  1. What do you expect on such an occasion? For them to give him the finger?
  2. When what you're pointing out is used irrelevant, it doesn't count as smart.
  3. Yes, Trump's notion that changing the name of the Defense Dept sounds like BS to me too. But Hegseth himself has advocated for the change in the past. Trump wants a renamed War Department. What Pete Hegseth thinks, what it would take. PresidentDonald Trump has suggested changing the name of Defense Department back to its pre-World War II moniker as the War Department, after his claimed success in bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities. At the conclusion of a June 25 NATO meeting in the Netherlands, Trump introduced Pete Hegseth as “secretary of war.” Trump said the name of the War Department, the precursor to the Defense Department, was visible on the wall of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the White House, where the agency was once housed. https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-wants-renamed-war-department-211223383.html
  4. At the rate Trump is going, those enemies will also include former allies. This kind of christening will only hasten the process.
  5. The Trump administration is drawing up plans to rebrand the Department of Defense as the Department of War, according to a White House official, following up on the president’s push to revive a name last used in 1947... “As Department of War, we won everything. We won everything,” Trump said Monday, referring to wars fought before the creation of the Department of Defense after World War II. “I think we’re going to have to go back to that.” https://archive.ph/DrKyY A Dept. of Defense by any other name would smell less sweet?
  6. Well, I'm sure you won't experience any problems with inflation in the US. The current president said he was going to solve that problem on day 1 of his term. Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy the fascism.
  7. Typical right wing response. Blame the messenger.
  8. Not only is he inventing disorders, but he claims he can spot them on sight. This is the guy we want deciding about scientific research? Laughable.
  9. Good luck in finding what Kennedy means by "mitochondrial challenge". More quackery.
  10. Given what I've experienced in our last few exchanges, I'd say you should start looking for ignorance closer to home.
  11. Mitochondrial challenge.
  12. More evidence of your trolling. How does calling out the bizarre claims of RFK jr mean that I maintain that American children are as healthy as ever?
  13. I've got to give you this: No matter how low you sink, you find a way to sink even lower.
  14. NASA plans to put a nuclear reactor on the moon. Here's what that means The Trump administration is accelerating plans to place a nuclear reactor on the moon to power a base for humans. The reactor would launch to the moon by 2030, according to a directive by acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy that was sent to NASA officials in July and obtained by NPR. It's an ambitious target that has some in the scientific community concerned about high costs and a potentially unrealistic schedule. https://www.npr.org/2025/08/08/nx-s1-5493500/nasa-nuclear-reactor-on-the-moon-explainer
  15. Projecting again. Your lack of self-knowledge is truly remarkable.
  16. Not surprising you have so little use for the truth.
  17. Does he also prescribe ivermectin and vitamin D for Covid? And only a stupid person would make such a claim about intelligence without any way of proving it.
  18. The 71-year-old wellness conspiracist warned reporters Wednesday that America’s children are suffering from “mitochondrial challenges,” an non-clinical term that suggests Kennedy is capable of peering into a person’s cellular health at a glance. “I know what a healthy child is supposed to look like,” Kennedy said. “I’m looking at kids as I walk through the airports today, as I walk down the street, and I see these kids that are overburdened with mitochondrial challenges, with inflammation, you can tell from their faces, from their body movements and from their lack of social connection.” https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/rfk-jr-makes-extremely-weird-161234433.html
  19. You're lying. This video was posted to youtube 1 year ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw4bFPtEgV4
  20. What would someone like you who makes a practice of casting baseless aspersions y know about shame?
  21. Most likely you're right. Although Trump wants to make Steve Miran head of the Fed. Not so long ago Miran proposed forcibly confiscating short term bonds held by foreigners and replacing them with 100 year bonds. That would hasten the decline of the dollar as a reserve currency. That said, there really isn't a clear competitor in sight. China refuses to let its currency float freely and be freely exchangeable. Even if Xi promised to change that policy, why would anyone trust him to adhere to it? And the Euro isn't exactly a universal currency even in the EU. Eurobonds issued by different countries command different rates.
  22. You're quite right. Herd immunity can be acquired through infection by a virus or bacteria. Which is why smallpox, polio, whooping cough and other vaccinations are so pointless except for the minor fact that the unvaccinated are more likely to die or become seriously ill if that is the route that's taken to achieve protection.
  23. Like Nick Supreme, I too would support this initiative if it were pushed by the Biden Administration. That's because it would be fact-based and not the kind of nonsense pushed by Jr.
