I wanted to convey a point in one of my posts: the left would have gone into an uproar if Trump had killed two US citizens with drones without due process, as Obama did. They seem to overlook executive overreach that of past administrations. This thread discusses "authoritarianism," but all they want to focus on is tariffs. Excessive overreach has been on the rise since FDR, with the growth of the federal government and congess shoveling more power to the executive branch. The hyperventilating left-wing posters will ignore the executive overreach from their team and act like what Trump does is unprecedented. There needs to be a conversation about Congress reining in the executive branch's power.
