Yep, I agree with all of what you have said. Though I haven't given up yet, but I'm sure many wish that I would because they simply can't take what I have to say. Truth smacks hard for some! Maybe a bit too hard...

They are my experiences, KannikaP. There is't much I can do about it but I do feel the need to post about them here in an (albeit probably futile) attempt to help other members or open their eyes a little.

I've noticed since joining this forum back in September that certain members have nothing but negative, abusive and downright slanderous things to say on my topics and elsewhere. I would just like to ask, why all the negativity? Are you just disappointed that Trump won and are venting your spleens or is it something much deeper? Do you have issues that need working out? I mostly make topics about my life experiences in Thailand, but it seems that certain members just cannot or will not accept my experiences for what they are - MY EXPERIENCES. Nothing more, nothing less, and I thought that's what a forum was for, to share all our collective experiences. Perhaps I was wrong, maybe this place is different...

Digitization streamlines NOTHING for the applicant. Look at embassies in Laos now. Since going digital the wait time to process new visa applications from next year will be 3 weeks instead of 1 day... It makes nothing more efficient, only adds to the bureaucracy and headaches.

Tourists who know how to behave are no problem at all. What I see now though is basically a wild mob on the loose in many tourist hotspots on 90 day visa exemption stamps that just do not give a stuff about anything or anyone around them!
