes, you are aware of some. Just not all.

At The UN Russia Warns the West Against Provoking a Nuclear Power Amid Ukraine Conflict
Not sure any of this is wholly true. Just one example is that Ukraine's usage of some NATO weapons remains restricted, so it's hardly the 'full force of NATO', or indeed even close to being so.

Trump’s Plan to Reshape the Justice Department: A Radical Shift in Focus
How about reforming the judicial system so that there are 0% politics, 0% tolerance to law breaking and 100% compassion when required? My goodness, this weed is so strong!!!

Report Traffic Violations for Cash Rewards, Say Thai Police
At no point have I seen it clarified who the cash goes to. At what point will people think that it won’t go to the person making the report?

Saved a Thai from being fined. Good or bad?
Then fell off her bike laughing at what she'd seen? Saying in Thai, "wow, it looks like a pen!s only smaller?" 🤪

I reckon it's the same in France. I'm British, the last time I researched your comment is valid.

Tourist visa to China for Australian
Totally agree. Never had an issue, only met normal decent people, with the odd crazy. Just like visiting any country in the world. The hardest work I have is being asked to be in so many family photos as most people find it so unusual to meet a foreigner.

Tourist visa to China for Australian
This seems a stupid drunken post. I'm sure you've been there to make such an assertion, so if there's any truth to it you can post it with evidence to this forum so that others can learn for your experience. I'm sure we can forward this evidence to the relevant authorities so that they can take action. You'll perhaps be surprised to know that those relevant authorities are the Chinese Government as they won't want anything to put off potential visitors to their country as the Government gets significant revenue from tourism. You should also know that if you make such statements about Thailand then you may have broken the Thai National Security Law.

BBC to Investigate Missing Payments for Clive Myrie’s Outside Work
Looks like Clive Myrie has been honest, telling the BC that he's done moonlighting that's allowed in his contract. Seems just a screw up by the BBC in not transferring that honesty to the Register. So, as Clive seems honest, I'd suspect he'd declare all his income on his Tax Return. I don't know for sure of course, but I can't see anything in this article that leads me to believe he wouldn't be honest.

Don't agree, but maybe GB News should be funded for balance?

How does Hong Kong’s National Security Law compare to Thailand?
Take a look at this article. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0m0v99pd3vo I know there is the Lese Majeste Law in Thailand, and I would never want to do or say something to break that. And stuff about giving bad Google reviews. But does this conviction and sentence seem proportionate to those of you who understand Thai Law and how it’s applied?

Anti-money laundering complaint filed against Prawit Wongsuwon
Hong Kong (part of China, but generally different laws that are based on English law) ranks at 14, same as Oz. But having such a good rank doesn't stop corruption, there's still plenty e.g. an employee having to pay to get a job or tender rigging. I've seen evidence of both. I've done business in some of the countries that rank worse than Thailand, and I totally have seen why they are worse than Thailand, from immigration scamming a more expensive visa fee than needed through to a senior Government official not doing something that would benefit their country's GDP as they'd make no money from it. Crazy.

Thailand wins gold at WorldSkills Lyon 2024
I've got to admit that I'd never heard of such a competition before. Is it my bad, or not enough media coverage of such events? It doesn't matter.. For anyone to win a Gold Medal at a world-level event deserves some respect and praise. No matter what the event. Well done Ariyaporn!!
