  1. This coming from the British who failed to anticipate landings in Malaya.
  2. No, not a suggestion, but unfounded conspiracy theories, which really originated in 1944 when John Flynn, co-founder of the American First committee, published a pamphlet claiming Roosevelt deliberately provoked the Japanese into attacking Pearl. A response to the general so-called theories https://vc.bridgew.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1847&context=br_rev Other suggestions are that Hitler fled to live on the moon and there's a guy who down the chip shop who claim's he's Elvic, but he's a liar.
  3. Is this a first? The first person to acknowledge that not everyone who dislikes the current President is of a Left Wing ilk? Give that man a round of applause. Clearly its more than gossip. How far it goes another thing. And it might not actually be about what is in these files but what the President might think is in these files. Ever since that recording of the man in discussion with Billy Bush, you have a certain idea of the character of the man, and its not a good character. No, I do not dismiss such talk as mere "locker room" talk. No one I know talks like that. Now I know there are many forum members here who are habitual users of prostitutes, and for them perhaps such talk is normal, indicative of the retarded way they werr raised from the gutter and put on the dirt track. We will see.
  4. Electoral rhetoric. Wasn't he supposed to reveal what really happened in Dallas with Kennedy?
  5. Probably the relection of Nixon. Victory in Vietnam would mean that Watergate, even if discovered, would never had the impact it had on a Presidency, because American Presidents who do well in wars tend to be popular. Ford would have been elected in 1977. Its doubtful whether he would have been relected. So there would have never been a President Reagan, as by the time he would have had a chance in 84, he would have been far too old as a first timer. 84 might have been Dole or George HW Bush, say they had got it, then the end of the 20th Century would have been entirely different. Like him or loathe him, Reagan, with the support of Thatcher, was instrumental in the downfall of the Soviet Union. I don't think any other American Politician could have done that.
  6. Full transcript of a speech of unbelievable and solemn gravitas befitting an occasion intended for quiet reflection of the sacrifice of men and women that came before us. To aid reading, I have highlighted the relevant sections, so you can skip past the electioneering parts, which I suppose must be a traditional feature of all of these (formally named) Veterans Day Arlington Cemetary events. Some take aways and corrections. 1. The UK does not mark Remembrance Sunday nor Armistice Day with a knees up and street parties as intimated by the President. Remembrance Sunday is a solemn day, a day for laying wreaths of Poppies. There are, notably, no speeches from anyone, no music. Its very funereal. Armistace Day is usually not on the sunday; the only event, as such, that happens is a national partaking in 2 minutes of silence at 11am GMT , when we would stop what we are doing, stand, bowl head, and take a moment. The closest to a celebratory event would be the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, where military bands provide an evening of appropriate music for the purposes of raising funds for the British Royal Legion, which exists to provide help and support for ex-servicemen and woman at any time of their lives. There are no speeches by politicians nor Royalty. Its an event purely for the Serviceman or woman, whether in uniform or not. 2. The President might have been confused with the VE 80th Anniversary Events held earlier in the year. These were a one off series of events around the country intendeTo my recollection, we had not to generate Imperial fervour, but to somehow replicate the feeling of relief at the end of a terrible war. There won't be any more events like this, as come the next major anniversary, in 2035, I don't expect there would be any WW2 veterans left, since the youngest would be 108 years old. To my recollection, there has never been a clebration to mark the end of WW1. I think the collective memory of that war was that it was a shameful, unecessary war, that wiped out an entire generation of young men, for very little benefit. WW2 is remembered for entirely different reasons. WW1 essentially ruined the 20th Century, and in 2025, we are still seeing the last motions of that War playing out in Ukraine, as essentially the rump Russian Empire fights against irrelevance. The Russian Federation will not win that war, neither will it survive, and instead, it will collapse, and new confident nations, such as Muscovy Russia, will emerge, as that last old Empire is consigned to history. 