  1. You're the one who posted this topic. You tell me.
  2. So, for you, the criterion for success would be if Trump does well out of this Venezuelan conflict?
  3. And, the subject of this thread is "The Real Reason Trump is Threatening Venezuela" So, that's the real reason, what would that make Trump's claim about fighting the cartels?
  4. So you think that George W. Bush didn't lie his way into the Iraq War?
  5. Oh, you think that turned out well, do you? You and Liz Cheney.
  6. So why is Trump lying his way into a war if that's the real reason? Next he'll be claiming that there are WMD in Caracas.
  7. This has got to be the least self-aware comment I have ever seen on asean now.com. And that's saying a lot.
  8. "Offenses related to events"...given that he did what he did as a way to protest it could be argued that he was incited by Trumps call to come to Washington, Anyway it's a moot point given that date. Still, even though it doesn't look like that appeal would work, Trump could still pardon him. It's true it doesn't seem like he has plusses like major involvement in the drugs trade like Ross Ulbricht. founder of the dark web, or Oscar Hernandez, who worked with El Chapo to get huge quantities of cocaine into the United States; and I don't think he's a corrupt politician or married to one, or that he defrauded people out of millions of dollars and got to keep his ill-gotten gains, still the most important factor is that he was a supporter of Trump. And since he did it out of a belief that Trump was robbed of the election, the same belief that motivated the 'Capitol rioters, and that the bombs didn't go off, whether by design or not, and we know that many of the capitol rioters did injure police and they got pardoned, I don't see why he shouldn't have a good shot at it too.
  9. Mr. Trump, in one of his first official acts after returning to the White House this year, issued a grant of clemency to the nearly 1,600 rioters charged in connection with the Capitol attack. His proclamation was extraordinarily broad, covering all defendants accused or convicted of “offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.” I don't know if this took place on January 6th. But if it did, a strong case could be made that it was covered.
  10. Well it is kind of stupid. The issue isn't whether your comment was an insult, a compliment or a rigorously impartial observation. This isn't a thread about me. I am not the issue. Frankly, I think the moderators are making a big mistake by not making a whole forum about me. I am that fascinating a person. But until that time, stick to the issues.
  11. Given that Janine pirro now confirms that the pipe bomb terrorist was doing it the protest the elections, it looks like he pretty much has a slam dunk case.
  12. This isn't the first time that Bongino has done a 180 degree turn. Remember the Epstein files? And how Trump's supporters turned right along with him? Here's what he said about the Capitol Pipe Bomb Case before he rejoined the govt: “The J6 Pipebomber: The Biggest Scandal in U.S. History.” “It is probably the most explosive story folks, you’re going to read this year. I make no effort at hyperbole at all.” Bongino begins by declaring, “I believe it’s the biggest scandal of our time because there’s clearly a monster cover up going on.” https://archive.ph/3GRdd
  13. This is what happens when I go off my meds.
  14. Here's more information from another lying leftist: Pipe bomb suspect was 'disappointed' in 2020 election results, US attorney says The man who is accused of placing two pipe bombs outside the Democratic and Republican National Committee offices on Jan. 5, 2021, told investigators he was "disappointed" in the results of the 2020 election, according to U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro. Brian Cole Jr. also said that that he got rid of the unusual shoes that investigators were looking for, according Pirro. "He told us that he had those sneakers and that he got rid of them after he placed the pipe bombs," Pirro told ABC News in an exclusive interview Friday. https://abcnews.go.com/US/pipe-bomb-suspect-disappointed-2020-election-results-us/story?id=128157568
  15. I think you mean a venerable award created 30 days ago.
  16. There are nasty folk out there who claim that Trump is showing his age. What do they know? When it comes to neediness, he's still a 4 year old.
  17. Political pundits agree that congratulations are in order for the Republicans who plotted Epps suspect victory in the special election. Due to the Republicans' cunning manipulation, their candidate actually exceeded President Trump's margins in this district in the 2024 election by -13%. Republican strategists now think there is a good chance that the margin of victory for the popular vote in the 2026 midterms will come somewhat close to President Trump's 49.8% landslide win in 2024. Republicans across the country were openly celebrating the margin of victory in this special election. GOP frets ‘dangerous’ result in Tennessee Republicans won Tuesday’s special election in Tennessee. But instead of celebrating, many are dreading what it means about the midterms. Republican Rep.-elect Matt Van Epps’ roughly nine point win marks a massive shift toward Democrats from 2024, when President Donald Trump carried the district by 22 points. That double digit swing — on the heels of crushing losses in off-year elections in November — could be a harbinger of what House Republicans will face in the midterms next year, members and strategists warned, as they seek to hold on to their narrow control of the chamber. https://subscriber.politicopro.com/article/2025/12/tennessee-election-republican-midterms-fallout-pro-00674124 Tennessee special election outcome puts GOP on notice Republicans sounded the alarm at the outcome of Tuesday’s Tennessee special election in which Democratic candidate Aftyn Behn significantly overperformed in reliably Republican territory. Republican Matt Van Epps defeated Behn by roughly 9 points, a far narrower margin than the 22 points President Trump carried the district by last year. The unexpectedly competitive race underscores potential vulnerabilities for Republicans as they seek to fend off a potential blue wave in the 2026 midterms and protect their razor-thin majority. That concern was evident on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) told reporters that Republicans “better wake up.” https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5632757-tennessee-special-election-house-gop/
  18. Well, the time he takes off to receive fake awards is time he isn't misspending ruining America. Democrats should start creating awards ceremonies for him, too.
  19. This is your idea of exoneration? The Pentagon inspector general’s release Thursday of its long-awaited report on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s role in the Signalgate affair offered nothing that will doom President Donald Trump’s most embattled Cabinet chief. But it could complicate his political future. Investigators concluded that Hegseth’s use of the Signal messaging app to send updates about strikes in Yemen broke rules for handling sensitive information and risked putting troops in danger — even if Hegseth has the power to declassify that information as he sees fit. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/12/04/pentagon-releases-report-on-hegseths-signal-chats-00676662
  20. Given that spidermike007 never mentioned him in his comment. what else is there to conclude but that you believe that homosexuals are morally depraved? Somehow, that's not surprising.
  21. Now we all know that you were expelled from the tribe a long time ago on the grounds that you weren't civilized enough.
  22. While leaving the Trump supporters in this thread feeling deflated.
  23. How about this? US Institute of Peace renamed for Donald Trump despite legal battle https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/dec/04/institute-peace-renamed-donald-trump And this: Trump Accidentally Lets Slip Plan to Rename Kennedy Center President Donald Trump “accidentally” let slip on Thursday the next target for Trumpification: the Kennedy Center. “You have a big event on Friday at the Trump-Kennedy Center—op, excuse me. The Kennedy Center,” Trump said with a laugh. “Pardon me, such a terrible mistake,” he continued, grinning. https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/trump-accidentally-lets-slip-plan-195905023.html This latter possible renaming despite the fact that the Center's financial situation has grown dire thanks to Trump.
  24. You have a misspelling in your comment. It's "Kool-Aid" not "cool-aid". Why do you hate America?
