Morrow was charged after the investigation showed he’d been riding his bike alongside a pal on a motorbike when he hit the pedestrian, police said. He may also have been speeding at the time, according to Asia Pacific Press. “As for whether repenting and apologising would help reduce his punishment, we don’t know,” Police Col. Jakarin Atthasongphong, superintendent of the Mae On Police Station, told the wire service. https://nypost.com/2025/01/03/world-news/bike-riding-us-tourist-falls-to-knees-after-killing-pedestrian-in-thailand/

A flawed headline. A link with “no extra information “ An apology from the American who accepted responsibility. It seems everyone agrees here including the killer but you, as usual, want to make up your own version of events to suit your narrative. You are a strange character. Not everything has to be a debate or argument in life Richard.

Higher driving speeds lead to higher collision speeds and thus to severer injury. Higher driving speeds also provide less time to process information and to act on it, and the braking distance is longer. The higher the collision speed, the more serious the consequences in terms of injury and material damage. This is a law of physics that involves the quantity of kinetic energy that is converted in an instant into e.g. heat and matter distortion. In addition, the human body is physically very vulnerable in comparison with the enormous forces released in a collision. You seem to be trying to suggest that he was going at walking speed and the dead woman has just tripped over awkwardly. Farcical nonsense as usual. Speed kills, and that is an accepted fact.

Oh dear, that wasn’t for you, but anyway. If you were half as smart as you think you are you would have seen that it linked to https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1056516996505048&id=100064402730843&set=a.648490497307702 Which has further information. Including that the American accepts that it was his fault and is being praised by some for accepting responsibility for this women’s death.

I wouldn’t bother Richard. Fred always thinks the Thais are against him and thinks he knows everything even though he is effectively illiterate and can’t understand anything but a basic sentence. He makes up what he imagines they are saying. He claims in this incident that the Thais were in the wrong but it is possible since he is an American that he just got mixed up what side of the road he was supposed to be on, didn’t understand how he was wrong because couldn’t understand what they were telling him and now feels like a victim. Quite possible something similar with this incident. The American is sure acting with the family that he knows he was in the wrong. He might might have been wearing dark tinted shades, with a dark tinted helmet and not have seen the poor lady.

UK Secret Military Testing Sparks Outrage Over Animal Experiments
MalcolmB replied to Social Media's topic in World News
They should use peaodofiles for these experiments, not innocent defenseless animals.