3. The President confirmed what he thinks of American soldiers who surrender. To him, captured POWs in Vietnam, Korea, the Bataan Death March survivors, the Malmedy dead, were not heroes. He called them Losers in previous speeches, and this speech indicates its a deeply held belief. As COmmander in Chief, he orders seem to be to American troops is to commit suicide rather than being captured alive. 4. There are some made up words again "Onely" 5. Veterans Day was established by President Woodrow WIlson, who apparently, it turns out, was a raging Lefty Trans nutjob imposing PC terms on the world. To be called a Veteran now, according to the President, is to use a PC term, and he doesn't like PC terms. 6. The President mentioned that he thought that the US won all the wars "in between" the Great War and World War 2. This is the period known as the Interbellum. It was marked by conflict after conflict, mostly as a result of the old Empires collapsing, but also because of competing ideologies that arose from the ruins of the Great War. The major conflicts were: Banana Wars (1898–1934): A series of conflicts against various minor states (barely countries) and the United States in and around the Caribbean sea. The wars ended with the US evacuating from Haiti. However, it would be a fair conclusion that the United States defeated a series of Banana Republics. Russian Civil War (1917-1922): Along with some other Western Powers, the United States leant military support to the White Russians fighting the Bolsheviks. The White Russians lost, and mostly fled to brothels in Paris and Shanghai. The United States was on the losing side, but cannot take the credit for that outcome Third Afghan War (1919): A war between British troops, and local levys (mostly local levys( an Fuzzywuzzies (ok, not Fuzzywuzzies, who were SOmalian). Britain won and installed an Afghan King. Polish-Soviet War (1919-1921): No US involvement, the Soviets kind of won. Ramifications to the present day, Irish War of Independence (1919-1921). No Americans, Irish Seperatists versus the UK. The Irish won. Turkish War of Independence (1919–1922): The USN supported the Triple Entente which resulted in the formation of the modern state of Turkey Irish Civil War (1922-1923) Irish fought the Irish, and both won and lot. No Americans. Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922) American troops got somehow involved in this, with troops supporting the Greeks who were fighting the Turks who were supprted by the Americans. Talk about hedging your bets. Posey War (1923); the last war the US government waged on its own people, Native Americans. The US government declared victory. Italian invasion of Ethiopia (1935-1936): Italy invaded Ethiopia. Il Duce won. Spanish Civil War (1936-1939): Hemingway was famously part of that, but on the losing side Second Sino-Japanese War (1937); Japanese won, beheaded lots of people in creasingly barbaric ways. https://rollcall.com/factbase/trump/transcript/donald-trump-remarks-veterans-day-arlington-national-cemetery-november-11-2025/
  7. Senator Boebart met the President in an effort to persuade her to remove her support to release the Silo 2 documents. Silo 1 is the 20,000 pages just released. Silo 2 apparently includes video evidence.. https://www.cpr.org/2025/11/12/boebert-name-on-petition-demanding-epstein-files-released/ https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5602658-discharge-petition-epstein-files-grijalva/ https://www.mediaite.com/media/tv/house-republicans-scramble-as-epstein-files-petition-hits-magic-number-several-announce-theyre-now-voting-in-favor/
  8. Housing in the mid-west is dirt cheap by British standards. Mate has a lovely swanky place in Missouri, high ceilings, trip garage, basement. Cost £120k. Same sort of house in the UK, similar area, £400k easily. He's a recently retired army colonel. Don't think he's seen any price inflation. His outgoings on other things are much higher than for British people. I remember working over there, and people bitching about the excessive price of gas when it went from a buck a gallon to $1.50. At the same time, UK petrol was £3.50 a Imp. gallon, $5.80. Even allowing for adjustment of US gallon to Imperial gallon, this does sound like needless moanign by the Americans, becsause they also get paid more. Until you realise, the rest of their income is spent on tv subscriptions, shopping clu subs, fat gut fast food, donuts, takeout coffee, spare pickups, boats, hunting gear and basically filling their houses with crap, then suppose a 50 cent increase in bargain basement gas hurts. Huge disparity in US house prices The most anti-immigrant states, based on voting record, really don't have a problem with house prices. And they are the same states who routinely hate Californians, calling them not "real Americans". Florida residents can mostly be dismissed as syphillitic Q-Tips, soon pushing up Daisies ("The Villages", a large retirement community in the state has the highest incidence of sexually transmitted diseases).
