  1. The wrong figures. You aren't getting it because you don't understand. Your figures are for 'conventional' ovens. Conventional 'normal' and conventional 'fan'. Fan ovens are always set 20 degrees Celsius below non fan ovens. That's how I know. But what you don't seem to understand is that the 'new' tiny air fryers are just smaller versions of the original air fryers. Exactly the same workings. A heated element and a fan, but just in a smaller space. They may be as small as 4 to 5 litres in capacity. So that limits what you can prepare in them. Neither need preheating as such, as the heat spreads rapidly in such a small space. But the original air fryers are more versatile and are capable of higher temperatures. If you haven't tried an original air fryer, then you simply do not know what you are talking about. Have you baked bread or cakes in your air fryer? I can guarantee that you have not, unless you have purchased a large and expensive model.
  2. Yes, I remember your thread at the time, but I couldn't be bothered to sign up to post to help you, especially as it seemed that you had already booked. The forum was just full of idiots 😊 The inexperienced might not notice that it's an Economy Light booking with no luggage until it's too late and then they have to organise that separately. The main thing is that it all worked itself out in the end and that you are happy with the result. Personally, I would not wait to check in at the airport, but to instead check in online at least 24 hours before you are due to take your flight. Then you don't have to queue like an idiot at the airport hours for nothing. Just go to the Bag Drop queue on arrival after checking in online.
  3. I think that you are confusing yourself. You are posting figures for conventional ovens versus 'air fryers', but what you are missing is that the item that I posted is the original air fryer. The 'new' air fryers are simply compact and less versatile version of the original.
  4. How do you know that he knows how much the OP paid for seats and whether the Booking.com booking looked cheap because it was an Economy Light booking? 😊 You haven't a clue. You only posted because you've been humiliated in previous debates and are itching to try to scramble back some of your dignity. It isn't working. I guess we'll have your "not now, I'm busy" pathos next. 😊
  5. So now look again at my actual post. What I wrote is that there isn't anything wrong with them, but that there are often just an overpriced or more limited version of a cheaper convection oven....with which you can do even more. Do you disagree with that statement?
  6. I don't think that he would get 1,073 year prison sentence for being in a bar when it was raided. So likely you remember incorrectly. Likely this is the one some claimed to be the owner of the bar and even though the procurer of the girls is a Thai woman, they have laid the blame solely on him. Just an 'educated' guess. Big Jok stated that the bar was part of a larger network of bars in Bangkok and Pattaya. I guess the foreigner is denying ownership and that his name isn't being released as there are deals to be done. No inside knowledge, just simply from actually bothering to read what has been written.
  7. Can he not speak for himself or do you know the answers to my questions to him? Economy Light? Cost of booking seats etc..
  8. I fully expected you to fail to state your case. You have nothing, but hot air. 😊
  9. Why oh why would you choose Booking.com in order to book a flight? Even worse, you've "had problems with them in the past" I guess it's too late for us to have this conversation now. Did it look cheap and the turn out to be an Economy Light booking with no luggage? Booked seats? Did this turn out to be a more expensive endeavour than you imagined?
  10. I'll try serving duck necks this week. I usually serve chicken necks. They eat everything immediately. Not even a grain of rice is left.
  11. Allergic huh? Does that include duck? Somehow I'm quite sure that your parents-in-law don't buy lamb and salmon for him. Beef you can get for just for just over 200 baht per kg, so possible. Salmon belly is also available relatively cheaply. Lamb? Tell me about it.
  12. Okay, so then we don't need the $ sign do we? 😊
  13. That doesn't seem much, unless you mean per dog. I buy a couple of kgs of chicken, slow cooked and then mixed with brown rice. Stopped buy stinky overpriced kibble. What advantage do yoou think more expensive beef has over chicken? Do you serve it raw or cooked?
  14. Is there any reason that compelled you to add a $ to your figures? Seems a bit strange. If you need a sign, use ฿ 😊
  15. Go on then...tell me what you think that I don't know.
  16. Then don't talk 💩
  17. Nothing wrong with them, but they are just a cut down version of that less expensive convection oven. The larger convection oven with a fan, shown in my post above, is far more versatile. You can do all of the things you mention and more and with man sized portions. I often use them in preference to my normal oven. Can even make bread and cakes. Your slow cooker idea is good. Expanding your repertoire. 😊
  18. Going back to your statement that people are fooled by how "cheap" food is in Thailand compared to west. They aren't really are they? It also depends on where you buy it. Might be 30 baht with a egg at an outside place. Two of those pictured is still less than US$3. No one is getting 'fooled'. It is good value.
  19. 50 baht at a local market near you. You eat three to six of those each meal do you?
  20. They likely are Windows 11 compatible, but it's not compulsory to install it. 😊
  21. Seems three people here have bought 'air fryers' 😊
  22. Air fryer 😊 What a con 😊 https://www.lazada.co.th/products/otto-co-708-12-i5118263155-s21595881914.html Normal convection fan oven better in every way, for around 700 baht. Though I don't know what kind of idiot decided to depict a green salad in an oven. Slow cooker a good idea: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/otto-35l-sc-207-i3000171094-s11003939769.html 345 baht plus postage or perhaps pick one up from Lotus for around 400 b aht. The fresh markets are a good source for raw ingredients.
  23. No, that not what I was "talking about" it was his example of three or four Asian meals equalling one Western meal. Obviously total nonsense.
  24. No, he is not. A dish served over rice is not meant to be shared over multiple dishes and that was his sole example.
