With respect, Hezbollah didn’t just appear for no reason - they were formed in response to the 1982 Lebanon War, when Israeli forces occupied Lebanon and stayed in the south for years. There was also a U.S.-led multinational force on the ground at the time, so from a local perspective this looked like heavy foreign military involvement in Lebanon. Your country may call Hezbollah terrorists but most don't - funny how this “everyone agrees” narrative only seems to include a handful of Western governments. Here in Thailand - where we actually live - Hezbollah isn’t even proscribed as a terrorist organisation. Same goes for Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos… and then you’ve got China and India thrown in for good measure(that's nearly 3 billion souls!) But sure, let’s pretend there’s some universal consensus, when in reality most of the world’s population lives in countries that don’t follow that line. It’s almost as if the “global agreement” isn’t quite as global as you’d like it to sound.
