What happened to arrival cards?
SouthThailand replied to Briggsy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Might be temporarily only and TM6 might come back in the future. 🙂 -
At Pathum Thani I always got bank letter first, and next day I went to the IO for the extension. No issues. Always required update bankbook on day application. Parking in front of the office 20 thb, and with the recent high water you might get some dirt on the shoes. They were always nice and fast. Never more than 45 minutes for the yearly extension. ST

You can go to regular held meeting of your housing estate and suggest removing the guards to save money. For housing estate, they might give road access to the local authority and open the roads for everybody. this is done a lot in older housing estates. Good luck -

Requirements for you to get an extension. They make the rules, you have to follow. If you do not like the rules, don't play the game. Find a better option. -

Tax Return 2025
SouthThailand replied to John Phuket's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Experts might have the answer for this question. Some info here: Rights and Duties of a Taxpayer | The Revenue Department (English Site) (rd.go.th) Personal Income Tax | The Revenue Department (English Site) (rd.go.th) Thailand Tax Return Filing Deadlines - SHERRINGS 5. Tax Payment Taxpayer is liable to file Personal Income Tax return and make a payment to the Revenue Department within the last day of March following the taxable year. Taxpayer, who derives income specified in c, d or f in 2.3 during the first six months of the taxable year is also required to file half - yearly return and make a payment to the Revenue Department within the last day of September of that taxable year. Any withholding tax or half-yearly tax which has been paid to the Revenue Department can be used as a credit against the tax liability at the end of the year. 4. Application for exemption or reduction of fine and surcharge A taxpayer has the duty to file his tax return and pay proper taxes on time. Should he fail to do so, he will be subject to fine and surcharge on top of the tax due. However, on some special grounds he may request for exemption or reduction of fine. A tax officer does not have the power under any law to exempt or reduce surcharge. Only in the case where the Director-General grants an extension of the time period of tax payment or remittance and such tax has been paid or remitted within the extended time period, then the surcharge may be reduced to 50% thereof. -
Tax Return 2025
SouthThailand replied to John Phuket's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
TRD: "Taxpayer is liable to file Personal Income Tax return and make a payment to the Revenue Department within the last day of March following the taxable year." Anybody going before Friday 29 March 2025 to immigration for extension, can say they will file tax declaration tomorrow. Immigration agrees and will grant you your extension. After Monday 31 March 2025 you cannot say that anymore and you might have to show your tax declaration, because you should have declared your tax already by then. I would say you can sit back and relax until Monday 31 March 2025, then the show might start. -