  9. https://www.npr.org/2019/08/22/753390385/a-dead-cat-a-lawyers-call-and-a-5-figure-donation-how-media-fell-short-on-epstei Old article about Epstein; the reference to working class girls seems oddly similar to the discussion about the Grooming Gangs.
  10. I think this is the nub, not what he might have done, but what he knew, and tolerated. A lot of people knew what Savile was doing but did nothing. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/26223085-three-epstein-emails-redacted/ Which says a lot about the Baby Boomer generation, who were complicit in covering up generational institutionalised child abuse. Its been played out in the UK for many many years; a glimpse of what Gary Glitter did in plain sight, to more recently, the Grooming Gangs, where the most shocking thing, predictably, was how the police, social services, clinicians, ordinary people, were dismissive of the victims. And I don't buy Tommy Robinson's line, he's as bad, taking advantage of child abuse. The revelations will likely shake US polite society to its core, irrespective of party; that's the reason the previous government never took action, they weighed the needs of the country against the needs of the victims, and made it worse. Need a clean sweep of baby boomers out of positions of power, irrespective of policies. They had their time, robbed society, they ruined the planet so protected by their forefathers. Subsequent generations will pick up the pieces. Hopefully the Vice President reads the tealeaves and does the decent thing.

  13. Arkell v Pressdream. Any case would be ruled in an English court. The programme could only be viewed in the United States if someone took illegal steps to break terms and conditions of iPlayer, which is blocked in the US. It could not be seen by US voters, and therefore could not have affected the outcome of the US election. It was aimed at a British audience, who have no voting rights in the United States of America since ever. It was broadcast some years after the events. No false imagry or audio was used. No one changed their mind about the US President as a result of the footage. It could only be accused of clumsy editing. No harm can be demonstrated. His Lawyer are claiming jurisdiction under Floridian law, on the basis that the President is a resident of Florida. Until the Daily Telegraph published the story on its website, which is available to subscribers in the US, the defamation, if there was one, only occurred in the UK. ergo no US defamation occurred and US courts toss it out. The Daily Telegraph is the third party, and by publishing the story in the US, either through written explanation or replaying of an unauthorised clip, they would become liable for the defamation. Moreover, the US applies special rules for public figures (a grey area), effectively they are fair game for ridicule, mockery and made up statements. Hence no one is suing the President for various falsehoods he has stated over the years, in order to win electoral favour, about his opponants. All kinds of statements are said in public discord, some funny, some offensive. When Elon Musk was sued by a British cave diver in Thailand for alleging he was a Paedophile, Musk won the case. Part of that case was won on the basis U.S. defamation law gives greater protection to speech about public figures or matters of public interest, requiring at least “actual malice” (i.e., that the defendant knew the statement was false or acted with reckless disregard for the truth) when the plaintiff is a public figure. The lawyers for the Plaintiff would be hard pushed to argue that what Panorama did produced an interpretation that was any different from what is generally held by the wider public, that the crowd was incited. In addition, during court cases of the terroristic mobs that broke into the Capitol with the intent of lynching or murdering politicians that they disagreed with, many would claim they were at least encouraged by the President to attack the Capitol. He might argue that's not what he meant, that people misunderstood. But Panorama's editing didn't change the interpretation of what many people felt on the day, who were listening to him in person. The January 6th Select Committee found Trump was the “central cause” of