  1. @Hummin You accused the person who downvoted @Fact's post of being 'spineless' That was specific and in my opinion, wrong. Perhaps not owning up to that can be considered 'spineless'. You have followed that up by suggesting that I might need to 'grow a pair' without any basis for doing so, other than your hurt ego. Following that up with the suggestion that I am too stupid to understand the 'simple' things that you write you are trying to explain. Along with the implication that your time in discussions is more 'precious' than mine. I'm having a nice day, thank you.
  2. @scubascuba3 I think the upshot of what they were saying is that they didn't taste the same. Again, it's just what I read. @ChipButty Certainly Malaysia for some products. @BritManToo I have no idea, as tend to not to purchase tinned foods in general.
  3. @Hummin Name calling like "spineless"? Clean up your own house firstly. Certainly no need for you to suggest that we both need to grow a pair. On what evidence do you make such a statement? Anyway, there is no vendetta. We speak our minds, like men. Accepting the rough with the smooth. If you can do that, you gain respect amongst your peers.
  4. Grow up @Hummin I actually upvoted one of your posts a couple of days ago. Let go of your paranoia. Just like fred, if you come out with BS, i can challenge it and in the very next post back you up if you write something sensible. So get over it and your nonsense of 'ticking people's boxes''. Irritating and egotistical. We all 'tick people's boxes'. Do you think you are special? Do you think we have to agree on everything? What is wrong with you? I certainly don't accept your explanation for your childish 'thumbs down'. But neither do I care about it.
  5. @BritManToo Is she Russian? 😊 This one gets mad if I don't want to have sex with her. Her opening line is "Do you want to F*** me? No.
  6. Alternatively, if you rarely use your phone, then perhaps a 29 baht package supplying 800 MB monthly may suffice. *777*9512#
  7. @Explorator en Actione The recommended packages have already been posted. One2Call is AIS. Either one of those or the Net Marathon MAX Internet speed 15Mbps, 50GB per month No FUP Open a new number, top up 1200 baht and apply *777*7698# and then hit the Call key within 30 days 6 months 1150 baht
  8. @BritManToo It's 250 baht for each month after that. It's the All Together 250 package illustrated above. They have the All Together 300 package there too, though not the All Together 350. You're saving on the cost of the SIM, rather just paying for postage cost. Another good way to get around the shops pushing customers towards overpriced packages.
  9. @save the frogs It's not just "Mother Teresa" and @Hummin Perhaps those that live that way don't feel the need to proclaim it. Watch out for the ones who do 😊 @Fact Whilst I don't ever downvote anything nor anyone, You are wrong about that. Some women choose that path, for one reason or another. A Russian woman I know told me that even her mother predicted that she would become a sex worker. Said woman also admitted that she gets her 'love' from her customers. Just like we have a fair amount of weirdos on this forum, there are going to be variations when it comes to women. There are all sorts out there. I actually lived with a 'Madam' as a teenager, so know about what I am writing. So no, you are wrong. Some choose that path for themselves, for varied reasons. @Hummin You need to wind your neck in with your 'spineless' comments. Attacking people out of ignorance.
  10. I decided to pop into an AIS store, to put it to the test. I asked about SIM/eSIM and if I could just take a SIM from them without a package. The answer was no and the question they are tasked with asking, is how long you are staying, in order to determine the length of validity of package to offer. The cheapest, was a 10 Day package, with perhaps 35GB data allowance, for 349 baht 😊 Their 30 day packages were around 1200 baht and 1700 baht. Patently ridiculous. Better to just buy a SIM card from an independent shop for around 100 baht if you are on foot or just order online for around 50 baht. You can then cross the aisle back into the AIS shop to top it up and then use the code to add the package that you actually want. I guess they make money from the gullible. There was no sign of the All Together 250/300/350, which would suit most tourists. My advice would be to take a screenshot of the All Together packages I have posted, into an AIS shop. Much harder for them to refuse to sell you one of their own packages. Their scam only works when they think you don't know any better.
  11. Wasn't it written that the cheaper Heinz baked beans came from China? I don't know, as I only read it here. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the big brands are having things made under licence, in places such as China. When I scrutinise some of the packaging, there no place of origin.
  12. @treetops Put 'em in the oven. I bought some Krackawheat to eat with cheese. They were a bit soft. Put the amount that I intended to eat in the oven, at 100 Celsius for a few minutes. Better than new :)
  13. @ronnie50 As an aside, TOPS and Big C aren't under the same ownership. Grabbed some Delizie Di Calabria 'Nduja 180 grams for 79 baht at TOPS. I guess it's not an ingredient many people use, so around 1/3 of the usual price.
