  1. And in Russia Putin's political opponents keep flying out of windows or mysteriously getting poisoned but on this issue you don't question his innocence at all. Why is that? PS. Rhetorical question - I know why.
  2. Yes, about that: March jobs report: U.S. adds 228,000 new jobs — but that was before Trump’s tariff event https://www.marketwatch.com/livecoverage/march-2025-jobs-powell-today/card/march-jobs-report-u-s-adds-228-000-new-jobs-but-that-was-before-big-tariffs-4fKmmC2gibQC9hZaexDO The increase in hiring was concentrated in companies that tend to see pickup in business when the weather warms. Unusually cold weather in the first two months of the year depressed employment. The unemployment rate, meanwhile, moved up to 4.2% from 4.1%, matching the highest rate in five months. The latest snapshot of the labor market was taken before Trump announced the biggest U.S. tariffs since the Great Depression in the 1930s.
  3. Yes comrade, nothing to see here, move along. It's not like the US has an anti-vaxxing moron as sec. of health. Nyet siree!
  4. Sure, and compared to the asteroid that killed off the dinos this ain't bad at all!
  5. He does? What it all those bankruptcies that taught him?
  6. You just gotta try and not equate every post critical of the moron in the WH with hating the US. It's lame and obvious and doesn't convince anybody.
  7. I knew there was a reason he wouldn't link to it.
  8. Inside Trump’s defiant response to the markets’ tariff meltdown After a day and a half of mixed messages from Trump and top administration officials over whether the tariffs were the start of a negotiation or a more permanent change to US economic policy, Trump didn’t use Friday to deliver clarity. He didn’t venture out into the country to sell his plan from the floor of an American factory or to showcase a business or community that he believes will benefit from the tariffs. Instead, the president chose to begin his day on the golf course in Florida.
  9. The article clearly refutes what many people believe, that the tariff rates are based on on the rates levied on US goods exported to the EU. That's clearly not the case. What clearly is the case is that the tariff numbers are figures randomly pulled out of Trump's enormous butt. They make no economic sense at all.
  10. You're introducing facts into a thread mainly populated by people who do their own research. I've tried that repeatedly but it's like they're vaccinated against it. And let me tell you that that vaccine is 100% effective.
  11. And just who are the.........forget it, I've wasted enough time on this subject. You take your Ivermectin, fluvoxamine, bleach or whatever else it is you prefer to the MSM (mainstream medication) and leave the rest to Darwin's principles.
  12. Do you think that Wikipedia earnings in any way are affected by how they chose to describe Steven Todd Kirsch?
  13. You linked to a dodgy website started by this character (from Wikipedia): "Steven Todd Kirsch is an American entrepreneur. He has started several companies and was one of two independent inventors of the optical mouse. Kirsch has been both a philanthropic supporter of medical research, and a promoter of misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines." So no thanks.
  14. You forgot to mention the lizard people. If there's a "may be" for me then there's hope. In your case, unfortunately, there's absolutely no maybe.
  15. Oh, so "someone once said", did they? Well, that does it for me! I'm gonna don my tinfoil hat and sit in the closet with the light off for a while until I've digested this stupid conspiracy drivel highly credible information. Thanks for sharing!
  16. I love the smell of hyperbole in the evening.
  17. Since you only joined AN 9 days ago what could you possibly know about "the Kamala lovers" and what they have and haven't said after the election?
  18. Always the optimist.😉
  19. Answer; not even close. https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2025/04/03/fact-check-are-donald-trumps-tariffs-on-the-eu-really-reciprocal "It is not factually correct to say that the European Union imposes tariffs of 39% on the US. On the contrary, it's a nearer 3%," Andrew Kenningham, Chief Europe Economist at Capital Economics, told Euronews, putting the rate somewhere in between the Commission's and WTO's estimations. The US administration, however, points to an unfair "asymmetry" in certain tariff rates. For example, the EU applies a 10% tariff on US car imports, while the US charges just 2.5%. Brussels says, however, that this fails to consider the fact that the US imposes a 25% tariff on EU-made pickup trucks, which are a favourite among US consumers and account for "about one third of all vehicle sales".
  20. I don't know, better ask the mods. It would probably be wise of you to look into it. That way you can show your employer how much of an influencer you really are,
  21. Thanks for that link to an article behind a paywall. Very convincing.