the attack on the Capitol. Now the members of that Committee might be dismissed as biased political hacks, who enjoy protection from the laws of defamation. The Panorama programme was broadcast to the British people in October 2024. Legally, Americans inside the US only became aware of the contents of that broadcast once the Daily Telegraph republished excerpts, without permission, many months later. Before then, the programme could only be viewed in the US by using illicit means. Overseas US voters voted in September 2024, a month before the Panorama broadcast. They could not have been party to the contents of that programme. Anyone here want to say that show changed their opinion, one way or the other? In February 2024, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) found that about 210 defendants across 40 states claimed they came to Washington D.C. or joined the violence at the Capitol because of what they viewed as Trump’s “calls” to them. https://www.citizensforethics.org/reports-investigations/crew-reports/trump-incited-january-6-defendants/ The analysis show that at least 174 defendants stated in court filings, letters, or public statements that they believed they were following Trump’s directive. For example: https://www.axios.com/2022/07/12/stephen-ayres-testifies-january-6-trump-mob Of course, just because these domestic terrorists claimed this in their defence, it doesn't mean that the courts accepted that. There have been perhaps hundreds of reports along the same lines, by members of the media, or the public, plus the President is facing lawsuits himself from former Capitol Police officers over his role on the day. He of course denies a role, but also by freeing all these terrorists, is suggesting these events never happened. I'm not sure he could show his reputation was harmed, given that his reputation was previously based on bragging about assaulting women in a recording with Billy Bush (only part of which has been published, and a court might want to hear the rest), the court case regarding is sexual assault of a woman, his record of fraud ommitted by individuals in his companys who were alllegedly acting on his behalf. Not to say his association with what is likely the most notorious pedophile in modern history (easily outstripping Savile). US Law says for Public figures, he has to show actual harm (he is alleging that the programme, broadcast to British voters, was intended to affect the US election. He won the election). In addition, he needs to show "actual malice". Actual Malice is if you knew it to be false. But previous to the programme, US politicians, after an investigation found the President had incited the crowd. December 2022; various reports: https://tennesseelookout.com/2022/12/23/u-s-house-jan-6-panel-report-finds-trump-incited-insurrection-demands-accountability/ https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/us-capitol-riot-probe-turns-focus-trump-allies-extremist-groups-2022-07-12/ Widely reported. The President might argue, and he has done, that the Committee was politically biased against him, but Panorama did nothing to lead to any other different conclusion. Negligence is a defence. Panorama could say they didn't check further why the Department of Justice hasn't followed up on the recommendations of the Committee. That might require obtaining documents from the DoJ to find out why. Their mistake. Has Panorama ignored evidence contradicting the chare of incitement; difficult. There are lots of statements by politicians, policemen who were there on the day, the defendants themselves, that would seem to support the supposition. Of course, being a widly help opinion does not mean a defamation could not have occurred, but there is the Rhetorical Hyperbole defence. Its not straightforward. Meanwhile the Telegraph might actually go under. Its been pretty muc bankrupt for years. It was a paper I subscribed to for over 25 years, until they started Tabloid-esque sting jobs to ruin perfectly decent Tory MPs, in an effort to undermine David Cameron. Ironically, the Daily Telegraph worked with Panorama to "expose" Tory MPs (Patrick Mercer, and the Fiji affair). Considering what happened later with sleazy Brexiteer politiciians, they maybe went after the wrong men.