  14. @ronnie50 They had/have Coleman's Horseradish for 23 baht. Mini packs of Cadbury's Digestives for 20 baht. They have British, French, Italian, Korean, Japanese. I picked up bargains from all sections. Box of 20 Harada Japanese Green Tea bags, 50 baht. Down from 229 baht.
  15. @topt I mentioned that they are in the Imported Foods section. You cannot miss it, next to the freezers. @carlyai No cheap Vegemite. Sorry 😊 Some of my current go-tos include the Carrefour Protein bars. Both 16% and 20%. Containly mainly fruits and seeds. A good snack for when exercising or just out and about. Currently 45 baht, instead of at least three times more. Bought eight packs of those. Carrefour Tartare, Aioli, Bearnaise sauce...all 25 baht each. Usually 99 baht upwards. South Pattaya doesn't follow the same pattern, though I picked up a Sunpat peanut butter for 23 baht there. Alpen I picked up for 99 baht, but didn't like it, so gave it away.
  16. Okay...who gave me the thumbs down? Someone not liking me revealing the bargain prices at Big C Extra? 😊
  17. I should tell you @BritManToo, dependent on where you live, you can find some great prices. For example, Big C Extra has regular promotions in their Imported Foods departments. I'm not a great fan of sweets and biscuits, so cannot easily quote prices of such things, but examples would be packs of HobNobs and Ginger Nuts for around 20 baht. No exaggeration. Tyrells hand-cooked English crisps, 150 grams; 33 baht. Morrisons The Best Fruit & Nut Granola Muesli, 500 grams; 60 baht. D'aucy Peeled Tomatoes 380 grams; 23 baht. Carrefour Extra Gianduja chocolate bar 200 grams 45 baht. Carrefour Extra Hazelnut and Raisin chocolate bar; 38 baht. RakuRaku Miso Shiru 4 Pack; 14 baht. Carrefour Milk chocolate bar 2 x 100 grams; 29 baht. Colemans English Mustard 170 grams; 23 baht. Coop(Italy) Risotto(various); 10 baht to 19 baht. Just some recent examples.
  18. @fredwiggy You write about rules that can be interpreted differently, depending on the period, translation. How about do unto others....how does that fit in with persecuting Trans and Gay people and all the myriad attacks on people perceived to be on the Left? It's just hate, pure and simple. Nothing to do with the bible and everything to do with brainwashing people to follow your belief system, by cherry picking the bits that you like.
  19. @fredwiggy I'm not suggesting that everything he said was wrong. I state that they cherry pick the parts that suit them and ignore the parts that don't. Easy to fool people about the meaning of passages that have been translated and modified over the centuries. Please explain your criteria for factual. Better to find your own moral code, rather than to be continually manipulated. Sadly, American are fodder for that kind of thing. Look at what they have for a president. A lying grifter who ran questionable businesses and who has open vendettas against anyone who dares to point out his transgressions. These people aren't true Christians. They are vile abominations. America seems to be drifting towards fascism. I hope I'm wrong.
  20. @fredwiggy I'm going to have to disagree with you there. He simply cherry picked the parts of the bible that fit his personal feelings and ignored the parts that don't. Nothing to do with Christianity, everything to do with hoodwinking people who cannot easily navigate dirty debating tactics and other fools who think he's winning due to those tactics. Take a look at the video that I posted earlier to understand.
  21. Wrong @JonnyF Here his whole belief system destroyed in a single debate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9O7y50cNb7c The fact is he just used dirty debating tactics, but really had no substance at all. You can fool some of the people some of the time and even all of the people some of the time...but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. Just another fraud IMHO.
  22. What is all this? I would hesitate to label the man a total fraud, as I know one should not speak ill of the dead. I would hestitate to use the term 'snake oil salesman'. What I will say is that anyone who has a modicum of intelligence could and can knock down his whole house of cards. These people cherry pick the parts of Christianity and 'tradition' to suit themselves, ignoring the parts that totally demolish their idea. They have no integrity at all. Is the USA becoming a fascist state? Be careful. The people are easily hoodwinked.
  23. Such a lot of old rubbish posted here. There is no need to spend 5000 baht on parts. I spent less than 400 baht on a Solid State Drive and usually use 2nd cheap RAM if I want to upgrade that. The device I'm using currently is from 2012 and was originally supplied with Windows 7 Professional. The answer depends entirely on the device in question. Mine is an old Business standard device. Easy to upgrade components without needing to take the whole thing apart. So RAM and SSD upgrade takes less than five minutes. No issues with Drivers at all. OP can actually just install Windows 10 and have that run until October 2026. So, dependent on the quality and spec of the device, no issue with either OS. Therein lies the rub, the OP appears to have no idea even of the device name nor specification. So it may be a hard slog even getting started on how to direct them.
  24. @Yellowtail Indeed he appears to be another criminal with conflicts of interest. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/trump-border-tom-homan-firm-federal-contracts-1235219657
