No problem, guess you must have seen it to have that understanding, in which case you are completely correct, and thanks for the reply.

Stormy Daniels Calls for Trump's Imprisonment Following Conviction
That's maybe not how it works. If her Agreement is like mine she is allowed to talk to law enforcement about the crime without being seen to have broken the Agreement, and if the perp is prosecuted then found guilty she's covered. If the perp was found not guilty, then she might be open to being sued of course. Back to my case (as I'm not intimate with her Agreement, or indeed with her). I was not allowed to go public with the allegations at any time, but I could talk to a lawyer/police. Then if they prosecuted I'd have been allowed to testify. If guilty then I'd be completely clear. If not guilty me ex-employer could have sued me, but of course as the evidence was 100% obvious then they wouldn't have, even if they were found not guilty on a technicality. The burden of proof is less in a civil trial and the fraud they committed was clear and obvious (contract claimed to have been signed on a certain date to meet corporate/personal targets, but it wasn't signed till after that deadline).

I obviously don't have access to that Agreement, but I have an Agreement with a former employer that contains a clause that negates the gag if a crime has been committed.

Is there a "Plan B" if we are declared "not fit to fly"?
A slightly different way to travel would be as a passenger on a cargo ship. https://www.martide.com/en/blog/can-passengers-travel-on-cargo-ships

2024 destinations to visit near Thailand ?
Not easy to avoid the expensive hotels, but plenty to do for free in SG. And there's Club 7-11, as long as you stop drinking by 10.30pm! https://www.timeout.com/singapore/things-to-do/free-things-to-do-singapore

2024 destinations to visit near Thailand ?
Have a look at Hong Kong. Loads of good nightlife, Toaist temples, hiking, beaches and great food. Just over 2 hours from BKK/DMK and it's a cheap flight due to the number of flight operators.

Who's going to the Philippines then?
I went to Cebu & Palawan a couple of months ago to check them out as possibles. Much poverty in Cebu, but the people were incredibly friendly and I didn't feel unsafe. Good international travel connections too. Palawan was amazing, I went to El Nido. Stunning beaches and by far the best food I've ever had in the Philippines. The area seems to have had more money shoved into the infrastructure, but still a few issues with power and dumped rubbish. Plenty of bars and massage places too. Top of my Philippines list at the moment.

Alina Habba Raises Concerns About Jury Influence in Trump Hush-Money Trial
Short answer is yes. Can take a few months, but average is more than a year and is often more than 2. In Trump's case, I wouldn't be surprised if it took much longer than 2 years and headed to the US Supreme Court. Of course, he could be found not guilty, in which case the prosecutor cannot appeal (double-jeopardy).

Yeah, darn those defence lawyers for doing the job they're paid to do.

And if they are watching Fox or reading the Washington Examiner, might they be getting fair news? Are there news media in USA that are accepted as unbiased?

Thailand's women qualify for indoor Hockey World Cup for the first time ever!
Not a sport that gets a lot of media coverage, but I wanted to give a shout out to Thailand's women's indoor hockey team who qualified for their first ever World Cup!! They did this by winning the Asian Cup in Chonburi last week. https://fih.altiusrt.com/competitions/1661 for more details. They might have a hard time when they get to Croatia in February 2025. They'll be up against the likes of Germany and the Dutch, who are 3-time winners!!