  16. Your posts are proof you are a traitor to England.
  17. There are plenty of AI videos with that scenario. The key is if Trump's penniless Gaelic-speaking mother had never got the money to leave the Hebrides for America, and somehow ended up at parties mixing with the then Yuppies of New York (a series of unlikely events) Until about 1900, the populations of the Hebrides were in terminal decline, following the Clearances. But between 1900 and the 1920s, the population rose to an extent, that a Congested Districts Board was founded to essentially repopulate those abandoned properties. WW1 was catastrophic; Lewis lost 1000 men. More importantly, Viscount Leverhulme (William Lever, made a fortune making soap, his company became Unilever) brought Lewis. He had plans to building a fishing industry, the locals wanted the land to be broken up into crofts, rather than this feudal situation, he was against that, and basically wrecked what economy there was. Many left the islands, mostly for Canada and Detroit in the US. By the 1930s, the Depression, worsened by the tariffs then, caused migration across the Atlantic to dry up, so its quite possible that Mairi Anna NicLeoid would never have made that journey, or after her first return from the US, where she was basically a scrubber, she never went back. Given that, then the most liley places she would have gone for work would have been Aberdeen or Glasgow. As a Prod, she would have avoided the East End, full of Taigs. As a poor highlander, likely the Gorbals, which by the 1940s, were the worst slums in Europe. Alternative Mary married a welder named Robert Nesbit, known as Clarence, to avoid confusion with his Da', also called Rob. Trump apparently was more influenced by his mother than his father. He looks more like a Scot, with that strawberry flax for hair and that flat face. Where your DNA comes from isn't exactly how you think it works; we inherit DNA from both our parents, but its not 50-50. Alternative Scottish Trump's dad would have been a shipworker, maybe a welder at Govan, working on the ships. Trump would have been in a big family, but many perished due to endemic TB. His Da' would have been a hardman, believed in the belt. At a young age, Trump would have been going to see Rangers play, drinking at the Stag, with its sawdust coated floor. His favourite tipple would have been 80 Shilling, but as a young 'un. he would have been in the park swigging Buckfast with his mates. Scottish Trump (Donald Nesbitt) was too young for National Service. Like many of his generation, he followed dad into work. However, by the late 60s, the shipyards were in trouble, and young Nesbitt was laid off, but not before he took part in the UCS Work-In, in a vain attempt to save their jobs. During this time, he got the nickname Red Donnie, because of his militancy, where he said he was prepared to fight fight fight for his jobs. He didn't much care for his Catholic colleagues. Thereafter he spent most of the 70s and 80s drifting around various factory jobs, at one point installing the tartan seats in Hillman Imps, Scotland's car. He got himself a council flat though in one of the new blocks, but life was hard. He was good with his hands though, small as they were, so got some jobs in building. By the late 70s he was earning some good money over in Dusseldorf, building flats for the Germans, living in basically a shed, a bit of cash in hand. He always fancied amateur dramatics, and auditioned for a comedy series, Auf Wiedersehn Pet, seemingly based on his life, where he had a audition tape, where he pitched for the character of Wayne, a cheery jack the lad type of character. He lost out, because the producers gave the part to some cockney <deleted>. Nevertheless, he was inspired, and started on the comedy gig circuit, in between building jobs, where he created a character, called Rab, modeled on his dad whom he lionised. A bit of an improvement though over his kid brother, Begsie. He even told Mike Myers how to do a proper accent. The gigs, which included a spot on TV, got him enough money to buy his flat during the Thatcherite revolution, and to get him some buy to lets. By 2000 though, like many Glaswegian men in their mid-50s, his body was knackered. He didn't have much of a pension, but he had salted some money away that the taxman couldn't get their hands on. 2006 and he decided to sell up his lets. He retired to Thailand, and passed away in 2013, during a tummy reduction operation in Phuket. He left behind a 25 year old wife, and 5 kids, some of which are his, but he wasn't sure. A life well lived. Obviously satire.
  18. Perhaps he is an Englishman who gained a US Passport. Makes him a traitor in my book. He's avoided an explanation. Plastic Yank.
