  1. Complete nonsense. Who is this "they" you are referring to? Are these millionaires doing the research? Are they the one on the production liines manufacturing the pharmaceuticals? Are the pharmaceutical companies entitled to seize funds from these millionaires so they can lower prices and keep their products competitive?
  2. It's rare that I have a good word to say for Donald Trump, but this is one time that I do. Florida vaccine mandate rollback falters after Trump criticism It took barely two days, and some huffs of disapproval from the White House, before Joseph Ladapo’s bold plan to eliminate all vaccine mandates in Florida began to deflate. The action, the fervently religious state surgeon general had asserted at a fire and brimstone press conference in Tampa, came straight from the heavens: “Who am I, as a man standing here now, to tell you what you should put in your body?” he opined, framing the freedom to reject vaccines as a “reflection of God’s light against the darkness of tyranny and oppression”. Mandates were akin to “slavery”, he said, in comments presumably intended to align with the ongoing anti-vaccination campaign of misinformation and myth of the health secretary, Robert F Kennedy. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/sep/14/florida-vaccine-joseph-ladapo-trump
  3. Cuts to US oil jobs and spending threaten output growth Oil and gas producers cut $2 bln in expenditure, Reuters analysis shows US oil rig counts have fallen by 69 this year Trump's trade policies and tariffs push up material costs https://www.reuters.com/business/world-at-work/cuts-us-oil-jobs-spending-threaten-output-growth-2025-09-08/ "Trump's trade policies and tariffs push up material costs" Trump's right hand doesn't know what his left foot is doing. He should look for that foot of his in his mouth.
  4. In an interview a few weeks before his first inauguration, he said that he had a plan that was in its final stages.
  5. "Jones was talking on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday about public money spent on trying to help homeless people and suggested that those who didn’t accept services offered to them should be jailed." “Or involuntary lethal injection, or something,” Kilmeade said. “Just kill ‘em.” To whom do you think " 'em" refers to? Do you think it's the equivalent of the "x" in algebra where it could mean anything?
  6. An unlikely alliance of Republicans and Democrats in the U.S. Congress is pushing to address expiring Obamacare health tax credits in upcoming legislation to keep the government funded past Sept. 30. The move could give Senate Democrats something to present to their voters as a rare win at a time Republicans control both chambers of Congress, and also allow President Donald Trump’s party to prevent the year-end expiration of a popular benefit headed into a midterm election year. Republicans aligned with Trump, Democratic lawmakers, and representatives of the healthcare industry have separately called for extension of the tax credits used by many of the more than 24 million Americans who accessed healthcare coverage through the marketplace in 2025. https://www.staradvertiser.com/2025/09/13/breaking-news/obamacare-tax-credits-draw-bipartisan-support-as-budget-deadline-looms/ Remember Trump's attempt during his first term to overturn Obamacare? While I think that John McCain's independence was greatly exaggerated, his refusal to knuckle under to Trump rescued Obamacare. For that, he should be praised.
  7. Well, some people who have stated their hostile and true beliefs about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, have been met with hostility and worse. . Why the outrage?
  8. A memorial for right-wing US influencer Charlie Kirk will be held next Sunday, in a stadium that previously hosted the 2023 Super Bowl. The 31-year-old, who was a close ally of Donald Trump, was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday while speaking to university students at an event in Utah. https://news.sky.com/story/charlie-kirk-memorial-to-be-held-in-arizona-stadium-13430742 Will Muslims be allowed to attend?
  9. Given that it's brain dead, it's already most of the way there.
  10. So can you explain to us why Kilmeade apologized?
  11. What law was it that got changed in the 80's?
  12. No. Liberals didn't used to say that. Since when are asylums part of the federal system?
  13. The nonsense is actually coming from you. Typical MAGA denial of reality. Kilmeade apologizes for remarks on homelessness, mental illness https://www.foxnews.com/video/6379403917112 I'm sure he was very sincere in his apology which is why it took him about 4 days to get around to it. Also, I didn't notice any calls from the MAGA community for Kilmeade to be fired on account of his remarks. Or for that matter for his 2 co-hosts, neither of whom objected to his repugnant comment, to be called to account
  14. Please share with us your evidence that Alan Lichtman is the left's best loved pollster. Or to put it another way, stop making things up.
  15. I don't think it's appropriate to bring up Trump's suppression of the Epstein files in this discussion.
  16. False. In fact on the eve of the election he said he had a gut feeling that Trump would win.
  17. Thanks for sharing with us your lack of knowledge. Biden got passed a huge infrastucture spending bill which Trump is now claiming credit for. He also gave renewable energy a huge push which Trump ultimately won't be able to undo. He also made Obamacare a lot more affordable. He funded that by taxing the rich.
  18. Charlie Kirk agreed that there is no such thing as hate speech. And despite being an over the top supporter of Israel, he was opposed to the Trump administration push to ban speech that was harshly critical of Israel.
  19. You've offered way too much evidence here, Might take some time to get back to you.
  20. I didn't see your post before I posted mine. At any rate, Nate Silver's aggregate is a better one because, for one thing, it takes recency into account, Real Clear simply averages all the polls within a cutoff date. So that means polls taken 2 weeks ago count just as much as those taken today. Also Silver's aggregate acounts for the past biases of the pollsters, the size of the samples etc..
  21. Trump's numbers have gone up drastically lately? What alternative reality are you reporting from? https://www.natesilver.net/p/trump-approval-ratings-nate-silver-bulletin
  22. Why would you think recommending an physical assault on someone for being transexual is not hateful?
  23. Sex between men even in a furry context is not transexualism.
  24. It's clear you don't understand what true or factual means. Here's that quote from Kirk again "I blame the decline of American men. This never should've been -- someone should've just took care of it the way we used to take care of things in the 1950s or 60s" It's not a statement of fact. He's saying what men should do. And what they should do is to take "care of it the way we used to take care of things in the 1950s or 60s" Do you think he's recommending Bible study?
