US plans to start checking all tourists' social media
They would have been horrified at keeping people out based on their views. And nothing in the first amendment says it's for citizens only.

The founding fathers would be horrified by your claim.

Which American citizens? Ones who agree with you? Did you actually read the article? Apart from your apparent distaste for the first amendment, where was it noted that the administration was targeting would be demonstrators?

COVID Shots Tied to a Lower Risk of Death From Any Cause
A small jab - a big effect: nonspecific immunomodulation by vaccines Recent epidemiological studies have shown that, in addition to disease-specific effects, vaccines against infectious diseases have nonspecific effects on the ability of the immune system to handle other pathogens. For instance, in randomized trials tuberculosis and measles vaccines are associated with a substantial reduction in overall child mortality, which cannot be explained by prevention of the target disease. New research suggests that the nonspecific effects of vaccines are related to cross-reactivity of the adaptive immune system with unrelated pathogens, and to training of the innate immune system through epigenetic reprogramming. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23680130/

Thank you for your thoughtful critique. Still, next time could you lighten up a bit on the evidence?

COVID Shots Tied to a Lower Risk of Death From Any Cause
Advantage held even after removing coronavirus-related deaths from the mix Young and middle-age adults who had at least one dose of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine were less likely to die of any cause in the following 4 years compared with those who weren't vaccinated, a nationwide French cohort study found... Among over 28 million adults under 60 years of age, the incidence of all-cause mortality among those who received a first dose of mRNA vaccine from May 1 to Oct. 31, 2021, was 0.4% after a median follow-up of 45 months, compared with 0.6% in those who were unvaccinated by Nov. 1, 2021. https://www.medpagetoday.com/infectiousdisease/covid19vaccine/118840

If that's the case, then why don't they release the memo?

US plans to start checking all tourists' social media
Funny. Right wingers got so incensed on Facebook and others censored content. But when the government denies entry to foreigners face not on any crimes but simply speech, they're fine with that. 2025 is turning into 1984 and the guy like George Orwell would probably be forbidden from entering.

Is King Trump's reign coming to an end ?
"Well if she doesn't support Israel she's not America first." Somebody is badly in need of a geography lesson.

Trump backtracks on releasing boat strike video
The thing is, at least those strikes in the Middle East had authorization from Congress. The Trump administration refuses to release the memo which provides the legal basis for their actions. But leaks about that memo suggest that it's completely ridiculous which is why the Trump administration doesn't want to let it see the light of day.

Democrat Eileen Higgins Wins Miami Mayoral Election
Thanks for the moronic comment. Actually, both she and her opponent at work in government to clean it up. As far as that goes, both had very good records.

And how do you inform yourself about political issues? Telepathy? Direct mystic interface? No intermediate sources? It is to laugh.

Democrat Eileen Higgins Wins Miami Mayoral Election
So local that Donald Trump endorsed her MAGA opponent.

I don't think it's unreasonable to infer that the immigration crackdown play the big role in this.

In fact, both Obama and Biden did raise taxes on the wealthy. Biden was working with a razor thin majority. It's the Republicans, from Ronald Reagan to George w bush to Donald Trump who have repeatedly lowered taxes on the rich.

Democrat Eileen Higgins Wins Miami Mayoral Election
Miami voters elected Eileen Higgins as mayor in a rout on Tuesday, choosing a Democrat to lead the city for the first time in almost 30 years in a race that Democrats hope sets a precedent for the 2026 midterms. Ms. Higgins, 61, will become Miami’s first female mayor and its first non-Hispanic mayor since the 1990s. Cuban American Republicans have dominated city politics over the past three decades. “Together, we turned the page on years of chaos and corruption and opened the door to a new era for our city — one defined by ethical, accountable leadership that delivers real results for the people,” Ms. Higgins said in a statement declaring victory, promising to lead a government “that finally earns the public’s trust.” https://archive.ph/QTCHu9

Trump backtracks on releasing boat strike video
If the videos could "dissuade drug smugglers from running their garbage to the US" why the reluctance to release them? Most likely it would be European lives saved, not American live, since cocaine from Venezuela mostly ends up there. But you'll note I wrote "would be". Reportedly Columbia, Bolivia and Peru are producing record amounts of cocaine. There's always been some attrition. How much crimp in the supply lines will be displaced by these attacks? What's more, Venezuela is a minor player compared to other shippers like Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.

Why Trump and MAGA are so wrong on immigration
However, Aipac also contributes substantially to elections through its pacs. Far more than it spends on lobbying.

Trump backtracks on releasing boat strike video
It would be a lie if you could show intent ad there wasn't a history of huge tax breaks being granted to the wealthy. Trump being one of the chief malefactors in granting those breaks. So his formulation may have been a little sloppy, but it was about how Trump, like other super-wealthy people, use all sorts of tactics, legal but dodgy, to avoid taxes.

In 2012, Buffett made headlines when he revealed a startling truth: his secretary, Debbie Bosanek, paid a far higher tax rate than he did. He explained, "I don't pay hardly any payroll taxes. Gov. Romney hardly pays any payroll taxes. Newt Gingrich hardly pays any payroll taxes." Driving the point home, he emphasized the disparity: "Debbie pays lots of payroll taxes." https://finance.yahoo.com/news/billionaire-warren-buffett-calls-outrageous-173016060.html

Right. So generous. So disinterests. Which is why Trump has not put his businesses in a blind trust as other Presidents have done. His businesses are working with foreign governments. For some strange reason the UAE used the Trump company's crypto coins to transfer 2 billion dollars to Binance the head of which Trump pardoned despite the fact this this guy knowingly failed to put a stop to money laundering used by terrorists and other malefactors. And that's just one of many ways in which Trump businesses profit from their dealings with foreign governments.

Trump backtracks on releasing boat strike video
If somebody wants to shoot themselves in the foot and compels someone to hand over the gun to do it with, is his success in getting them to do that, a benefit to him? You don't seem to understand that just because the ignoramus got what he wants, that doesn't mean the country is going to benefit from it. In 2025 imports have actually increased at a higher rate than exports. And factory jobs have actually declined. Why do you think this is a success?