  19. By flying my flag you are mocking my country.
  20. The fainting happened rather quickly, and Dr Oz was on it. The President's look was one of confusion. The man had fainted, but he couldn't fathom the next few events. I used to see my late father display towards the end. He'd not understand a situation, but rather than continuing the confusion, and ask what is going on, he switched to complete indifference. Its a trait common in dementia patients, doctor's label as apathy. Decision making is affected about effort and reward, leading to withdrawal like this. He stood up and moved to the man, to offer to help, like anyone would (its a built in instinct, we are social animals). A leader, his instinct, once he saw the man being attended to, would have been to lead in clearing out the press, like an announcement along the lines of "thats it folks, presentation is over, can you give up some room, to let the medics in, do their thing etc". That would have been the human instinct to help. The two ladies weren't doing a good job clearing out the photographers, hence these photos capturing a blank expression. This ties in with other observations about his gait, particularly in Alaska, as both are indicative of FTD. Its a fact that he's had two revent annual physical examinations, which included a cognition test and subsequent MRI. Since when does one have more than one annual physical in a year? How a previous President (ironically during an event related to healthcre funding) dealt with a fainting attendee. Biden also looked a little confused, similar to Trump, but managed some words of reassurance to people in the room This is a stark difference in behaviour from Trump. Back in April this year, there was an event in the Oval Office. Trump was speaking at a lectarn, looking much more alert. A little girl fainted during Dr Oz's swearing in ceremony. Trump looks over, doesn't move, and then steps forward, clearly offering to help (whether or not it was needed), a complete reversal in behaviour from last week. Yes, I know Dr Oz claimed the President called the man's wife later. I think this is Sundowners. I also saw this in my dad, where his behaviour would change in the afternoon, as he became more tited. Before the fainting, Trump, sitting, not standing, read through some prepared remarks. Along the way, he stumbled over names, a few times he paused, and made up a word, and often he would suddenly stop and go off on a tangent. He looked tired sitting, but standing, more energised.

  24. https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/fbi-informant-lied-bidens-covertly-203542065.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cucGlzdG9uaGVhZHMuY29tLw&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAG9AobUHtrl4GSPe1Tqnd9KIcLuMROjtsk3bLfrd029eRDtP9YTWPzq4VoQ1sRMxk3GOaG0d2quUHKUKH7XNfoz2xJDFCe-X9Go_0q8OAypcdKasgO_onj76mWvWhKc9o1ayjRRQlVdcIu1s8w9vQQ0-cncDUv2qO4SNBR3De0J7 Something very odd. The FBI and some American politicians had pushed this guy as a very reliable, important FBI informant. A retired Federal agent thinks something stinks about the whole affair, he suggests double agent, that the FBI was basically played. https://www.tampabay.com/opinion/2024/02/28/i-handled-high-level-informants-heres-what-i-make-smirnov-case-about-biden-ukraine/ Why didn't this man enter the normal prison system. It sounds like he has been held in communicado. Obviously highly embarassing for the FBI. Allegedly he is an Israeli with US citizenship. He was born in the Donbass, moved to Israel aged 12. He moved to the US aged 16, with his parents and sisters remaining in the US. By age 30, he was living a luxurious lifestyle, without a clear idea of where he got his money from to sustain that lifestyle. By 2010, he was a paid FBI informant. During his trial, he claimed he was indigent, ie penniless. Lots of other mystery about his life: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-02-26/informant-next-door-quiet-life-masked-kremlin-ties-fbi-source-accused-of-lying-about-bidens America has recent history about Russian sleeper cells infiltrating society, all very embarassing. Anyone remember Anna Chapman? The hottie Russian, shacked up with some smitten and naive Brit so she could get a nice Anglicised name. Caught, prisoner exchange, now has her own nationalist TV show. This bloke had married some woman in Wisconsin, who barely remembers him, shacked up with a Ukrainian divorcee. Court documents recount that he barely speaks any English. So how did he get that US passport? Neighbours only remember the couple in that they "kept to themselves". Another red flag. How did the FBI recruit him in 2009-2010, to recruit Russian turncoats? Prosecutors alleged his links to Russian intelligence were not "benign", hence the rumours that he was a "double agent"; that would suggest someone who's loyalties had been turned. Why not the alternative? What's the bet he next turns up on Russian TV announcing his canditure for the Duna, which is where GRU spooks seem to end up.
