No I do not, nor does any other man in the world know the body count of their wives/partners. Nor would we know the bodycount of our sisters, nieces, mothers and grand mothers, do you know any of those body counts related to your family? Plus I know of course women who have had boyfriends before we met them will not be virgins. But they will not have the so called bodycount of a prostitute anywhere in the world as if the prostitute had not had thousands of blokes then they are in the wrong job. Here we go, once I answer your question I will be accused of lying, but here goes any way. I met her on her birthday 25 years ago, her friends invited me to the restaurant and that is where we met. She had a tour company in Phuket, selling trips to James Bond Island for example, plus many other destinations, I think back in those days her income was around 100k baht a month from commissions. She worked for many years. She bought land in Phuket 30 years ago but did not use it at the time. Later on she built five houses on it and rented them out. She also built four houses in the Nakhon Si Thammarat area when she is from. So no she does not work anymore and lives off the rents. I do not work anymore and live off my pensions and rent from property in the UK. Now let the mud slinging start.

Yes, I think a lot of guys are married or have Thai ex bar girls and so to justify the fact they have to pay for them and their family they make up stories about costly ex wives in the West, and some even say buying dinner for a woman is the same as paying for her. If a woman buys dinner for us does that mean we have been bought? 😄 And yes in my experience many guys in Thailand seem to hang around with such girls, their friends do the same so in their own circle that is what they experience and think it is the norm.

There are is seem so many stupid guys on this forum and in Thailand relating to this issue, I suppose most have no choice but to pay for their wives or girlfriends otherwise they would not have one, they then claim it is the norm as they know no better. What about Thai women who have their own business and money, I suppose most farangs have never come across any of them as that type of Thai woman would never go to those sort of bars. In fact the vast majority of Thai women do not drink, but that is more than made up for by the Isan bar girls who drink like fish. 😃

The cost to me with my long time Thai partner is zero. She has her own income/properties and I have mine (but mine are sensibly in the UK). But I suppose a lot of guys have ex bar girls as wives/partners as they are the only ones who would go with them. But I don't understand why a lot of guys say their wives etc in Australia or the UK are expensive, as far as I have seen in my lifetimes is both the male and female work thus earning money, on many instances the women earn more than men.

We are in Thailand and so the guys who posted very hight scores are just admitting they spent a lot of money on bar girls than those with mediums scores, not much to brag about seeing as we could all pay for it. I have even come across some guys who say they get bar girls for free due to their good looks and charm, I just laugh to myself. I can imagine receiving comments stating I am jealous, the fact is I do not go with bar girls, I have enough money to be at the top of the 'body league', but paying a girl for it is just cheating when it come to the real 'body count'.

To be honest, my answer is never. Whatever genre of music we enjoyed over the decades it is still 'pop music', the lyrics are not important to me. If I was trying to BS I would say she has houses in London or NY not Thailand, houses here cost bugger all. I suppose it is hard for you to understand that it is possible for many Thai women to be successful in their own merit and have money etc, you and I probably mix in very different circles. That is true, they all have different personalities, but they have one thing in common, they are prostitutes selling their bodies, it is as simple as that. You can try and shuffle around the edges in an attempt to defend them for whatever reason but the fact remains they are prostitutes. I find the long stay folks think they know everything about Thailand but in reality they know a lot about their little view/version of Thailand.

Since you are name dropping in an attempt to be superior, my favourite event is the Oxford University and Cambridge University annual Christmas dinner each December in Bangkok. Most attendees are high ranking Thais. No riff-raff there.

As I live in Phuket most of the foreigners out and about are on holiday for a short period of time and so have money and are out for a good time so I don't mind talking to them as it is fun. As things have changed here over the last ten years or more, the vast majority of visitors are couples or in a group or families, I think most of the dodgy guys now go to Pattaya or other cheaper places. I avoid the long term guys who are miserable and negative but they are in the minority, most long term people I know seem to be happy. I suppose housing and other costs here are more expensive than in other areas so the miserable skint ones can not afford to live here anyway.

I used to go regularly to an Aussie bar in Phuket a few years ago, it was a good laugh, once or twice when I was asked where I was from by a new Aussie I would say England. One or two said, "Ah never mind, we have lots of winging poms in Australia".
