  1. What has that got to do with the express fact that the 75 degree figure you cited is based on speculation on what environment would be most propitious for promoting life? The authors of this expressly stated that it was not about conditions that most favored human life.
  2. I just want to check to see if we're on the same page. Do you understand that Climategate refers to the release of emails between climatologists by hackers in 2009? Emails which allegedly exposed the lies that climatologists were using to push a narrative of human caused climate change?
  3. Apparently, from what I've looked up, that means either 8AM to 4PM or 9AM to 5PM. So many hours when stores are closed.
  4. Except that this superhabitable world that was posited was expressly not designed to accommodate human life. It was designed to be optimal for abundance of life.
  5. And what about wind power? Apparently, Britman doesn't believe that it functions in winter. Maybe he'll believe youthat the wind does actually blow in winter if you tell him?
  6. Actually the article is about cracking down on pro-Palestinian protests. Not about supporting anti-Palestinian protests.
  7. It's a good thing he wasn't provoked. Otherwise, there might have been some justification for his comments.
  8. Do you expect me to read the entire report to track down whether or not the CBO report addresses the issue of taxation?
  9. Apparently, you believe that an assertion about me unbacked by evidence, is sufficient.
  10. Give Trump time and he'll probably threaten to make Italy part of the USA, too.
  11. Why do you think that anyone needs Google to know that the wind blows in the winter and that hydroelectric power keeps on chugging in winter? In fact, I'm going to go out on limb here and guess that winds tend to blow harder in winter.
  12. Because the wind doesn't blow and the water powering generators doesn't flow?
  13. Given the violence endemic to hockey games, why am I not surprised?
  14. One of the factors affecting cost is the price of electricity vs. natural gas. Quebec, the most populous province in Canada, has very low electric rates. Whereas natural gas prices often spike during the winter. And over the long term who knows where gas prices are going? But renewables like wind power are getting cheaper rapidly as is battery storage.
  15. Anyway, by the logic espoused by Riclag, the country that finds the greatest support for its values, which are considerably to the left of the United States, is Norway. Norway (population: 5.7m) beats US (342m) to top Winter Olympics medal table Country wins most golds (18) in Winter Games history https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2026/feb/22/winter-olympics-2026-medal-table-standings-norway What is there left to say but Norge! Norge! Norge!
  16. I sent you 2 brochures. Here's info about the other one:
  17. And if he had lost, he would have been so ashamed of being an American? This player needs a refresher course in civics.
  18. So, if the USA had lost that would have invalidated "Nationalism, Flag, Country" and would have supported "those that want to divide traditional America values"? And can someone explain to me what "divide traditional American values" means? Exactly how does that get done?
  19. Here's a clearer version of that that also includes a link. https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/LNU04073413
  20. So you are asking me as an authority to pronounce on the truth of that? I'm touched by the trust you place in me. But I think it's better that you look for the answers to such questions on your own. And, for a change, you might want to share that evidence with the rest of us.
  21. Thanks for the wise guy response. Now how about support for the claim about agricultural workers. You know, this one: "Yeah, the bulk of which are done by people with H-2A temporary agricultural worker visas, yes?"
  22. There you go again, making it personal. Which means, of course, that you've got nothing.
  23. And if they're all being bled to death to provide adrenochrome to members of the Deep State that would be even worse.
  24. Exactly. You don't know yet you threw shade on this person for going to a hospital.
  25. There's an anonymous poster, namely you, who imagines that someone would take their word over a published report from a trial conducted by the DOE. It is to laugh. What makes it more laughable is that you are apparently incapable of using that article I posted to find links to these manufacturers. Still, to humor you, here is a link to brochures for a the Zuba series from Mitsubishi which is designed for conditions faced by Canadians https://cdn.agilitycms.com/mesca/mem-202117v1-e_zuba-catalogue.pdf https://cdn.agilitycms.com/mesca/mem-202523-e_zubarebrandbroch_v2_lr_10.28.25.pdf
